The staff was friendly and helpful. Check-in was easy. The resort is beautiful. Cabins are not on top of each other. It is convenient having the restaurants on the property and we appreciated breakfast being included in the price.
We stayed in Cabin 12. The hot tub was wonderful, the cabin was nice, but we were disappointed in a few things. The price is quite high for the cabin, and we expect things to work. The coffee maker did not work, so we had no coffee our first morning. We got a replacement coffee maker later in the day. The fireplace should have started with a simple turn of the dial on the wall. It was completely shut off. Fortunately, we had some experience with gas fireplaces and got it started, but it took a considerable amount of time. The volume control on tv remote would not work the entire weekend. Suddenly, it worked the morning we left as we signed out of apps. The pillows were very flat. New pillows or additional pillows would be great on a king bed.
Location is great for things in the area. Cabin was clean. Needed some updating and maintenance crew should be certain all items are functioning prior to visitors arriving.

It started off extremely wonderful. We checked in on a Wednesday night late. Breakfast the next two mornings was fabulous in the secret garden room very intimate and the food was exceptional. Which is what I would expect from a resort that charges over 250 a night. However many things were not ok. 1. No hot tub due to state regulations? The hot tub was a deciding factor for booking. 2. Room was out dated in need of repairs(roof, bathroom, deck etc.) 3. They got my reservation all mixed up which then prompted them to start sending me threatening text messages and phone calls about the removal of my belongings. It got sorted however they played it off as nothing. 4. Weekend
breakfast was troff style and very disappointing it was unfinishable left my plate after 2 bites very different from the previous intimate weekday breakfast. You get the gist. I really enjoyed the property itself its very beautiful.

The room needed several repairs: fireplace not working, shelf fell on me in closet, several lamps not working, sink clogged, roaches(dead and alive), mildew in shower, microwave had so much rust, fans had thick layers of dust!! (They tried to send in maintenance on my last day but I refused cause it was my last day to have peace and quiet)

The room felt more like a motel, lighting in the room was poor. You could feel the coils in the matress, the room was super old dated. The carpet was sticky. The property has potential but they need major renovations. We will not be staying there again.

We had a great stay! We were into for a family wedding which was held at another spot. This resort was only 13 miles from the wedding. We stayed in the treeetopper lodge. The beds were comfortable, the room was clean and the staff were friendly. This was our first time and we will definitely return when we can stay longer. There are many amenities we didn’t have time to experience.

This is NOT a luxury resort as advertised. It is more like a motel six with separate buildings. The rooms are fine If you just need a place to stay but do NOT expect it to be a place to do things or that it's cozy. The buildings are very old and they have replaced some sinks and possibly the generic carpet, parts of the siding and stairs . What you should expect is a crappy stay away camp you went to as a kid. The breakfast was worse than the rooms The first cup and then the second, third, forth and so on were absolutely gross with crusted food and coffee still in them. The food was completely cold and inedible. I booked this as a 2 night mother daughter trip thinking it would be a nice getaway. As soon as we pulled into the property I was worried. I ended up leaving early , was told they would refund me for the second night and got an email saying they won't. The people in the office were talking about how they updated it so much. I cannot imagine what it was before. I sound snotty and entitled but this was FALSELY advertised. I spoke with another guest and they were just as disappointed and glad they had only stayed for one night.

Great room, felt private. Lovely electric fireplace only negative is decaf coffee was not offered in room or at breakfast-- being pregnant and loving coffee, that was unfortunate. Breakfast could have benefitted from yogurt/granola option. Also more outdoor lighting in parking lots would be helpful. Had to hold hubby's hand a lot at night over the uneven/slopey spots due to not being able to see. Gym was definitely lacking. Needed some TLC. Looked like it hadn't been serviced in some time.

Staff was wonderful, especially Shay! Informative, friendly, and made us feel like family. Rooms were very clean and comfortable, only suggestion is to update the spring mattress. Breakfast was good but repetitive, maybe change up the choices. Horseback riding on site was amazing and our guide Grace was fantastic! Only complaint was Thanksgiving dinner, it was overpriced and food was terrible and cold. Overall we will definitely be back!

This resort is definitely rustic. The bathroom has been remodeled and the room is spacious. It has yucky stained carpeting in the rooms and hallways, which is unappealing. The coffee maker downstairs is a very old model that guests have to make on their own. Not sure who is cleaning it? We stayed 3 nights and our room wasn’t serviced or towels changed. The breakfast buffet is decent and included.

The registration staff was very nice! I had reserved 2 rooms and forgot one was in my daughters name! The rooms are very large and the beds are comfy. They have a large living, dining, kitchen common room and we were able to watch the Georgia football game! They have a free breakfast but there were a lot of guests so we did not eat. It seems to be an older facility but we were happy with it.
