Pool was very nice and had deep end for adults. Hot tub was good only thing is that when I was there it was closed for 2 out of the 3 days I stayed for cleaning. Breakfast was nice they have better stuff on the weekends such as a waffle maker and biscuits. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Property was clean and well maintained. Only 2 things I had issues with was the hot tub taking so long to get cleaned and it was very hot on the 3rd level of the hotel. Other than that my stay was amazing and I would definitely come back as long as the hot tub is working :)

Very much a no-frills hotel. Has all of the expected amenities. The building exterior is a bit dated and we noticed some staining on the bedding and shower curtains, but nowhere near concerning enough to report.

The breakfast was hit and miss. The biscuits were great, but only served on the weekend.

The pool and jacuzzi were cool and the staff was super friendly. A good budget option overall.

I would have given a better review however I choose my hotel based upon availability of a hot tub after traveling across the country. One hotel listed that their hot tub was out of service for this week so I went with this hotel. Sadly, we got checked in and wanted to relax in the hot tub and found it was not working. When I questioned the front desk, they said it had to be repaired. But when the remote control for the TV did not work, they came right up with a new one.

Check-in was easy and fast, lady was friendly. Hotel was pretty clean. We were not there long but it worked well for an overnight for a family of 5. Pool was big and warm. My biggest complaint would be that I didn’t choose a pool side room but our room door still opened up to the pool just up one level. So hockey families were up late yelling at the packer game (in pool area) and kids were sprinting down the halls and I tried to get my 3 kids to bed for an early morning gymnastics competition. I didn’t see a single staff member by the pool or in the hallway once. I understand it’s hard to control but a little presence in the hallway would’ve helped. Also, the description of the room was a little unclear pretty much all rooms open up to the pool area.

I was so disappointed in the condition of everything. Elevator super small. Dirty rusty pool area with some broken tile (filthy). We booked here because we had such a pleasant experience at the Wyndham we stayed in in Iowa. Never again st this location. Very scary and I am not exaggerating.

The distance to the breakfast area was an extremely long way. Upon arrival in that area, it was cold. I understand Wisconsin in the winter, but this was ridiculous. Unless one was seated next to a heating duct it was cold. By the time i made my plate of breakfast and got seated, and had to get back up to microwave my plate. That wasn't a good experience at all. That's for young people and young people only. The distance for parking, your room, and anything that you wished to do was overwhelming.
However, the staff was nice. The room was clean. There weren't a shower curtain but they got that very quickly.
It's a huge complex. If i would have known, i would have went elsewhere

Beds were dirty, had to bring pillows to front desk to be exchanged, comforter had mascara all over it. Pool was COLD, Hot tub didnt work. They had people vaping by the pool. Pool was dirty and full of hair floating every where. There was food all over the floor in the pool area from birthday and holiday parties. Pool area was not cleaned the whole time we were there. Pool area gets locked at night which I understand, but there was no where to sit outside the room if you are awake before others in the room. Couldn't go to lobby area because there is only 3 chairs to sit on and they usually had someone sitting in them complaining about personal/work life at an unbelievable volume and is located right by a cold door. The place constantly smelled of marijuana. Breakfast was ok, they could use another waffle maker. There is only one. You had to wait forever in line for a waffle. Otherwise food was what you would expect. Area was kept clean and stocked. I can honestly say if we are in the area again we will not choose this hotel. One of the reasons we chose this one was because of the poolside rooms they are hard to find. But was very disappointed in this stay.

Disappointed. Room was dirty, layer of dust behind tv, stain on the side of the mattress, fridge was not level and rocked, coffee maker was dirty/hard water stains (we cleaned it to be able to use). The pool area had peeling paint, clumps of hair on the walking surface that surround the pool, the jets in the hot tub did not work, dirty carpets, and just in need of a serious remodel and upgrade. Also front desk was often left unattended with sign to use the phone to call them.
The breakfast buffet was actually nice. Food was hot and fresh.

The staff was courteous and helpful. When I asked for an extra blanket, they brought one up to the room. The poolside room was very quiet once you shut the door. As far as cleanliness, they forget to dust next to the little refrigerator and the bottom shelf of the cabinet between the beds. The only other thing is if you’re going to have 12 inch mattresses you need deep pocket sheets, so they don’t come off in the middle of the night. all in all a good stay.

It’s smelly in spots and could benefit from better cleaning in others. We went downtown to the Whiskey Ranch for dinner and that was excellent!

Our sheets were stained with someones baby juice, the white warm kind, half smoked newports on the floor by the bed, could've get the tv to switch inputs so we could use our firestick. Pool was fine hit tub was ok. We went to bed at 11pm to screaming kids that were running up and down the hallway knocking on random doors all night. We woke upto the same individuals fighting with other guests about who knows what, someone eventually got assaulted and the police were called. We were just looking for an inexpensive hotel with a pool for the kids to swim. We learned a valuable lesson, spend the extra money to avoid the human trash that cheap hotels attract. I'm surprised know was shot. This place was full of White trash and gangbangers. Never ever again! The staff was nice enough

The room was very outdated and set up in a very unorganized manner. There were people arguing in the hallway almost all night. The hallways were very dingy and lacking cleanliness. I could hear cars squealing their tires and reving their engines all night. The bed was hard and lumpy. I will never stay again especially after such a high price for something so degraded.

Where to start? The most positive about this place was Angel who checked us in. She was professional and welcoming. Our room was clean as well. Nice large pool. Now for the negatives. The back entry where we were told to park was sketchy. Every time we went out the same people were loitering around that made us feel unsafe. Not normal behavior for someone staying. No, they weren’t just outside for a smoke. We both had uneasy feelings so moved our car to the front. The pillows are like thick rocks! Worse we have had on this trip. Lastly, the breakfast. While it is a typical hotel buffet, there was no one tending it. There was extremely loud music in the employee area. The pancake maker was empty. A patron pounded on the door several times to get some help. No one ever came out to check on the food. This is the only hotel where I have seen a tip jar for the breakfast server. Tacky. I may have considered a tip if the person showed their face or provided some service. Overall, I would NOT stay here again if I was in the area.

The indoor pool takes up the entire atrium area which all rooms face.. Arrived around 7pm, a million kids screaming and running around banging on our door until after 10pm, incredibly noisy. Terrible place to go unless youre going there with your kids and you dont want to supervise your kids.

Excellent value in a retro setting

Bit of a retro vibe, this place has a 70's feel or earlier. The rooms are very spacious with a comfortable sofa as well as a king sized bed with a really good mattress. A small refrigerator and microwave helped supplement the coffeemaker. The room appeared rather dark due to the covered pool area on one side and the smaller window on the other as well as the heavy use of dark wood, again lending to the earlier decade decor. Pool appeared clean and inviting, but the spa did not live up to the pool's sparkle and I saw no one attempt to use it. The bathroom is miniscule (the door can't even open fully with the newer elongated toilet), but the shower was fine. Breakfast was varied and good, with hot items surpassing many continental breakfasts offered at other places. The bar was friendly and cozy with more retro vibe videos and staff that fit right in. Very comfortable and spacious as long as you are not looking for super modern and upscale. Excellent value for your money overall.
