I had a terrible experience here . At first the room seemed nice but eventually we saw there are coach-roaches that came out in the shower and in the closet where the clothes were . The house keeping did not clean the room they just make the dirty bed with the same sheets and gave new towels. The floors were not cleaned or bathrooms. They have a major bug problem. I had to leave early because I couldn’t take it . I tried to explain the issue but there was a language barrier. The bed was very hard and the ac dripped pools of water on the floor , and made very loud cracking noises. I have called to get my money back and I’m getting the runaround.

Our stay at Hotel Perola was overall great. Our first day in our assigned room we noticed the bathroom had a leak from the toilet, we told the front desk staff and they were more than happy to help. They sent a technician to check it out. In the end, they ended up upgrading us to a suite and we were very grateful. Overall cleaninless was decent, however the curtains in the room were a bit dirty and either require a good deep clean or new curtains altogether. The staff, especially Josiene the receptionist, was absolutely lovely, breakfast was tasty, as well as dinner options, and the views were great!

The only thing that we didn’t like were the rooms. The doors didn’t lock, they were fixed and next day same issue was happening, so we just gave up on complaining. The shower has a bump and if you step on it you can feel it going down, some humidity problems in the ceiling too and wifi would stop working sometimes. Overall the staff was always very nice and helpful, lovely team, and the rest of the facilities were very nice as well.

For me, it was the best hotel I've ever stayed at in Praia City. All the staff were friendly, from the reception to the room cleaning staff. They were always attentive to me. I loved the experience and I'll be back next year.

Excellent hotel! The staff is very friendly and extremely accommodating with our needs. The location is 10 mins from airport and 15 min walk to beach. The food at the hotel restaurant is authentic Cape Verdean cuisine. Delicious! I would highly recommend staying at this hotel when in Praia.

Nice hotel in quiet city

Nice hotel with clean room. Only thing is that the windows in room are tiny and you hardly get any sun light into the room. Breakfast was nice and had lot of options. I was supposed to have airport pick up, but nobody from hotel was waiting me at airport, so picked up a regular taxi, same price as hotel pick up.
Location is ok, you can walk to the old town. Wifi was fast and hotel looks very stylish. Would probably return to the same hotel, if coming back to Cabo Verde.

This sleek business hotel near the central Plateau district lives up to its high reviews on Tripadvisor. Combine modern furnishings, tasteful minimalist decor, a delicious breakfast buffet with plenty of variety, strong A/C, and a beautiful outdoor pool and you have one of Praia’s most comfortable business hotels. The only downside? The walls in the rooms are bare with no wall art - there are beautiful artworks and photographs in the hallways and common areas, but the walls in the rooms are begging for decor. Other than this, the hotel was perfect! I’d recommend it in a heartbeat.

The hotel has excellent conditions. The rooms are very clean with air conditioning. It is a great place to stay if you're travelling for work, as WiFi works quite well and there are rooms for meetings. The staff was really friendly and considerate. The localisation is great, within walking distance to the beach and to the historical centre.

This hotel has excellent staff, always very pleasant and ready to help you. The location is great as well as it is equidistant from both a very nice beach and area - Kebra Canela, shopping and a fine restaurant Vintia and from Plateau a tourist area and old part of town and down below the Sucupira market. Right outside of the hotel you can either take the bus or taxis which are always coming by to take you anywhere if walking is not your forte. Across from the hotel you will see in development the Ilheu - small island which will have a casino, shoppping, etc. and to the right and already going up a big hotel.
The hotel has an excellent full breakfast - variety of fresh fruit, baking goods, bacon eggs, etc and the traditional protein rich catchupa. The coffee regular american or expresso is excellent too. The restaurant however is a bit expensive, although their chef's shrimp cacerole was excellent - very tasty sauce! Enjoy your stay!

Overall this hotel was amazing! Very comfortable and the breakfast buffet and rooftop were great. The location is quite nice as well. My only suggestion for improvement would be the service. When we first arrived, the receptionist claimed that they did not have a reservation for us even though we had paid through Hotels.com. Although the service at the restaurant was great, the service at the reception desk could be improved.

Super hotel in Praia

This is without a doubt one of the best hotel that I have stayed in anywhere and I travel twice a month for business. In a less developed country like Cape Verde it is truly a delight to come back to a top hotel with a great restaurant, a lovely pool, good room with a view of the bay and very friendly service. A win all around. They set us up with a very polite and very good driver, Silvio to take us around the Santiago island and that added to the enjoyment.

No food menu in room.
No tea or coffee making facilities in room.
No local information available.
No bar as promised by pool.
Nothing to do within the hotel.
Hotel next to a bus parking compound, which was shabby and covered in litter.
TV too small for room and mounted poorly.
Only one armchair in room, so you have to sit on the bed.
Asked for double bed and was given two single beds.
Only positive, internet was stable and worked without cutting out.
This hotel was supposed to be a 4 star place.
I would recommend that its adjusted to a 2-3 star
bed and breakfast and not a hotel.

We spent our vacation in this hotel, exploring Praia capital. The hotel stuff was amazing, very helpfull, excellent breakfast. Hotel was always clean. Good speed wifi and perfectly working airconditioning and nice rooftop swiming pool. We can recomnend this hotel, it made our stay relaxing and comfortable.

The location stank of car and lorry exhausts fumes. The hotel was effectively a building site. The room was stunning except the shower and toilet drain was exposed and looked broken or un finished. No wifi. Despite being promised breakfast nothing was laid on for us. We had pre paid via Hotels.com but was charged again in full. I honestly cannot recommend this hotel.

Das Zimmer war geräumig und gut ausgestattet.
Allerdings, wenn man kein Zimmer mit Meerblick gebucht hat schaut man in einen dunklen schmalen Innenhof!
Die Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption und vom Zimmer Reinigungsservice sind sehr freundlich, wenn auch 1x erst auf Nachfrage um 18 Uhr gereinigt wurde!
Silikonfugen in der Duschen gehören erneuert!
Frühstücksauswahl war ok, aber kalte Spiegeleier mag niemand
Tolles Rooftop mit schöner Aussicht und kleinem Pool. Allerdings war das Wasser trüb und wurde unserer Meinung nach nicht kontinuierlich umgewälzt

Les femmes de ménage prenne les serviette salle mais ne rendent pas de serviette propre donc 1 Serviette pour 2

Pas la peine de contacter l'hotel 12 jours avant notre sejour je les contacte pour arriver plus tot pas de reponse, je leurs envoie un rappel 5 jours avant jamais eu de. Reponse.

Nous somme arriver a 12h au lieux de 14h nous sommes rester dehors

Bref environ 210 pour 2 nuit horrible

Bon séjour dans l’ensemble à l’hôtel Perola. Le personnel est très aimable, surtout les personnes travaillant au restaurant qui assure toujours un excellent service. Le buffet du petit déjeuner est très convenable et l’emplacement est correct. L’espace piscine serait peut être à rafraîchir et une climatisation ne serait pas de refus dans la salle de sport.

Buena atención en recepción. Habían algunas pequeñas deficiencias en la habitación, como el mango de la ducha, pero lo subsanaron al día siguiente.
Cama cómoda y habitación muy amplia.
El desayuno correcto pero cada día había lo mismo. Faltaba más vajilla , tuvimos que pedir un bol para la fruta, y platos limpios (después del primero).

Notre séjour d'une semaine à l'Hôtel Perola le mois dernier a commencé de manière un peu décevante avec une chambre offrant une vue sur le mur d'en face. Cependant, suite à un problème avec le bac à douche, nous avons eu l'agréable surprise d'être surclassés dans une autre chambre. Et quelle amélioration ! Cette nouvelle chambre était non seulement spacieuse et décorée avec goût, comme la précédente, mais elle offrait également une vue absolument superbe, un véritable plaisir chaque matin. La propreté, irréprochable dans les deux chambres, est un point très positif.

L'emplacement de l'hôtel reste un atout majeur, à quelques pas de la plage, idéal pour profiter du soleil et de la mer. Nous avons également apprécié l'atmosphère paisible de l'hôtel, propice à la détente.

Le petit-déjeuner était un régal, avec un choix varié et des produits frais. Nous tenons particulièrement à souligner la réactivité et la gentillesse du personnel face au problème rencontré dans la première chambre. Leur professionnalisme et leur volonté de bien faire se sont traduits par ce surclassement très appréciable.

En résumé, malgré un début un peu mitigé, notre séjour à l'Hôtel Perola s'est transformé en une expérience très positive, notamment grâce à la gestion efficace du problème et au surclassement offert. Nous recommandons cet hôtel, en soulignant la qualité de l'accueil et le potentiel de belles vues si vous avez la chance d'être bien situés !
