The only water available was in a vending machine that didn't work properly and was coin only. Not very convenient. The bathroom was nice and clean but the towel hook was missing, the soaps were really good and full too. The lamps didn't function properly and the plug ins by the beds and desk were completely worn out and useless. The hotel seemed like it needed some maintenance.

I recently stayed for three nights at Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Winnipeg Airport, and unfortunately, the experience was quite underwhelming.

The room felt dated and in need of an update. One of the biggest issues was the pillows—they were square rather than standard size and very uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep.

Although we booked a suite with a kitchen, it was not properly equipped. There were very limited dishes available—only two small bowls in the cabinet—which made the space impractical to use. Cleanliness was also a concern; for example, the toaster had visible fingerprints and did not appear to have been cleaned.

Breakfast was included, which is appreciated, but the selection remained exactly the same each day: eggs, roasted potatoes, pork sausages, cereal, and porridge. While the options were decent, a bit of variety over a three-day stay would have made a difference.

Overall, the stay was disappointing due to the lack of comfort, cleanliness, and attention to detail. With some updates and better upkeep, this hotel could offer a much better experience.

The provided free breakfast was excellent with some hot offerings like hash browns sausage and scrambled eggs. Coffee was available 24/7 which was also nice. The rooms were nice and parking was plentiful. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all very nice to deal with i would definitely stay here again

Clean rooms, beds were a little firm but we brought a topper which is fine for us. Nice and quiet the couches were a little dated and worn out in the room but it was a good stay and the vlts in the hotel were fun to play. Would defintely stay there again.

The breakfast was sketchy at best. Eggs were lukewarm, and sausages were lukewarm and greasy. The coffee machine was empty, and no staff (including the front desk) could be located to replenish the supply. Lets not forget to mention the burnt muffins and the brown fruit salad. Appetizing, not really
Lack of staff is an obvious issue, lack of care from front desk staff was glaringly obvious. The only saving grace from this mess was a security guard who was friendly and extremely helpful. The elevators were filthy with chip crumbs and wrappers littering it. Water on the floor from the pool to the elevator caused a slip of an older woman (didn't fall, fortunately)
I would never stay in your hotel again, it was gravely disappointing. It is obvious there are issues here, and not even your staff cares.

Booked for my mom, room was paid for and the staff wouldn’t let her check in and they were very rude on top of it.
I mean even if they have policies, they didn’t have to be so rude to my mom her partner and my nephews.

We booked a king accessible suite. When we checked into the hotel the front desk agent confirmed we needed the accessible suite - I said yes (my disabled husband was still making his way inside) When we got to the room and opened the door we realized it was a standard 2 queen bed suite. After just confirming we needed the room we booked - accessible king - we went to talk to the front desk agent. This is when she decides to inform us they have oversold their rooms. I asked why that wasn’t communicated at check in and didn’t even get an apology. The staff needs training in what accessibility is because just fitting a wheelchair through the door does not
Equal accessible. The washroom was extremely hard to use with no accessible features and the shower was impossible. No apologies, they blamed Expedia and said “we can see what we can do for a discount” over 24 hours later and I have not received an emailed receipt as promised and my credit card statement shows no discount either. Be careful if you need accessible rooms. This hotel does not respect disabilities. Had I known before checking in
I would have checked other hotels in the area, but nope they surely wanted to secure our payment first.

I travel a lot in an around the Winnipeg Airport hotels and this one I would say overall is a 3 1/2 because it’s starting to show it’s where and the beds are not as comfortable as a Hilton, but the staff were very friendly

We had a king suite which had plenty of room
The staff were very accommodating of our extra request for additional bedding and towels

The continental breakfast was your essentials with the eggs, actually decent and normal tasting hot sausage and potatoes with a couple of choices of cereal, breads, yogurt, and waffle station

The pool is a bit smaller and the slide not as tall as we were expecting, but the kids had fun and the gym is basic

The only odd part was the lounge/VLT area for people coming in going that weren’t necessarily staying at the hotel

The location was very convenient off of berry near Wellington

For the price it was poor condition. I prebooked so didn't realize. The room wasn't ready when i arrived at 5. For 225 plus tax it wasn't great. The shower didn't work properly. The pool was great but other than that, it wasn't good. I might not have left a review if i paid much much less.

Our family enjoyed the pool, especially the slide. Unfortunately the water was a bit colder than we would have liked, but that didn't stop us from swimming.

The hotel main areas and room felt dirty - floors were mopped but felt a little sticky. The dining tables in ghe breakfast area had been wiped down but still felt sticky. The main washroom off the lobby was not clean and we were thankful to find our room washroom in better condition.

The beds were comfortable and clean. The heating unit in our room worked well, and we appreciated the clean fridge.

The room felt small and we just barely fit our luggage and baby playpen.

Not our favorite place to stay - but it was a good night's sleep.

Compared to other places I have stayed the breakfast was ok.. would have been nice to have a bit more selection. More fruit maybe hard boiled eggs. Individual oatmeal packs.
The hotel rooms seemed a bit run down.. broken drawers , bed linen ripped. Ice machine is only on main floor which is slightly inconvenient.

This is a basic hotel; the common areas are quite dated and the rooms need a little maintenance. However the staff were just lovely, welcoming and helpful, and they have a very convenient arrangement with a local taxi company that serves as their shuttle. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable.

I filled out the pre checkin online to speed up coming in, but on arrival I had to go through the whole process again. So it was a waste of time. I didn’t bother to try checking out online.

The hotel is ok. Reasonably clean and the beds were comfortable. Some renovations to update would be nice.

There were alot of shady looking characters smoking outside the front door and some inside which gave a rather intimidating atmosphere. Some had been noticeably tipsy to say the least.

We did not receive the room we booked.
The thermostat in the room did not function.
The heater under the window has to be turned on with switch on the plug and not the control panel. This heaters' thermostat also was faulty, when turned on the heater ran at maximum output until unplugged.
The toilet had issues with running constantly.
The occupants on the floor above us were extremely noisy most of the night between slamming doors, moving furniture, and jumping on the floors.
We were not impressed.
The staff were friendly and attempted to help, but seemed overworked.

The staff was burning toast in the lobby in the morning, which set off the smoke alarms in the whole building at 9:00AM. We grabbed our bags and went down the stairs to the lobby when 4 firetrucks showed up to turn off the alarms and then left. When i asked for a refund she said no problem, but was lying and never got a refund on the room.

Cleaning ladies were very noisy, talking in their own language despite having our DO NOT DISTURB sign on our door! Had wanted to sleep in a bit esp on Sat am! Room was either too hot or too cold. Couldn't set it to odd number temps eg it had to be either 70 or 68 or 66 or 64 not 65 or 67 or 69 degrees. Poor selection of shows on TV - too much sports, not enough family friendly shows or movies for eg. Need to flip the mattresses!! Sagging where people have repeatedly slept. Woke up with a SORE+++ back!! & pillows were all too soft! Big long black hair on the bathmat then fell off onto the floor. When first entered our room after checkin, there was a candy wrapper right in front of our door into our room. Stayed there for the 2 nights we were there despite the cleaning ladies cleaning rooms near ours! No recycling bins in the rooms or on premises for pop or water bottles etc that we could see! Clerk at checkin was friendly & helpful re our reservation & needs. We were surprised that they took down the Christmas decorations on Jan. 1st! They weren't aware that Ukrainian & other Orthodox faiths celebrate Christmas & New Years on Jan 7 & 14 respectively. We thought it was a bit soon removing them on Jan 1st!

Here’s a smoother, more polished rewording while keeping the concerns clear:

It felt like guests were concentrated in one area, which led to a lot of hallway traffic despite the hotel not being full. There was a noticeable cigarette smell in the hallways, and it was unavoidable when entering or exiting the building. Considering these issues, the price should have been significantly lower. The lobby was not very clean, though the room itself was acceptable.
