It was a very nice stay. It's a pretty small property but you'll have what you need. I appreciate the fact that there's an elevator and an ice machine on each floor. The rooms were mostly clean. There was some hidden trash on the floor in the corners of the bed and chair from previous guests. We did not use the Heater or Air Conditioner so I can't speak to how that worked. The beds were comfy and the hotel is close to the center of town so I'd stay here again.

Plenty of great hot and cold breakfast options but orange juice was out. Although not downtown, it was quiet and convenient location so we could drive anywhere within minutes. No amenities really but we weren’t there to stay at the hotel except to sleep. The exterior appeared average but the room was in excellent condition and housekeeping services were excellent. Basically, you can’t go wrong with any Dahlonega hotel but you can save a little here and have all you need. I’d definitely come back here.

Look up and the stucco ceiling has a design and is in good shape! (I like stucco ceilings that are done well). I would definitely stay here again. Excellent choice when on a budget.

Michael at the front desk is the best!! I am not able to climb stairs and he did adjust my room to the first level!!! The rooms was spotless. The best part was their tv service, great channel selections and their remotes easy to navigate. Breakfast the usual items, but good. REally enjoyed all of it!!!

Booked King room. Was given a double. Went to the front desk, she changed us to a king room. Went to the second room, hair and dirt in the bed. Went to the front desk she gave us another room. Went to the 3rd room other guest were already in that room. Went to front desk, she assigned 4th room. Went to that room it was okay, or so we thought... we were exhausted after our 7 hour drive and dinner in town so we went to bed at 8 PM, went to sleep, and was awakened by someone trying to get into our room around 10:30 PM. These guest were assigned our room. Lucky that bar lock was engaged. Afterwards we couldn't go back to sleep. Do not stay here if you need/value your sleep

I honestly cannot understand how this property has received positive reviews about cleanliness or condition. The lamps, chairs, and furniture were dirty, rusty, and in very poor shape. Everything felt neglected and unhygienic.
I’m truly sorry to write such a negative review, but I want to be honest so that other travelers don’t go through the same disappointment. I trusted the high ratings and positive comments, but my experience was completely different.

This hotel area is fine. Dahlonega is a quiet town. It’s easy to get in and out of. Front parking is minimal. There is plenty of parking in the back but what is unfortunately about having a room in the front but parking in the back, their elevator is broken. So we had to climb 4 flights of stairs in the back but only 2 flights in the front of the building.
The rooms need redone. Badly. Very outdated. Shower head with weak water pressure, the water from the sink with spider, dirt in the corners of door frames, and stains on towels.
Cleanliness was manageable to an extent I guess. Except for the dead stink bug in the corner.

Out of all the jobs that are required of a hotel, a fresh and correct room is the first of their job. Leaving us with a terrible impression from the start.

We didn't think about ability to view the fireworks from our room but were pleasantly surprised when it started as we stood on the balcony for the whole display. Could not have planned this if I wanted. Pool looked well prepared and was used by some but not crowded. One night there were several dogs heard barking but it was not too long.
