The room was ok in general. I had no big expectations.
Although, I noticed that one of the pillows had a smell of women perfume. The other one was clean. My conclusion, they do not wash the bedding all the times.

The guy that checked me in was nice. The room was pretty hot though. Air conditioner was in the corner away from the beds and it didn't do much to cool the room.

We stayed in Jamestown the night after the recent tornado and the power had come back on shortly before we arrived! We were grateful for a good nights sleep on a comfortable bed and appreciated the very kind staff, too!

Toilet doesn’t flush, tub doesn’t drain hairs all over walls, pubic hairs all over toilet. Staff is friendly but property is not clean and not worth what I paid.

I don't mind an older hotel, but this one was rather run down. The carpet and comforters had been replaced, but everything else seemed badly worn.
The description said breakfast included, but it was small, pre-packaged muffins and coffee in the lobby. That's it.
The man that checked us in was helpful and kind.

It’s a good spot to sleep overnight. The manager is very friendly. He makes sure there isn’t any loud noise after 10 PM, which I appreciated. The rooms are clean but have an old house smell. Very reasonable price for an overnight stay.

The motel is very old and in dire need of some updating. The room and the bedding were clean but from the odor, it must have been a smoking room and the old cigarette smell has penetrated the wall, carpet, curtains etc. The box spring and/or mattress was so creaky, it woke me every time my husband moved. The owner and his family were very nice and welcoming. The check-in process went very smoothly.

An honest opinion

After we checked in and assessed the situation, my husband said \"at least the bed isn't broken.\" When the frame shifted and the bed fell apart, we both laughed. There wasn't much else to do. He figured out the poorly made frame and we didn't have a problem with it after that. Terrible bed, too.

The reality is the room was clean and owner seemed nice, but the place probably needs some intensive care or gasoline and a match. It looks like it should be rented by the hour or condemned. Cracks in the wall, everything is in poor condition. Wish we'd slept at a rest stop. Can't say much else.

Look for real before reserving. Ratings are fraud

Motel is a good 5, the reviews show a pattern of submission of 10's. No way! Breakfast is advertised. It consists of coffee and a muffin. Box elder bug infestation. But sheets and towels are clean, water is hot, heater works. I'd use Super 8 before staying here again.

This was an ok place to spend one night, it's an old Motel, you can't expect much for 60$ you get what you pay for. The guy at the front desk is very nice. Theres no breakfast just coffee and a small muffin to go. So again good for a night if you need a quick place to stay. We didn't use the shower so I can't say much for that. The heat did work well!

Just ok. Needed a place to rest after unexpected travel challenges. Found this hotel on Expedia.com, with limited availability in the area, and need for late evening check in.
Clerk was kind and helpful. Property and room, however, are dated and dingy, in need of a spruce up. Served our purpose for one night.

It was an interesting and nostalgic experience, because this motel is exactly what a motel was in the 1950s. The low property condition rating just reflects that the motel would need a lot of updating to reach modern standards, and it wouldn't be practical. The room AC is remarkably noisy and has no lower fan speed, so a trip to the shower is more bracing than you might want. The owner provided coffee and muffins in the \"lobby.\" You carry the coffee and muffins to your room. The muffins are the 3-bite size. It's not what I'd expect for a breakfast. But for a one night stopover, it was OK.

We got in late and I am sure we woke the owner. It’s an older building but seemed clean and a good place to rest for the night on our way home. Bed sounded like it was wrapped in plastic so every time we moved it made noise. Still not bad for the price.

Do not stay here. Nasty smell, dirty stained everything. Beds like cardboard. Duct tape holding something in shower, stains in shower and the floor mat of shower nasty! This place should NOT be a business unless renovated!

No glasses in the room. Had to hand mouth in order to brush my teeth. Also, the sign outside the hotel said rooms for $39 but I paid about twice that amount for their cheapest room.
