Friendly Receptionist but Modest Accommodation

Chap on Reception was friendly and very helpful: he also spoke English to me which (as a non-French speaker) was much appreciated. Sadly the hotel (motel) is very basic with minimum creature comforts in the room and a tiny shower. And the outside of the building is very tired and needs a re-furb. Well located, though, for McDs, a supermarket and a restaurant just 100 metres away.

Good staff and location

The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. The shower was nasty, no bracket and very small, not a relaxing shower. The sink had new taps but they were too big for the sink, face washing was nearly impossible. The breakfast was basic but tasty and plentiful.
The hotel was very close to the main road for convenience, and macdonalds was 100 metres across the road.

It wasn't alot of money for a free parking spot outside of your room, a locked door, warm clean room with a tv, en suite with lots of hot water and towels, the a comfortable clean bed. Yes the walls are a little thin and one could hear the road sometimes, but a minor niggle. A fine breakfast and super staff.

The property is workman hotel, next to a busy dual carriageway . First impression is its very tired and in need of refurbishment. The door opens onto an outside landing, and had obviously been forced open and repaired, wind noise gushed through it as seal broken, meaning we heard the vehicles on dual carriageway. It just felt very unsafe given the location. The room itself waa clean and bathroom waa something you might find in a boat or large caravan. All in all I was pleased it was just one night.

Cheap, clean commuting stopover

Stopover on way back to the UK from the alps after skiing. Clean, compact rooms with good security coverage as our expensive skis were on the roof of the car. Breakfast was good for 5 euros and served a purpose when you just want to get off back on your journey home. I wouldn’t say the area was nice or had much around as it was in an industrial zone, but was cheap and very clean with comfier rooms and beds than the formule 1 hotels

Big value for small cost!

Premiere Classe hotels are a budget line and for the cost they are excellent value. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast is good value - not a Full English but you don't expect that in France! We usually use this chain for overnight stops on the way to visit family.

Not a pleasant experience!

There was broken glass that a friend got in his foot after showering. It was outside too with no attempr to remove it.
The female staff member muttered she'd prefer we spoke English than try in French and not helpful at breakfast. Breakfast was a choice of bread or cake. Room was good for the money but that was the only positive point.

This is a very basic one star hotel. But it was very clean and comfortable for a one night stay with a great shower and large double bed. There was also a bunk bed over the double, giving great value for a couple with a child. The area is an out of town shopping area with large supermarket nearby (very useful) and s couple of low cost restaurants.

This hotel was exactly what I expected for the price. The room was big enough for one person. The bed was clean and comfortable, the shower and toilet seemed to be new, small but very clean. Lots of white van workers but quiet. Easy to find and not far off my route south.
Ate in the nearby Campanile hotel which was diabolical. Service poor, sent my main course back, as did the person on the next table. Never done that in a French ‘restaurant’ before. Should have gone to McDonalds and that’s saying something.

You really can't complain about anything here - it is SOOOOO cheap and convenient when you are on a long trip. 2 adults, baby and the dog for an overnight stop, clean room and a good breakfast. you aren't paying 5 star prices so you really can't expect a 5 star room!

This is a ridiculously cheap and very convenient place to stay. we were arriving late and traveling with our small baby and dog. We wanted somewhere cheap to lay our heads. They provided a cot and a good basic breakfast - what more can you ask for at £34?! We would stop in again

I had an Expedia reservation for 40 Euro but the hotel couldn't find it. They did have a room but it was 45 Euro. They called Expedia but since I used Expedia US they couldn't do anything for me. They told me to call Expedia US but I couldn't because I was in France. It's really not suitable for 3 adults because the bunk bed on top of the double bed is too tight for most adults to comfortably fit.

We arrived after midnight because of a traffic jam. The automatic registration system did not work, so we had to wake the concierge in order to book in. She was helpful and we eventually got into the room. We had booked a travel cot which she had no record of, but she did eventually find one in a cupboard. The room was adequate (for the price), but smelt of smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room.

The way the hotel is set out, made our stay particularly noisy through the night; we were on the ground floor, with an outside door (motel style) near the entrance, so heard traffic and people (noisily) coming and going all night long.

Very basic, smelt very strongly of cigarettes, even though it was a no smoking room. Friendly staff though, and location is quite good, only a few minutes drive into the centre. Don't bother with the breakfast though, eating off trays, and no hot food.

Nothing special about this place but it is cheap and at the right place when crossing France. It can be a bit noisy not so much because it is close to the N44 but because other clients speak loudly and smoke on the balconies. Not everyone like to sleep with their windows closed.

I was on a motorcycle holiday and this was my first stop and indeed my first stay in a Premier Classe Hotel. I was really impressed by the Hotel and its location. I had an undisturbed night's sleep and the facilities in the Hotel and surrounding it were ideal for me.

We just used this as a stopover and didn't want to spend much! The room was very basic as would be expected for the price, but surprisingly spacious and very clean. Firm mattress on the bed. Very dark as only one small window. Main problem is noise from main road at the back of the hotel - needed earplugs to block this out.

Staff mostly very helpful.
Several restaurants, shops and a Post Office nearby. Buses are available nearby into town, but infrequent, and the return trip often turns round at a school and goes back into town, with very little warning. Not far to walk but check with the bus driver when you get on.

One of the worst budget hotels I have ever stayed in during the last twenty years, the room was no smokiing,although the bed and bed linen reeked of smoke,the noise from a metal stair way above the room was appalling, and carried on to the early hours, compared to other hotels within this price group it rates as dreadful. We really appreciate being able to sit outside in the evening on the tables and chairs. Unfortunately there was a group of German men who were very noisy and quite rude when asked to be quiet. Other than that our stay was as expected. It is very good value for money and the breakfast is really good.

L’accueil sympathique, la chambre et la salle de bain spacieuses et confortables, le petit déjeuner très correct, tout nous aurait incité à repasser par cet hôtel lors de notre voyage retour, étant donné le très bon rapport qualité-prix. MAIS nous avons très mal dormi parce que l’hôtel est juste à côté d’une route très fréquentée, y compris par les poids lourds, toute la nuit. Nous avons donc très mal dormi. Nous ne sommes pas retournés dans cet hôtel. Une isolation phonique changerait tout !

L'accueil a été fort sympathique. Un verre d'eau fraîche et de sirop nous attendait à notre arrivée.
Les chambres sont propres le couchage est très confortable. La salle de bain est très petite, la douche n'est pas très pratique (rideau qui colle à la peau) l'accès au lavabo est très compliqué.

Hotel décevant, insonorisation zéro. On entend aussi bien la voie rapide que les personnes montant dans leur chambre a toute heure... La \"cabine sanitaire\" est vétuste et dégradée, odeur de tabac froid. Compliqué pour prendre la douche sans se demander si on laisse le rideau ouvert pour ne pas l avoir contre soi.
Pour le lit c'est convenable.

C'est le premier hôtel première classe qui a les draps qui sentent bons, qui sont doux,sans trous de cigarettes, la chambre était correcte, le seul point décevant était la réception pratiquement toujours fermé, pas évident quand la carte de la chambre se démagnétise
