The reception staff were brilliant, BUT. The Hotel has told a lot of untruths. For example my balcony room with a partial sea view. There is a building being built, physically attached to the hotel, there were tarpaulin drapes but the workmen could literally see into the room. The room is supposed to be soundproofed but you can hear the work going on from before 7am till very late at night.
What the hotel are going to do with these rooms when the building is finished is anyone’s idea, they will be windowless. The hotel is not beach front as stated. It is two roads back, it does not have direct access to the beach as stated, its two roads back from the each. There are lots of other untruths sadly.

We where staying at JBay Hotel for the whole month. It's a nice boutique hotel which is close to everything including the beach. The staff are very friendly and helpful, especially Mr James who accommodate us in any requests. There is a construction site near by the hotel. Mr James has done everything to make us feel more comfortable.
Thank you so much JBay Hotel. We have had an amazing time.

Great location with a beautiful view of the beach, especially from the gorgeous rooftop pool. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of variety from fruit, breads, soup, rice/noodles, veggies, etc. The hotel was very clean, the bed was comfy, and the bathtub was luxurious.

My only complaint, and this is no fault of the hotels, but the construction is loud during the day. For most, this might not be an issue as it's during the day, but I work remote late into the night and struggled to get enough sleep as the construction starts early.

Did not like staying there. We ended up loosing our money and booked somewhere else. Breakfast was very disappointing.

The hotel has lots of potential but could use some upgrades. Room Key was used multiple times with peeling paper. Unfortunately, there is major construction going on. I had people literally 2 feet away from my window on the 5th floor. Rooms will be looking directly at a building when that one on the side of the property is completed. There is another large building being built across the street that obstructs the ocean view. The room had no bait water in the morning, sink drain was slow and the bathtub did not have a stopper to make it useful (not that I wanted to use it)

I booked a “balcony” room, and the balcony was literally touching construction, and my window view was completely blocked.
The space of the room itself was nice, but both the rooms and the hallways were pretty dark and uninspiring. I don’t like leaving bad reviews because overall the staff was kind, the place was affordable, and it was walking distance to everything we needed. But I have stayed in more charming places…
So overall it is not the best, but not the worst place to be. And I understand the construction is not their fault, but I would compensate for the situation somehow…

The room was clean but when i arrived my pillow case was dirty but housekeeping came immediately to change it and was prepared to change the whole bed.

The staff at this hotel are amazing....particulay the doorman /luggage man. He goes out of his way to help you. I did not get a room with a balcony but would next time as the wi.dow is in tje bathroom with the partial sea view.
Nice and close to the beach! Good location. Breakfast good. A rough start here but it got better. Housekeeping had to come and show me how to work the aircon.

I wish we stayed here an extra few days, but our trip was planned on a schedule. We had spacious rooms, the staff were extremely helpful. They greeted us with helpful maps of the area, information on recommended businesses, restaurants, and activities. They also arranged for our car ride to the Da Nang train station.

This was a great experience, and my family had a memorable stay, while it was only for a short while.

Wonderful Stay at JBAY Beachfront Boutique Hotel

My partner and I had an exceptional experience at JBAY Beachfront Boutique Hotel. The hotel was spotless, and the staff was incredibly friendly and communicative, making us feel right at home. We also appreciated the great airport shuttle service, which was very convenient for our early morning flight. There was a small surcharge fee, but it was well worth it for the ease and reliability of the service.

The hotel’s breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety. The staff was flexible and accommodating, especially when they helped us get to the airport around 4:00 AM for our early flight. It was a big help, and we really appreciated their attentiveness.

The location is fantastic—within walking distance to some amazing food spots and just a short distance to My Khe Beach.

Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this place.

The property has no gym, bar or dining room (except for a very basic breakfast).
There is high rise now under construction in front of the property with cranes and heavy equipment operated 24hours a day.
As construction continues the beach view will disappear.
Overall our 3 week stay was very ordinary.

I had an absolutely amazing time staying at JBAY hotel. The staff were attentive, kind and welcoming. I especially want to say that Mai was an amazing host who took the time to answer my questions and suggest many beautiful places to visit. She made my stay even better! The hotel’s location is very convenient and a one minute walk from the beach. The breakfast is amazing for the price and the rooms are extremely large With everything you need. However, there isn’t a phone in the room but I had no problem with this. I think it’s because it’s a new hotel. The next time I stay in Danang, I will stay at this hotel for sure. Thank you so much for your hospitality ❤️

Despite the name, the hotel is not beachfront, but just one street over from the beach. If you book the higher floors, their ocean view rooms are very nice. However, the plat of land in front is under construction, in a couple years, there may not be any ocean views left from this hotel. In any case, for the price, you cannot beat J-BAY. The rooms are quite large, comfortable, and clean. You can just walk right to the beach in 2 minutes. During my stay, I booked room 602 ocean view, but there was a lingering sewer odor smell in the room that I finally moved to another interior room (which was perfectly fine but without the smell and no view). My friend also booked room 702 directly above mine, which was fine the first day or so but by the second day the sewer odor also seeped up. This was very unfortunate because the view from these rooms was so beautiful.

Great location - right on the Danang Beach.
Spectacular view from the balcony and reflection of the ocean view in the mirror facing to the balcony. Super clean. 45sqm is quite spacious. Love the rooftop pool. Just be careful it’s slippery and dangerous when the floor is wet at the pool.

The property seemed very clean and well kept from the reviews and pictures. However, the room was quite unclean when I entered. The bed still had stains and the floor had crumbs everywhere. Housekeeping missed my room for one night even though I had requested it on the light by the doorbell. There was also plumbing noise from the rain which was very loud during the night time. However, the staff was nice and accommodating and the location was decent.

They were all very warm and helpful.

Excellent staff make for a great hotel. From check in to check out, which included plenty of use of all the facilities.
All the team were professional, courteous and made us feel very welcome. The suite room was comfortable with an excellent sea view. If you don't mind a small pool (however, the rooftop setting makes up for it) then J-BAY is an ideal hotel at the price point.

I recommend and will happily stay again.

Quarto ótimo e espasoço. O problema foi uma obra de um prédio que esta na lateral do hotel... O atendente ja deveria ficar atento no check in para acomodar as pessoas no lado oposto, foi preciso no segundo dia eu me manifestar para ser trocado de quarto. A localização é excelente mas penso que este problema da obra deva ser pontual e com os dias contados.

Des travaux aux fenêtres, du bruit de 7h le matin à 22h 23h même le samedi. Des fourmis dans la chambre, j’ai du nettoyer toute ma trousse de toilette qui en était infesté. J’ai boucher le trou depuis où elle sortais avec du dentifrice. J’ai vu ces même fourmis dans certains plats du petit déjeuner. Un des ascenseurs qui note « out of service » mais qui est utilisation, pas très rassurant. Séjour catastrophique.

It’s totally understandable to have a massive construction in front of the hotel and not to inform guests about this challenging situation. It’s so noisy that you can’t rest as they work 24/7 a week, never stop. Why do I pay a premium rate for sea view which is in fact the premium view on this construction. Be warned! Don’t go there. It’s a total loss of money, time and energy.

ホテルのベランダから海が見える好立地が良いが、今海側で大掛かりな工事をしており、目の前に大きな建物が建つ可能性があるのが心配である。
ホテルの設備は広さ、清潔さともに問題はない。朝食も十分な種類がある。
特にホテルのフロントの人が親切で、いろいろと相談に乗って貰えた。
少し音は気になる人もいるかもしれない、外を流す物売りの拡声器の音が時々聞こえたり、夜中でも工事をしているのでその、工事音がする場合がある。

ホテルは新しくて部屋も綺麗です。
スタッフは…まぁ、こんなものでしょう。
早朝のビーチは体操する集団で、夜明け前から大音量で謎の体操…ダンスしてます。泳ぐ人も多い。
隣の空き地や道路が彼らの駐車場になってて、水着の婆ちゃんが海から上がってきます。地元の皆さんのパワーを露骨に感じられるエリアです。

Spectacular hotel! We had a room at
one of the top floors with a sea view and it was stunning. You get to see the sunrise on the beach.
high standard of the roo. Just a few minutes walk to the beautiful My Khe beach and plenty of good restaurants in the neighborhood. This definitely surpassed our expectations and we'll be staying here again the next time we're in Da Nang.

It was my first time visiting Da Nang with my son. The hotel staffs are very friendly and could speak fluent English so you don’t have to worry about the translation. The hotel is pretty near to the beach, except it’s really chill to visit the beach in the morning. The room that I booked is a balcony suite and it oversees a splendid sea view.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay here with JBAY and I will definitely come back if I revisit Da Nang.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel. We had a nice ocean view room and the scenery was awesome. There are plenty of restaurants around the hotel.

Hotel is accessible to the beach, staff speak well English at reception, they have a desk customer officer to assist tourists. Room is spacious after added in a extra bed.

We had a wonderful week staying at this hotel. Location was right by the beach and close to everything else.

Amazing views from the roof top infinity pool. Incredible value too for this hotel. But the most outstanding thing was the service. Every single person went to extra efforts to make sure you were taken care of. They even called an employee to hunt down a pastry, banh tieu, that we had tried at a food cart stand and couldn’t locate it again.

I highly recommend this hotel.
