Breakfast was very good. Front office staff was very nice!! The room however was terrible. The floors were dirty and slippery. There was dirt and dead bugs all over!! There were not enough towels to accommodate us in the bath and the microwave area. The beds were very uncomfortable. We were scheduled to stay 3 nights and had to leave after 2 nights. They stated we were get a refund of the 3rd night. I asked if we would be compensated for all the issues we dealt with in the room. She was going to see what she could do. We have stayed there many times before and will again. We never expected how things were.

This motel was decent and clean but there were a few concerns which the staff was instrumental in assisting with options. The first room I was given didn’t have a safety latch on the door nor did the volume on the tv work. The front desk gal attempted to fix the tv but had to move me since the tv wasn’t working and since I was traveling alone, I didn’t feel safe without a safety feature on the door. The bed was comfortable compared to many other places I have stayed including higher end hotels, so that was nice! Convenient location right off the freeway and next to a gas station with a mini mart. Breakfast was decent as well.

I didn’t realize that it’s right next to the railroad tracks which was very loud in the middle of the night. The room had a strange odor. The plug in for bathroom didn’t work so I had to plug my hair dryer in the bedroom and didn’t have a mirror. For $120 it was not somewhere I would stay again. It is very dated. The breakfast was good and the staff was friendly.

My 1st room was not cleaned. Dirty towels left on bathroom floor. But the front staff was amazing and moved me to another room. Breakfast was not warm maybe the warmer isn’t working right. I stay every year at this time and every time it was 5 star. Not so much this year. I do have to commend the front desk they were great.

First red glad was the check in ladies bra sticking out of an extremely low cut shirt with a cigarette and lighter sticking out. (How classy huh?)
the first room was actually ok but the tv didn’t work and when we got moved we were put in a room I’m not sure they were supposed to. It was filthy and couldn’t smell anything over the smell of cigarette smoke… in a NON SMOKING motel.

This place should be your last resort. The front desk staff was inefficient resulting in an unnecessarily long wait. Our room was outdated and had worn-out rugs and stained, dirty-looking chairs. In addition, furnishings, with dressers, side tables, and bath fixtures all appearing significantly worn down. The bed linens, both sheets and pillowcases, were all wrinkled as if someone slept in them. We wondered if they had been freshly laundered. The motel is outdated with very thin walls, so you hear TVs and conversations from nearby rooms and outside. Furthermore, the motel is located right next to a railroad. While the train runs sporadically, there is a nightly 2 AM train coming through town accompanied by blaring horns, making it impossible to have a restful sleep.
Lastly, we had a chuckle with this but, there was a sign in the bathroom warning of a $25 charge for missing or stained towels. Who would steal already thin and worn condition towels from the room?

The staff was really nice. The bathroom however did not appear to get cleaned. Still a used bar of soap, and partially used shampoo, and a dirty towel!! Crumbs in the mini fridge and the microwave was also dirty.
The beds were pretty good.
THE TRAIN...I know I read one or two reviews that mentioned the train but didn't realize it was a literally a thrown stone away from the hotel.
The breakfast was nice to have. Biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs and sausage. The also have bagels and breads along with cereal. Juice, milk and coffee but not water from what I could tell (not a big deal).
I probably won't stay again on account of the uncleaned shower and the train.

Having multiple trains pass 150 feet from my room at night was not good, otherwise, I was mostly satisfied. Being handicapped, it was easy to get from car to room and dining was close, even with my walker, I could walk to dining. The power outlets were totally worn out where I needed to power my medical equipment. I found a couple that seemed safe. Bad power outlets are a fire hazzard. It is pretty common to find worn out power outlets in rooms, but accessible rooms where medical equipment needs reliable power should get more attention to replacing them.

We stayed here previously due to it's convenience.to the highway However this time encountered a few inconveniences. The TV remote in the first room we were placed did not work at all. They couldn't fix it so moved us to another room. The remote in the new room worked EXCEPT for turning on and off & turning the sound up and down, so we had to control from back of the TV. The housekeeper didn't seem to check our room daily so we had to asked the front desk for towels, coffee and emptying the waste baskets. The front desk people were very accommodating and helpful. This may seem trivial to some who read this, but we were there for 6 nights. On a high note the room we stayed in was very large and well appointed. The price was reasonable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I think the issue here may be with the upper management not making sure everything worked as it should and staff had to deal with issues by themselves without much help. The price was treasonable and the rooms were clean. Also a great WiFi and breakfasts were typical fare but good.

Not a great experience

One of the worst stays on our family trip.
We had somebody stay in a room next to us that must have been on drugs. Playing extremely load music all night long so that even the use of ear plugs helped much.
Called the reception and was told it must be one of the \"workers\" and they would try to talk to them but nothing changed.
Also the location next to the train tracks doesn't help but thats on me for not noticing when i booked.
Employees were nice and breakfast reasonable.
But because of not being able to sleep I would never book again.

The rooms were clean and they are huge. Staff was really friendly and the front desk is staffed 24/7, which is unusual for non-chain hotels in this county. Your experience here will 100% depend on your fellow travelers. If you have someone noisy next to you, with rowdy kids and loud TV - you're not going to like your stay. If you have neighbors who comprehend the idea hotel walls are thin, you're going to have a good stay.

My best advice is to bring earplugs. With earplugs in, this was a perfectly clean and convenient place to stay.

The room was filthy. There was stuff spilled on and in the fridge and inside microwave. There was used coffee in the pot. Stains all over the floor. The enamel was worn off the toilet seat and tub. We laid our own blanket down on top of bed and slept on top with no pillow and left without showering as soon as daylight was up. There was alot of noise outside of window. I cant find how to post pictures but I have them.

We were a group of 4 young women. We had a pleasant one-night stay, but my greatest compliment will be to the staff, and their honesty! An hour after we cehcked out and left I received a call from the place saying they found a wallet in our room - that belonged to one of us girls. We didn't want to miss our day trip, so we went back at night to get the wallet, and they kept it safe. Thank you again!

The hotel, for the most part, was quiet in the way of a Pacific Northwestern small town, until trains came through on the nearby track.
The hotel is older, and has changed hands a few times, but the staff was wonderfully friendly and truly concerned that everything they had control of was just right.
Too bad they had no control of the freight trains. A train enthusiast will probably love a stay here.

There was nothing to like about this property. The room smelled terrible. Really terrible. So much stank that I bought an extra-large citronella candle at a nearby store and set it, (unlit) in front of the air conditioner, which helped somewhat. I think the carpet is the main problem because (I swear) it seemed almost sticky.
