The dirtiest and worst maintained of any hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Holes in the walls, peeling paint, gaps under the door, locks in disrepair, extremely dim lighting, broken lamp shades, etc. Bed was comfortable and thankfully looked clean, and direct tv was nice but would not recommend overall. Pictures online were quite misleading.

2 guys motorcycling to California along the coast. Let’s be honest, this isn’t a 5 star location yet it was clean and tidy and quiet with a free continental breakfast. Beds were comfortable. Stayed there last time and this time. I’ll stay again when I’m out that way. Recommended if you don’t need fancy schmancy.

So. Many. Homeless. I got woken up at 2:00 am by some homeless people shouting at one another outside my room. There's an alley that runs behind the Travelodge that homeless love to hang out in. The place was decently well kept, but otherwise it was a pretty poor experience. Oh, paper-thin walls, btw. I got woken up at 6:30 by a couple who decided to start before checking out in the floor below me.

I booked a room at this particular hotel in Aberdeen, Washington, knowing that there were limited choices for my three-day business stay. I selected Travelodge honestly because of the name - typically, Wyndam does a good job and Travelodge usually provides a decent, business class room without a lot of fuss and flair for a decent price. This is more of a motel, like a has-been business class place trying to be an upscale Motel 6. The facility itself is old and it shows both in style and condition. It is loud and not overly comfortable. It's clear that money was spent on an update to make the place more modern and to match other similarly named facilities, but that was at least ten years ago and much has not aged well. Broken countertops, damaged doors, and unworking or overly aged appliances and electrics abound. The toilet seat was fully broken; the TV remote did not work for the TV (but only for the satellite box), and there was one small trash can by the entry door, and more. Little things like that add up. The on-site staff was friendly, and to the credit housekeeping, the room was very clean - if only maintenance could have been kept up. I felt as though the place might have been able to be something, but instead, should have been featured on an episode of CSI. Next time, I'll spend a little less and stay somewhere better.

What sketchy place! Lots of people standing around like they’re waiting for someone or something. Very loud night including a couple a screaming at each other at 3:00 and 4:00 in the morning and no room phone to call the police or the front desk. The front desk didn’t seem to care or respond. It felt a bit scary. I would have asked for a refund but I just wanted out of there as fast as possible.

They put me in the wrong room I paid extra for the 1 king bed and they out me into a 2 queen without telling me, There were people smoking and I could smell it all threw out the night we left during the day so we didn't have to deal with it and they refused to refund or partially refund because I paid cash this was a terrible experience will not be staying here again

It felt like a roach motel, the rooms need updating. The free breakfast was a joke, individual mini donuts! The parking lot was crammed and difficult to park any vehicle bigger than a small SUV. It was a place to sleep and clean up, but not great for a vacation type stay.

Lamp shade had holes in it. Shear curtains severely ripped, electrical plug unsafe, maid service only every 3 days, only 1 hanger available for 2 guests in the room, not enough eggs at breakfast. Only 5 eggs were served even though a trip to Costco the night before. VERY difficult to open front door. Front Desk Clerk had to open it. Wrote 3 page letter to Corporate with photos.

Definitely didn’t feel safe around the property. Lots of drugs going on around town and when I walked out to let my dog go outside to use the bathroom a guy was going back and forth talking to 2 trees definitely was a site to see. I’m from a small town and don’t see this kind of stuff.

Night staff was great, morning staff was eh. Housekeeping was extremely rude. I had a noon checkout, but Housekeeping was POUNDING on my door at 10am wanting to clean my room. The bathroom light didn’t work and the bathroom was pitch black. Showering was fun… they’re lucky I didn’t slip and break a hip in the dark. I told the front desk TWICE that the light was out, they said they’d send maintenance at 8am. Maintenance never came, hence the showering in the dark. No apologies, no give a care, nothing from the desk staff. I requested a call from the manager, it never came. Will never stay here again.

Everything was fine but your breakfast was awful and showed a complete lack of concern for your customers that are paying over $100 a night. The food was old fashioned and not healthy. Just really bad. The presentation was horrible. It looked like you didn’t want to do it but somebody made you. Everybody felt that way the morning I was there and I’m sure it is the same feeling every day.

The staff in the office was very helpful.
They gave me ice when I discovered the ice machine didn’t work.
Like many older hotels, there is no elevator to get to the second floor.
They need to pressure wash the steps and walkways and move the cigarette stations from the upstairs walkway as the stench permeates the entire area.

This motel appears to have no sound insulation. The noises from both side rooms plus upstairs and outside were all heard clearly. The noises started around 10PM and continued into the very early hours of the morning. The shouting noise in the parking area went unchecked and caused us to cancel our second night. We don't know if staff was unaware or just ignored it.

There was a women clearly under the influence of something outside our room all night long. The couple staying next door are monthly tenants. The cops were called early in the morning because of them. The house keeping staff is amazing and I feel terrible for them and the people they have to clean up after!!!!

The people were nice. The sheets were pretty clean, except for a couple hairs found. The pillows were like half pillows which were really weird. They were super small and hard. Super uncomfortable. There was no comforter either, just a couple of sheets. So I was pretty cold. The walls were dingy and there was a weird carpet shelf I didn’t want to touch. We knew we booked a 2 star because we were only there for 1 night. We could hear the people above us pretty easily.

The room was clean but three factors made my evening difficult. The light on the desk was out and the other lights were too far away so I couldn't see to work at the desk. The blanket on the bed was very thin and I froze. Third was the fact that I couldn't find the phone number to the front office to report any of these conditions. I finally took the blanket off the bed and doubled it. That was better.

Great room*, comfortable beds, clean, quiet - good shower/bathroom set up, and big TV. Would come back to that room again.
*They have nice room pics and not so nice room pics. I specifically asked for a room that would match the 'nice room' pics on expedia. So was moved to a different room. Because of this, the new room had not been warmed up, so was freezing upon entry. Minor inconvenience.
Honestly, a hotel/motel should not SHOW nice rooms online to get you to book and then bait and switch customers. Update all your rooms.

I really liked the front desk staff. This place needs upgraded. Alot of homeless hangs out in this area. Even coming to doors knocking to beg. We felt people were shady that stayed there. We think price was reasonable. No room service during the weekend. Was a bit taken back on this property other property of this name have been alot nicer. Also it served breakfast which contained you make your own waffle, bread, muffins fruit cereal milk juice, coffee toppings be butter, syrup and jelly. I think more hot item would be nice eggs bacon or sausage gravy over muffins etc im thinking the rooms need update and cleaned better. Our wall molding was disgusting.

I've stayed in the summer with no issues. In the winter the bathroom is freezing because there is no source of heat. The heater is under the front window so to get the bathroom warm the room gets too warm. I had a single bed so maybe the larger rooms are different. Also there are no hairdryers. The breakfast offered is just OK. But the price is good.

A lot wrong with rooms and the maintenance. Clogged toilet and the maintenance guy couldn’t unclog so they switched me rooms. Then new room, only access to 1 tv channel and staff couldn’t help effectively so they switched me rooms yet again. Thought maybe I’d get some kind of credit for my stay or discount but nothing. Staff at front were great and were trying to be helpful but it’s just a cheap hotel that needs upgrades is all.

Old motel befitting an old forgotten town

This place befits the character of the town of Aberdeen…just a pass through. This facility is really dated despite some interior attempts to update it. The place has a moldy musty smell and the door has bandaid repairs the lock. Does not look like it is fully closed and exterior noise is clearly audible. When the room comes with instructions to operate the tv and shower is a telltale sign that things require a bit more effort beyond expectations. The tv was a challenge and I gave up trying to get it to work. The exterior of the place could use some upkeeps. The stairs has moss growing that made it slippery when wet. My hiking shoes slipped a couple steps while navigating down. Definitely a hazard to be aware of.

The non-smoking room reeked of smoke and had been covered up with Febreeze to hide the scent. We felt so sick by the morning that we got up early and left hours before we had planned to. The breakfast was very meager. The room was really quite dirty. We spilled water on the floor and put down a white towel to soak it up. When we picked it up the towel was TOTALLY brown and gross from the carpet! Door jam had been busted through and potentially bullet holes in the wall???

The staff was great, very friendly. I was there mainly for the convenience of distance from where I was visiting. The room itself was clean and well put together, minus traces of black mold along the bathroom window, probably caused by condensation, since there's no fan in the bathroom. The air conditioner's dials were missing, too. Made it really hard to adjust the temperature. All in all, it was a good stay, though.
