I wish I could give the Watershed Hotel more than 5 Stars. It was at least 10 Stars. I was so impressed. Everything was great. The people were friendly. The room was fantastic. The hotel was very clean. They have thought of everything for their patrons. It was very pet friendly and as a woman traveling alone with my fur-baby I felt very safe. I will definitely be going back.

A beautiful if slightly bland small hotel on the Sheboygan River. Bland is not bad, the simplicity is somehow perfect in a northern/Scandinavian style. I booked the bright and spacious suite this time and loved it. Great quiet location, albeit not walkable to anything. Also well-priced for what it offers, but Sheboygan is pricey (why?) on summer weekends. Fine generous self-service breakfast buffet. Internet works well. Staff very helpful and friendly. My third stay in three years and I would not stay anywhere else given the choices.

One of the best and cleanest hotels i have ever stayed at. If/when I return to Wisconsin, I will 10000% be booking at this hotel again. The staff and people at the front desk couldn't have been nicer. A 10 out of 10 stay for me. I stayed on the river side and being able to open up the door every morning to the Sheboygan River was the cherry on top. Fantastic hotel

Breakfast was something nice and easy as it should. Not over the top breakfast but it fed my girlfriend and I. Staff are friendly, park lot was nice and clean. The room is perfect. Nice view of the river in the back. Nice hangout on the side of the building. Don’t hesitate, and book it. I’ll sure be coming back that’s for sure.

Wonderful breakfast options. Hotel is beautiful and the views of the river stunning.
I was excited to stay here again when we returned however the walls and floors have next to zero insulation or sound proofing. We could hear even quiet footsteps above us and toilets flushing around us.
We stayed for a friends night and was looking forward to pizza and card games, but were shushed by noise complaints twice-music was super low and just regular conversation levels and laughing.

One oddity, closet cupboard stood between wall TV and couch (the only soft seat in the room) so the only way to watch a movie is from the bed. Not a deal breaker but when in between events the last thing I want to do is lie on bed just to be entertained.

There is a fridge and microwave, both very clean. The breakfast is a little slim for my diet, but there is plenty of fruit, cereal, and milk. I have had better, but I have also had much worse. There is snacks and booze and mixers at the counter, and high speed internet and cable TV in the rooms. The central fireplace is cute, and upscale for me; I live in a cabin in the woods. I liked the river view side, it would be nice in summer, but there are no screens on the door to the deck, so you would need bug spray on the porch/deck, which overlooks the river and Kiwanis Park. There are fish in the river! I had a nice quiet stay over the blizzard weekend with no complaints, and the shower is quite large with glass doors, ample room for more than 3? Good location on Erie & 14th, easy in and out.

I have stayed here several times and can say the cleanliness all the way to the customer service was top notch. You are only a stranger once. After that, you are family. Cindy, Jim, Bailey, and Melissa care about each person they serve, and Dax (a service dog in training) gives the best greetings when he is there. This will be my go to place when I need to come to Sheboygan.

We had a horrible stay unfortunately, the room above us the guest were partying & extremely load til atleast 3 am. We made our concerns at checkout but unfortunately went unheard because we were unaware of the after hours phone number. Hotel has no front desk person after 10pm. So guest can pretty much do whatever they want. The room was nice and clean and so was the hotel. Unfortunately, our main concern was the events that took place from 10 pm to 3 am. Next time we will choose a hotel that is staffed 24/7.

Hotel is new, small, cozy, comfortable and in a quiet and private neighborhood area in the middle of town…seemingly less than a 10 minute drive to everything in town. Very spacious room, clean, new, would definitely stay here again. Not a traditional king bed, was a little low to the ground and not the highest quality mattress, but otherwise everything was great. Very friendly and welcoming GM and staff.

It was good. But personally I don’t like dog hotels. Breakfast was a little strange, but we went out for breakfast so it didn’t matter much. The bed was comfortable. Spacious room, but it could’ve used a small table and a couple of chairs in front of the window so you could actually sit and maybe have a snack or play cards or something - a lot of empty space.

The hotel has an industrial decor which is cool but they extended that decor into the rooms making them feel cold and barren. No carpet or rugs. Just LVL and tile. They say because they are “pet friendly” rooms but it’s not a comfortable experience. Plus I didn’t have my pet with me. The bathroom is nice but the shower door only opens from the right side forcing you to enter the shower to turn it on.

The mini hotel was perfect for our stay! It is either fairly new or recently renovated. The waterfront side has either a balcony (up top) or walk out to the river; it was very nice. If you are a light sleeper, you may hear those above you in the morning, but it did not bother us.

We stayed here for a little mini-vacation before our baby joins our family. We stayed on the first floor with a river view, and it had direct access to a cute little bench and grass area outside our room. This was GREAT as our pups joined us (for a small, but very fair additional cost). The room was clean and incredibly comfortable. All the staff we crossed paths with during our stay (3 total) were very friendly and personable. There aren't a ton of rooms, which is nice as it allowed more connection with the lovely people working who checked in with us as we crossed paths to ensure we were enjoying our stay/explorations. Our pups snuck out the room on our last day and LOVED their romp in the hallway, and the lady working was SO understanding and kind about the situation, even when our diaper needing pup (who hadn't gotten it on after going outside yet) tinkled on the floor. She was so kind and relaxed about it happening and the cleaning that followed, which was a huge relief as we felt really bad.

All of this goes to say, we will be coming back to stay anytime we're in the area again and recommending this lovely place to anyone needing a comfortable space to stay. It was refreshing to have our fur babies welcomed with us, but also, truly understood by other dog owners/lovers. We couldn't have asked for a better stay for our mini family vacation ❤️

The complimentary beverage bar that's there all day, and complimentary continental breakfast in the morning was great! Very impressed with selections given that similar breakfasts I've had at other similar hotels are generally pretty simple with only a few items to select from, and aren't particularly fresh.

This hotel only has 25 rooms, so it is quiet and is right on the Sheboygan River. There are multiple areas to sit outdoors and enjoy the serenity of the river. The walkability is nice to the 8th Avenue District for restaurants, shopping, the library, etc. The owner works at the desk so everything is always in order. The rooms are very spacious and well kept. Highly recommend!

Liked the Executive Suite we were in, although the city view isn’t my idea of a view, River View much better. The Watershed is a small (24 rooms), boutique hotel that is only a few years old. It is modern, clean, quiet, comfortable, and personable. Looking for a pool for the kids to play? Not here. It is however, pet friendly and just fine for children. There are games and a gorgeous view of the Sheboygan River. This is a gem and our go-to place now for staying here.

One of our best hotel experiences yet!!! Beautiful hotel, we stayed in the executive suite with river view & we enjoyed having a full size living room with fireplace. We enjoyed the river view from our balcony, loved being greeted by Dax the dog. Super friendly & helpful staff made us feel welcome. Will definitely stay here next time we’re in town!
