Not sure where all the five star reviews are coming from. The hot tub was out of order, the pool was tiny and too cold to enjoy. The phone in the room didn't work so there was no way to report all the things that were unsatisfactory - no lotion in the dispenser, freezing bathroom floor, wobbly broken desk chair and beds that felt like a thin pad on top of a brick. The only ice machine was broken so we had to buy ice at the gas station for our cooler. And while there was hot water for a shower on Saturday, there was no hot water Sunday morning. The breakfast was okay, not great, but the location was very convenient.

I tried to call the hotel all mornings but the phone line didn’t work. Arrived at check-in time to find the pool and hot tub weren't avaliable. Was told it would be availble the next morning but it was not. Booked this hotel specifically for the pool and hot tub for my 3 children to enjoy. The hall smelled like cigarette smoke. The chair in the room had stains on it, and the computer chair was broken.

Unlike some reviews I read I had no issues with this hotel at all. I checked in and the clerk was friendly; people complained about no elevator but it's only a 2-story hotel so there isn't really a need. If steps are an issue, I'm sure they could make sure you're on the first floor or you could request it when you make a reservation. My room (2nd floor) was clean I had no problem with it at all. I read a bad review of the pool area and upon checking it out saw nothing wrong with it. They apparently let locals come and use the pool since I saw an open swim signup sheet by the desk which is very kind of them. Breakfast was fine eggs,sausage,waffles and the typical items at most hotels. All in all I would stay here again.

The room was beautifully clean Except the armchair had had three large stains on the seating cushion. There was no way I was going to sit there, but forgot to mention it to the person at the desk. Other than that, the room features were comfortable and everything worked. I would highly recommend to quality inn or whoever owns them to make even two story hotels complete with an elevator. It's not convenient to go to either end, go up and downstairs and then backtrack to the center of the building. Please take this into consideration.

I didn't expect much upon arrival, but overall, this place was good. It looks dated, but everything was in working order. One oddity is that there appears to be no public restrooms at all--not even in the pool area or close to the breakfast area. We did find a sock on the floor in our room that was not ours. That always makes me question the thoroughness of cleaning.

I was extremely unhappy with our stay here. First, check in was at 3pm, we arrived at 2pm and I asked if it was possible for an early check in. He informed me all the rooms were clean and ready but still asked for $20 fee for checking in an hour early. Not only were all rooms clean, there was nobody there and I was 1 hour early. That seems a bit ridiculous. I paid it anyway because we had a baby who needed a nap. They had one smoke detector in our room that did not work at all, when I confronted them, they told me to change the battery and see if that works. They also confirmed they have 0 carbon monoxide detectors on site. This is unsafe, and I am pretty sure illegal? They did not care. There was hair all over our bed. No elevator (I asked for a 1st flr room because we had a baby with lots of things to carry in - even though NO one was there, he said no, rooms are already assigned and I could not switch). Breakfast was ok. Pool was filled with hair and dirt and no public bathrooms while near the pool. Checking out, he tried to charge me for a dog being with me (we do not have a dog or any other animal for that fact) and insisted I have to pay that fee. When I told him I didn't have a pet, he said \"Are you sure? It says here you do for who checked you in\". I said \"YOU checked me in and I do not have an animal\". Overall, this hotel was not worth the price AT ALL and it seems like they just wanted to get you for everything they possibly could.

Also the property does not have an elevator and lugging 2 kids and 3 suitcases up a flight of stairs at 1am and after a long travel day was the last thing I needed and to be greeted with a bad attitude at checkin made the experience exceptionally unpleasant.

I liked that it was closed to Road America race track but the hotel smelled terrible and the staff was not there when we were trying to checked in at 1:45am they saw us coming and they decided to leave the property for some reason and we had to wait 30 minutes for her to come back after driving 5 hours from home and we kept calling the assistant number / hotel number and nobody came and help till last minute (06/22/25 check the cams)

I’m currently working on obtaining housing and I have been a repeat customer for over 2 years now and today I had to go pay 20$ extra for a king size bed instead of a queen. I needed to make a split payment between 2 cards. The woman at the desk, which is the owners wife, questioned whether I have cash, as it costs them to run my 2 cards for payment…. Mind you this is the 3 booking in 3 days so far and I have at least 5 plus other stays here in the past 6 months. I offered to pay a dollar more per card since she seemed so upset about it. And she actually put the extra dollar on the transactions! Breakfast is basic. You get what you pay for.
