The staff was super friendly. Much needed updates needed, however, particularly in bathroom. Problem with gnats in room around sink and live centipede in bathtub on day 2. I appreciate that the sheets were clean and there was no carpet. Breakfast waffles were delicious and eating area was clean. I would not have booked if I didn’t have family staying next to me as I don’t like outside entrance motels.

The staff was friendly and accommodating to our needs. Ample free parking. Very clean tub with grab bars which I needed. Nice white fluffy towels. Clean sheets. No bed bugs. It was a very quiet room with no loud noisy from other patrons. AC unit was not overly loud which they usually are in hotels/motels. The only con was the continental breakfast, only a tangerine and coffee with no sugar or cream. I don't call this a continental breakfast. But the McDonalds is across the street and we had a good breakfast there. Traffic is bumper to bumper do expect delays, just leave for your destination a little earlier.

The facility is old. It was clean and everyone was very kind and helpful but the fact that it's old makes it look dirty and dingy. Breakfast was good. Electricity in our room 101 was very poor. Only one outlet in the room by the windows side of bed worked. The other side did not neither did the one by the coffee pot. We had 2 cpap machines and struggled with an extension cord i happened to have to rig it up to sleep at night. Not enough shampoo soap or toilet paper although the woman was happy to get more. Overall it was clean and we felt safe but probably wouldn't return.

We will not stay at that one again. When we arrived check in was good. At the room when I walked around in socks, the floor was dirty and sticky in some areas. We were there 4 nights. I'm used to cleaning and fresh towels daily. We had to take our own trash out. Ask for towels. Not sure why they didn't clean our room. I'm not a complainer so we made the best of the situation.

The bathroom had hair on the floor and tub rim. The tub was full of hair and obviously had not been cleaned. After informing management they came to the room and wiped out the hair in the tub. Never turned on the faucet. Did not bring any cleaning supplies. Just wiped the hair out. There was enough dust on the floor lamp in the room that you could write your name in it. The duvet was covered in stains. We found hair on the sheets. They had satellite TV and it was raining so the TV kept going out.

Although I had an extremely hard time understanding her English, the lady who checked me in was very sweet. The gentleman who checked me out the next morning is a different story. I skipped breakfast because the breakfast area wasn’t appealing at all…the bananas were almost brown and from that visual I immediately didn’t trust any other item they were offering. The guy behind the counter was far more interested in his phone and my completing a google review than helping me. I wanted my Wyndham number registered on my account before I checked out and he refused to do it. The coffee was cold too so I just got breakfast at McDonald’s across the street. I’ll choose another option when staying in Dahlonega next time. I normally just don’t go back to a place but that dude working there insisted I give him a review…so here you go.

I wanted to stay close to Dahlonega, Days inn is close but I recommend you go elsewhere. On a three night stay our key- card failed 3 times. I was told not to put my card near my mobile phone...I didn't keep it near my phone. Cable went out, sending two employees into our room. Friday night parking was overwhelmed, we were told to park in back! A neglected , unlight, rocky patch that was creepy. Worst part, management takes no responsibility.

Room with double beds has the sink outside of the bathroom - bathroom is slightly larger then a porta potty - the continental breakfast was very bad as it had bread, bagel, box cereal and drinks which the orange juice was bad/old during my stay - hardly any channels - they have a \"bullet-proof type\" window at front office so at night time, its the only way to communicate with their staff so it leaves a questionable empression from the start. Stay at the hotel next door to this one - i think its called Comfort Suite - much nicer.

This is not a luxury hotel, but its clean, feels safe, and is a comfortable place for \"just passing through.\" I was kindly supplied with extra non-decaf coffee,which is a must for me.
I did not try the breakfast since I wanted to get on the road, so I can't say anything about that. Overall it was a pleasant stay. Thank you.

The hotel is older but perfect for a short stay. It is very convenient to downtown Dahlonega, less than 2 minutes away. The hotel has all the amenities that you need, and the continental breakfast was great. The Days Inn was great for the price.

Incredibly helpful staff. Ample, well-lit, open parking. Close to town square. Close to other tourist sites. We had a medical emergency while there. The staff, especially Tommy from housekeeping, were there in an instant helping to stabilize the situation, access care, and calm my elderly mother. Her help was absolutely essential to Mom’s comfort and safety.

The overall room appearance meaning furniture and furnishings was fine. However the painting and the caulking all just seemed to be slapped on and the overall appearance was pretty bad. It looked sort of junky and very low quality. I wondered about the cleaning.

The man at the desk was pleasant but very difficult to understand. There were light bulbs blown out and I had to call the front desk to get hot water after it running it on “H” for 12 minutes. He advised me to turn it close to “C” to get hot water. The water was hot but frustrating to get it.

This is a MOTEL, with doors outside and the free breakfast is literally a bar or two and some coffee. The staff was very nice, but the rooms are old. The shower was as clean as an old shower can get, but I would not choose to stay here again. Traveling alone, I prefer to have a hotel where the entrance doors are inside. I wouldn't say it was sketchy, but it was NOT what I was expecting.

Un des pire hôtels qu’on ai fait et pourtant on a énormément voyagé. Dans la première chambre on a trouvé des vers, des araignées mortes un peu partout… l’odeur de cigarette était immonde, les trous dans la baignoire, la tête de douche était encrassé… je ne parle meme pas de la propreté générale de la chambre et de l’hôtel… juste degueulasse. Nous avions notre dog service et ça n’a pas plu au personnel… nous avons contacté expédia qui a négocier de nous changer de chambre… la seconde chambre pas mieux nous avons retrouver des morceaux d’os par terre dans la chambre, du riz partout… sans parler des cheveux et poils sur les serviettes et les drap… et dans les drap des traces jaunes très suspecte, des taches de sang sur les rideaux… et des cafards ! Nous avons demande a expédia de nous changer d’hôtel ils ont jamais voulu car le manager de l’hôtel refusait de nous rembourser ! Nous avons passé un séjour horrible… et pour les parties communes j’espère que vous aimer les araignées qui pendent partout, le Menage absolument pas fait !

Free parking was plentiful. There is a heck of a turn at the entry / exit to the parking lot and traffic moves very fast. Use caution. The female clerk upon check in was very polite but failed to state the hours when breakfast would be available. The hotel did appear to have residents living there on a monthly basis. Once in the room, the shower and the shower curtain were very dirty. The light in the bathroom was very dim. The bathroom was stocked with the worst and roughest toilet paper ever. The area around the hotel was fairly quiet. We didn’t swim, but the outdoor pool looked very clean and well cared for. We tried the free hotel breakfast but it included only bread and muffins with some beverage options. It was not a hot breakfast bar. Luckily, the hotel was conveniently located next to McDonalds. Upon checkout, the male attendant was very rude and seemed annoyed that he had to hang up his cell phone to assist. When I asked for a receipt, he said I’d receive a third-party receipt.

Had an issue with the first room and they were able to switch us to another - second room hot tub leaked when used. Patched walls needing paint and large gaps under doors had us wondering what may slither under in the night.

There were bugs and mosquitos in the room. There was a crack under the door where they were getting in. The mirrors were dirty. The floors had not been swept nor mopped. Several lights would not come on and the blow dryer would not work. Plus the air was not working and we were sweating. The breakfast was nothing like the pictures on the website and the rooms were not either. I was charged $147.89 and the Expedia site said $118. I would not stay again.

The room needed to be swept better. The mattress was hard and very old (the pull-out mattress was old, hard, and dirty). It was 76 degrees in the room when we got in, the AC worked but it took 4 hours for it to cool off. The door latch was broken and useless. There was a sporadic clicking noise coming from a light in the bathroom area. There was very little breakfast. For the price: the cleanliness, lock, and noise could have been better.
