Only paid for the room for my daughter and 3 of her friends to swim. We checked in about 3, the kids got their swim stuff on about 4:30 and walked to the pool and they were back in the room less than 5 minutes later because the pool was disgusting! There was green algae growing on the bottom of the pool and it was apparently bodily fluid smelling. The hot tub looked like shreks swamp green and cloudy and FOUL smelling! The stairs to the slide were rusted and sharp, and the jets that push water down the slide were broken and pouring the water everywhere except down the slide! The girls just came back to the room to get my husband to show him, a worker was very rude to my husband for taking photos stating a child at a birthday party had vomited in the hot tub and that he was aware of it and told my husband to leave! We contemplated what to do for about an hour and decided to ask for a refund and go to another hotel, the front desk staff got the cook apparently who yelled at us and 3 staff including the cook got very loud and told my husband to shut up! They refused the refund and told us to leave! $150 for NOTHING! Gross! Do better!

The hotel seemed to be nice for the area. The parking lot was packed because of the restaurant and meeting rooms. The hotel was quiet. The mattresses were ancient. The bathroom was beyond gross. The toilet needed a good cleaning after being used by many men. The countertop needed a good cleaning. I kept my toothbrush on a towel just because the counter hadn’t been cleaned before our stay. We were give a delightful rooftop view. It was perfect for a wonderful sunrise view. The remote checkout was creepy with a foreign woman looking over my shoulder like a nieve 9 year old.

I've stayed here one other time, it was okay but this time the nightstand was dirty there was soap scum in the tub where the soap goes, somebody else's hand towel still hanging from the shower curtain... the shade was open when I got in the room and you could clearly see the spider web in the corner... cone in clean up.

Old, rundown and broken. Flimsy entry doors, many questionable unsavory fellows milling around stairwells. The only updated item was the bed which was actually quite comfortable. The bar/restaurant was dirty and uncomfortable. The waiter was rude and treated us poorly. Bill came to $30.00 and I gave the waiter a $50. He asked if I wanted change, of course I said yes. The change he brought me was a $20. Ridiculous. Chicken strips were fried in old oil causing horrible taste and smell. He didn’t know what a grilled cheese sandwich was and looked at me as if I were stupid. Front desk gentleman was uninterested in his position and it was difficult to understand him when speaking. Bathroom sink had a deep crack from one side to the other. Conditioner bottle ripped off of shower wall.

It was very loud. You could hear everything going on. House keepers opening door at least 4 times by 0900 when check out is 11. Facility smelt like mildew. Out dated. Bathroom vents were black and painted in bathroom all cracked and chipping with mold maybe due to there was no vent. This would’ve a no go for me again.

I got there late and they have this kiosk you check in not a person but there’s a person on the other side of the kiosk and it was the worst check-in process I’ve ever had. It took over 30 minutes at 2 o’clock in the morning to check in to our room. I will never go back if I have to answer to a kiosk.

My first attempt at a review I ran out of characters, so I'll keep it as short and sweet as possible.

Was a nice property back when it was a Quality Inn.

2 nights in the King Jetted Tub Suite for work. Super physically demanding job, so I was counting on that tub at the end of the day.

Night 1, the hotel ran out of hot water. The drain in the tub didn't work properly anyway, so what's the difference I guess. The couch was so stained I had to investigate the pullout portion. Even worse and covered in brown specks reminiscent of the Double B word.

Spare sheets were clearly stained with blood that they tried real hard to wash out until they were orange. Front desk couldn't care less.

TV was stuck in store demo mode. AC unit was duct taped and leaked like crazy. Had to use towels and an ice bucket to catch the water dripping.

Would have loved to let the front desk know about those issues, but after midnight there's no more in-person staff. Just a kiosk with a video screen.

Restaurant was expensive and my burger was wetter than the carpet under the AC. Breakfast had good sausages, but crazy watery waffle mix and eggs.

2nd night I tried my best to sleep until I felt a few ants crawling on me. Game over. Probably found their way in past the duct tape. Managed to get a total of 6 hours of sleep over 2 nights.

Also smells like hot feet. Couldn't pay me to stay again.

This property needs to decide if the people staying at the hotel are the priority or the people in the bar are. The bar is noisy and played loud music until 230 am. Loud bass throughout the halls. Unable to find anyone at the front desk, virtual staff not on site. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone and will not be staying again.

This was the most disgusting hotel room I have ever seen in my life. It smelled horrible, the carpet was filthy, and I’m pretty sure there were rodents. The floor was sticky in the kitchenette, as was the floor around the toilet. Awful. I would have left but we didn’t get in u til late and I had no choice.

Steer clear at all costs

150$ and some change for a terrible room. I’ve seen flea bag motel rooms cleaner and in better condition than this. Hardly anyone was speaking American English. You couldn’t talk to anyone at the front desk. You had to speak to a kiosk. The water smelled like sewage, my room was pretty much destroyed before I even got there. There was pubes in and on the tub. Sink was broken, shower walls were broken, the bedroom walls were destroyed, the shower wouldn’t come on all the way. The recliner was ruined. The ac unit smelled moldy. The only good part of this stay was the bar. Met some friendly people and the bartender Val was top notch as his job.

So the pros of our stay, dog friendly and they did not over charge on the pet fees like so many do anymore. The front desk lady was very nice and welcoming.
The cons:
We were keep awake all night by pounding above us.
There was a blood stain on the comforter
The room smelled horrible
The grounds were disgusting, trash all over. We never felt safe at all
You could hear the door to the outside slamming all night.
The room just did not feel clean.
Maybe one of the worst stays I have had. Was not worth the price

They were very pleasant about doing so. The room we stayed in was definitely showing age and in need of upgrades. The mattresses needed to be replaced.

When is breakfast served? No signs!

I've been staying at this hotel on and off over the past four years. In the past weekend breakfast was served from 6 to 10 am. However, during this last visit hotel staff removed the food and cleaned up beginning at 9:30 am. I looked for any signs indicating when breakfast was served, but could find nothing, anywhere. My daughter and I were lucky we came at 9, so we got food. Some other hotel guests were not as fortunate.

All fixtures had a good layer of dust on them. Water smells like rotten eggs. Several things that are loose or broken. Several stains on comforter. Found several hairs not belonging to me in bathroom. When I had told them there was several things broken in my room they came in the room even though I had a do not disturb sign on my door and they only fixed one thing and left the others just laying on the ground.. also their press for assistance at front desk does not work so you have to yell to get someone’s attention

Our room was very near to an outside door with easy access to the pool/hot tub/gym area. Our beds were new, firm, and very comfortable. Our sheets were clean, soft, and high thread count! TV worked well. Pillows were plenty and puffy. The breakfast area was spotless and well stocked. The staff mopped the entry and food area at least 3x while we were eating to ensure cleanliness and appearance for all guests. Check in was fast, informative amd friendly. All aspects of our short overnight stay were excellent, including the waterslide and hot tub! Would definitely recommend. 🙏💜

No heat in my room.

I would compare this hotel to the lower half of hotels in the area right now. Quick appearance looks nice, but over all it very old. Lots of little fix-it spots should be taken care of. Our room was sub-par. Had almost no heat. The heater would either blow luke warm air on high or blow outisde cold air (-34⁰) when it was turned OFF! There was no way to turn it completely off. The fan was so loud it kept us all up both nights. I will not be returning to the Jamestown Hamilton.

This hotel is so outdated and run down. The pool was of course closed and ironically opening around checkout time. The breakfast was average but nothing great at all. Maybe the price is average for this time period, but we felt we completely over paid for what was offered.
Beds were as hard as a rock and you could feel the springs. Blanket top was dirty. Honestly it was just a gross hotel.

This is the third time we’ve stayed here, and unfortunately the worst. Upkeep has gone way downhill. The water slide was out of service and the hand rail to the hot tub is rusted and loose, a definite safety hazard. The entire hotel had a weird odor that was not there for prior trips. The tub drain was completely rusted. A used washcloth was hanging from the shower curtain when we arrived to the room. We really thought that with the change in ownership, things would be better. Unfortunately they were worse. The one bright side was the breakfast…very good and stayed open longer than advertised.

As we checked in the guy at the front desk tells me they have no rooms available and did nothing else to accommodate us as it was nearly check in time. Some other employee was helpful and asked if we needed to check in and got us our 2 rooms minutes later, she was super helpful. The guy at the front desk was extremely rude and not accommodating to us as guests. Rooms were not super clean and water in sink smelt bad. Overall do not recommend.

It took three tries to find a room that was serviceable. The shower was broken in the first. Some of the window blinds where actually missing in the second. And the thrird was better, but there was trash on the floor, only decaf coffee that was for a 4 cup machine and the room had a single cup unit. All in all, I would say look elsewhere.
