Recently built and exclusive apartments "Znjan" are situated on an excellent location in a quiet area on the southern side of Split. A pleasant walk along the city beaches will lead you to the 1700 year old city centre and the Diocletian Palace protected by UNESCO as a cultural monument and registered by the World Cultural Heritage.
There are 9 apartments and a twin room,all together we can accommodate 22 persons. All apartments are air-conditioned ,TV,DVD,radio,bathroom(hair dryers),most of them are with full -equipped kitchen and loggia ,garage.
Near the apartments are sport and recreation facilities for the whole family including an amusement park, tracks for cycling,roller skating and jogging, caffe bars,restaurants, grocery stores and a bus station (15 min to the centre of Split).
With a stay at Apartmani Znjan in Split (Znjan), you'll be a 3-minute drive from Žnjan Beach and 6 minutes from Natural History Museum. This hotel is 2.4 mi (3.9 km) from Bacvice Beach and 2.5 mi (4.1 km) from Croatian Maritime Museum.

Avoid these apartments!
Avoid these apartments. I stayed at Apartment Znjan for two nights as part of a group of three friends. The check in process was fine, with good initial communication from the manager. The accommodation was clean and well maintained. There were two big downsides, however. The first is that there was only air conditioning in the lounge, with only a ceiling fan in the bedroom, which with temperatures of 30 degrees plus outside was not sufficiently cooling and meant we had to move a mattress into the lounge to be able to sleep. The second is that there is a major building site right next door to the apartments. Both mornings heavy earthwork machinery started from 0730. This was incredibly loud and meant that sleeping and relaxing in the apartment during daytime hours was impossible. When we checked out my friends and I asked for a discount to reflect the extreme disruption and were told that it was not possible as the price had already been lowered because of the work. This is a lie, as we booked the apartment months ago, and we were told the work had only started one month previous to our stay. We were not informed at any point about this nose and disruption, and if we had known we would have tried to find alternative accommodation. Additionally we were told we could only pay in cash, so I suspect the business is being run illegally to avoid tax.

Apartment was situated in a great area, easy to get into town and to the beach. The owner was lively and met us earlier than check in time and gave us tips on how to get around and where to eat. Comfortable apartment with everything we needed.

Great apartment, we were upgraded into a larger one due to demand and it was brilliant.
The distance to the beach was fantastic apart from the fact that there is a very steep hill down/up but that cannot be helped.
Staff extremely helpful and allowed us to drop our bags prior to check in time.

Lovely clean room with parking and a fridge. Basic and reasonably priced. Well located to get in to town and walkable to beach and bars/restaurants. The host was lovely, gave great local information and could organise excursions if wanted. No wifi and no credit card facilities so have to pay in cash (euros or Kuna).

Although the interior of the apartment is spacious and clean, i was somewhat disappointed by my stay here. Firstly it is very difficult to find, being hidden behind other large blocks of flats. On arrival I had to wait on the doorstep for quite a while before the host came down. I read of magnificent views in other reviews but in fact there are several other ugly high rise blocks between you and the sea and some building work going on so I wasn't that impressed with the view from the balcony.
Within the apartment, the bed was comfy, there was plenty of room and a nice balcony. the kitchen wasn't great as it was very limited - there is only 2 hotplates to cook on. The shower was a handheld in the bath.

A welcome change to the average hotel room.
We had a superior appartment on the top floor of the block. About 25sqm studio floor space , and a hallway and bathroom. Also 25sqm balcony with loungers and table/chairs for 4 people although usually the studio has only a king bed. Views are magnificent of the sea and island of Brac. Has a good blind system so well covered if required during the day. Water becomes 6 feet deep within a few yards out from the beach. Appartment has its own lock up garage ( free) in the basement although the entrance to the basement is tight and suits smaller vehicle entry. From the basement, the elevator takes you 3 floors up then you have to walk up about 20 steps so no good for wheelchair users etc. Appartment comfortable and some effort has been made by the owner to create an appealing ambience to the accomodation. No microwave or oven but has a 2 plate electric stove .Equipment could be a little better,( no teaspoons found for instance) but overall has enough to create simple meals with 2-3 saucepans etc.There is no hot water supply to the kitchen or bathroom basin taps. There is a large water heater on 24 hours in the bathroom but this supplies the shower only. To wash dishes etc, you need to boil a kettle or carry water through from the supply in the bathroom.The owners live next door and were very friendly and helpful.Across from the Police Station you can catch the number 8 and/or number 15 bus into the centre of Split.

Great Hosts and Terrific Balcony Sea View
Really enjoyed the stay at Apartmani Znjan. Service was faultless and appreciated the fact that they made contact as soon as booking was made to enquire about arrival details and offer assistance. The hosts spoke English well, provided helpful advice and picked us up from the bus station for €10 and kindly waited there for ages as our bus was nearly one hour late ( it is about 10-15 mins drive from Split centre to the apartments so taxi or transfer is required). The apartment was spotless and very well appointed with good air con & wifi connection. The huge private balcony/terrace has a terrific sea view and overlooks the beach. Whilst a 15 minute bus ride is required to get to the centre of Split, for those happy to stay a little further from the action and enjoy the lovely Znjan pebble beach (2 minutes walk away) before their island hopping, this apartment offers a great experience and I strongly recommend it.

Stunning views over the Adriatic
Spotlessly clean, well-equipped apartment with large private terrace overlooking the Adriatic Sea, complete with outdoor table and chairs plus comfortable deckchairs. Apartment consists of an entry hall, good bathroom with shower over the bath and large room with bed at one end, kitchen in the other corner with breakfast bar and stools, and tv, music system, couch and coffee table. There are 2 double doors onto the deck, also aircon if needed. Nicely decorated with interesting pieces but not cluttered and plenty of cupboard space. The hosts are a young family living on site, very warm, welcoming and helpful but never intrusive. There is a lift but it is necessary to climb one short flight of stairs. Our host kindly carried our luggage after picking us up from the train station for a small extra charge, for which we were very grateful. Good free fast wi-fi once we entered the lengthy password.

The room we stayed in was not the room we booked, although it was a better one. It was very spacious and had a nice patio out the back. It was nothing fancy, but it was pleasant. The internet connection was spotty, as the router was located 3 floors above us, but it eventually worked. The owner was friendly and accommodating.

Vi bodde på en byggeplass , så bare maskiner som førte med seg masse bråk fra kl 07.00 og utover dagen. Absolutt det dårligste oppholde jeg har hatt utenlands noen gang..Ikke et rent håndkle på en hel uke med 32-33 grader . Elendig opphold , hadde mest lyst til å dra derfra, men besøkte andre plasser . Great place to stay for shorter or longer trips
Great service, they provided information and apartment-supplies when needed, and were really nice to talk with.The apartment was clean when we arrived and contained everything we needed for the stay. The only thing we took note of was that the bed was hard, so our backs got a bit sore.. And the local area had a lot of construction going on (no noise, just not so nice to look at).

2 kamers gehad: de eerste prima. Voorkant gebouw met uitzicht op zee en ruim terras. De tweede slecht. Ligt onder in de kelder met soms benzinedampen van de gratis parkeergarage op de gang. De tweede: geen internet en permanente schemering en uitzicht op een muur. Niet geschikt voor verhuur. Desa die ons ontvangt is prima en behulpzaam. Het gebouw staat er al dik tien jaar maar de omgeving is nog steeds een zooitje. Slechte toegangsweg, puin en afval in omgeving. Gewoon treurig. Het strand is vaak overvol en de scherpe kiezelsteentjes zijn geen pretje. Waterschoentjes zijn bijna een must als je wilt zwemmen. De beachbarretjes zijn OK en parkeren en ligbedden zijn gratis. Het strand ligt op loopafstand maar vergt wel een aardige klim. De bushalte naar Split is in de buurt maar de laatste bus terug vertrekt al om elf uur. Split is leuk en in de historische binnenstad kun je goed eten bij Bokaria. Als je van kunst houdt is het Gallerie/Museum Mesterovic een must. Vergeet ook niet het bijbehorende kerkje 300 meter verderop te zoeken. Zit in de prijs van het ticket. Prachtig houtsnijwerk van de meester. Ga vroeg en neem je zwemspullen mee want tussen museum en kerkje ligt een leuk strand, minder druk dan Znjan tegenover het appartement. in de buurt van Znjan kun je lekker eten bij het betaalbare Dalmatino, een restaurant waar je vanuit Znjan opkijkt maar via een omweg bereikt. Probeer zeker de garnalenpate. Kortom: Split is leuk, Znjan geen aanrader en Desa, gastvrouw een topper.

Close to the beach, close to busstop to take you in to Split center. Grocerystore nearby. Clean and big rooms and a big balcony. Not enough knives and glasses in the kitchen for four people but the rest was ok. I recommend this place for a family

The apartment is nice, but no internet connection is unforgivable. Besides that, the air conditioner was not working and is in only in the living room. The bed rooms depend on fans, which were not enough for the high temperature in Croatia. The beach nearby was OK, but too crowded.

Mainio, rento majoitus. Aamupalaa eikä siivoojia ei ollut, joten sai nukkua niin pitkään kun halusi kun ei tarvinnut ehtiä aamupalalle tai mennä pois siivoojien tieltä. Omistaja asui asumuksen yläkerrassa ja sanoi että jos tulee kysymyksiä tai tarvetta johonkin, saa tulla koputtamaan oveen: halusipa siivousta, vessapaperia, puhdasta pyyhettä, ohjeita ym.
Ranta oli todella lähellä ja muutenkin pääsi hyvin liikkumaan joko bussilla tai kävellen sinne tänne. Naapurusto oli rauhallinen ja siisti.

Suosittelen. Alueella näet paikallista elämää, lähellä rantaa ja bussit kulkee läheltä Splitin keskustaan. Ilmaiset parkkipaikat jos vuokraat auton tai tulet autolla. Huoneiston omistajat erittäin ystävällisiä. Soitettiin heille, kun lento oli myöhäinen ja olivat iloisia kun ilmoitettiin. Sijaintina loistava, josta pääsee joka suuntaan. Lentokentälle vievät lisämaksusta. Huoneet siistit ja sieltä löytyi kaikki tarvittava. Hinta laatu suhde erittäin hyvä.

Huoneiston omistajat asuu ainakin kesän samassa rakennuksessa joten jos oli kysyttävää, apu oli lähellä. Busseilla pääsee hyvin kulkemaan joka suuntaan. Huoneiston omistaja haki ja vei meidät lentokentälle (hinta sama kun taksilla mennessä).
