Unloved and below Comfort Inn standards. This property is poorly maintained, with junk and liter everywhere and is worn out. Management clearly does not care and prioritizes profit while providing the least possible amount of service. This was the highest cost property we stayed in on our cross country journey with the least value of any economy stay.

The ceiling in the bathroom was really something that needed to be addressed. Was moldy, and the paint was bubbling. The rest of the property was great and the staff was helpful.

Furniture old and chipped and ragged. No one at the front desk. Rang bell multiple times. Called the main line no one answered. Got phone from behind the counter and figured out how to call on it and they finally answered but then were aggravated that I called.

The front desk clerk was amazing. He was tending to all the guests. The property and rooms were nice and clean. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The hair dryer didn't work in our room and the tub was patchy but clean. I think the housekeeping could be a bit better but still a great place to stay. The front desk clerks would make it all worth it. He needs a bonus or raise! Awesome worker!

If you need a place to sleep, that's if you get to sleep due to the other pets and dogs barking in the building. And some of these upgrades are downgrades according to what I would look at not sure what was going on in the bathroom you might want to finish your weird paint job. The only reason why I'm going to stay here one more time is cuz I've already booked it. Hopefully it's a better experience in a different room.

Breakfast was very good. Lots of options and really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy. Room was clean but not a lot of lighting, a little dark. Curtains did well to block outside light. Beds were comfortable but the pillows were small (like throw pillows). Didn't use the pool but it looked nice and clean. No elevator to the second floor. Overall happy with our stay.

It would be great to see some upgrades around here. The hallway had a bit of a strong smell of Marijuana, and it’s easy to hear everything from other rooms. I heard a couple arguing word for word. I think breakfast should end around 10, similar to other hotels.

Room was clean, beds were comfortable, shower pressure was terrible, breakfast was not great. That being said, I would have stayed at this location again until I was locked out of my room at 8 am and there was NO staff to reprogram my key card. At least 5 other families had the same issue! Instead of having staff on site, they had a computer available to FaceTime with an offsite employee but no one was available offsite either. Someone eventually arrived and I was able to retrieve my belongings but by that time I was late for my appointment. I would never stay at this hotel again.

The heater in our room wasn’t working. Had desk clerk come help. He got it running but by morning it was blowing cold air again. At zero degrees outside, a working heater is necessary. Housekeeping woke us at 9 AM. Checkout wasn’t until 11 AM.

1. I was charged before I even physically checked in. I was planning to pay cash as Expedia booking advised I could pay at the hotel.
2. I did not get the room that I reserved.
At the moment I was going to complain since it was just about midnight. Was put in a double queen room.
4. They put me in a room with a conjoined door.
I’m a woman traveling alone with 2 children. I did not feel safe.
5. Got into the room, the light switch did not work. They had 2 lamps in the room, and it was freezing.
6. There were dirt smears all over the wall next to one of the beds.
7. The window was unlocked - glad I checked it.
8. Black mold in the shower on the ceiling.
9. The tv, coffee maker, fridge, microwave were plugged in an extension that was plugged into an extension.
10. The neighbors dog was loud and barking all night which honestly not even that big of deal.
11. The tv didn’t even work.
12. The closet was nasty along the walls and where trim should be.
13. Old looking, peeling, wall paper in the closet.
All in all was a HUGE disappointment.
I stayed at La Quinta the night before, was $50 cheaper, they gave my cat treats, everything worked and it was very clean.

Our door didn’t even close… you had to like pull it off the hinges to get it to shut. The breakfast was horrible lol. The wifi didn’t work. I had to use McDonald’s wifi the entire stay. The rate should’ve been like 70$ feels like a rip off to have paid almost 400$ for 2 nights with that being the state of the hotel.

This was just an ok property. The biggest surprise to me was that when they ran my credit card for any incidentals, there was a 1.00 charge. That charge has not been reimbursed, so it looks like they just keep it. Not a big enough deal to fight about but I won't be back.

Front desk service was fine. The guy there was accommodating when I asked for a first floor room. Cleanliness of room was pretty iffy. Hair in the bathtub and sink, a couple of the towels were suspect, we found bits of stuff on the floor that should have been picked up if a vacuum was done. Breakfast looked like it could haven been good, but when I got there, an hour before they closed, they were out of biscuts and potatoes. The only hot food left was some sausage and the dregs of some scrambled eggs. Would not reccomend.

Must be “remodeling” however the boxes and garbage cans were in hallways, and were even blocking the stairwell on one side. I think we were in a “remodeled” but the newer side tables were chipped up and broken on the corners. The room was clean but not clean to where I felt like I could go barefoot in the room. Should upgrade the mattresses if your remodeling as they were not the best. The free breakfast was OK but we waited for more of all the hot food for 20 minutes then just had toast. I would not stay here again. Staff was friendly but hard to understand as had very broken English the 2 that I spoke to but were very nice.

THE HOT WATER AND COLD WATER IN THE BATHROOM SINK WAS BACKWARDS. There was no hot water in the shower. The end table has blck stick tarry dots on the service. There was floss pick and dirt under the chair in the corner. One of the queen beds has a spring poking up. the mirror was not cleaned in bathroom. The whole bottom floor and our room smelled terrible. It stunk like Korean food had be cooked. There was no food at the continental breakfast. All pans were empty and it was only 8:30 am. Breakfast hours were
suppose to be 6-10 am on Saturday. the free Wi-Fi was not working. Came up with message \"no internet connection\". Never let me put in password that was provided . Was charged $ 20 pet fee and I THINK THAT I SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN CHARGED , considering the poor condition of room.

Disappointing stay in Jamestown ND

This hotel appears to be in disrepair and may be undergoing renovation, although when we checked in, we questioned this. We were told they were only painting the exterior of the building. In our first room the air conditioner did not work. We were given the room next door. The air conditioning was in working order in the second room. This room seemed to be in the process of being updated. However there was no door on the closet. The ceiling smoke alarm was removed, exposed wires were visible. A new one had been installed on a wall. It looked like the flooring had been replaced, but the bathroom did not have baseboards. Also, the bathroom door had a bent hinge and did not shut. There were holes in the bathroom wall where a new towel rack was installed and the fan did not fit the hole in the wall. This fan did not exhaust the moisture. The wall mounted hair dryer was not reinstalled. It was just thrown into a makeshift cabinet. The bathroom ceiling appeared to have some mold. The exterior door in the back of the hotel did not lock.

This property was relatively clean, but was a dump.
Poor upkeep, poor service, no pride in what they offered. No effort to make it better. It's been this way for several years. Didn't care if we were unhappy with the surroundings when asked how our stay was.
Breakfast was sub par, cold & incomplete, went to MacDonald's next door instead. I've stayed here 3 times over the past few years, each time it gets worse. I will not be back. It is not a $120 /night hotel. Maybe $80 is even too high, at least you would know not to expect much.
Knock it down, build something new. The property value deserves at least that much.
Comfort Inn franchises are out of touch with price and what they are offering. If the property is 1 to 2 stars, the price should reflect that. Quit leading people on.
I'll take my chances elsewhere next year.

I booked this property because it said it provided breakfast and had a pool. The pool was closed and the breakfast had no coffee, the juices were colored water. Cereal was offered but no milk. All other breakfast options weren’t plentiful enough for the number of guests. Our room was in need of maintenance but was pretty clean. When I checked in the desk clerk said the fee for my service dog was cash only which I found odd.

If the town had not been booked completely I would have left and found another hotel. The room had stained carpets and the couch (they tried to hide the couch stains (yes multiple) by turning over the cushions. The tv was miniature and comically small against the wall mounting. There were holes in the head board where I can only assume the bed/wall sconces should go but they had out dated lamps in the bedside. The room smelled of what can only be described as Indian food. Thankfully the bedding was clean. Like I had said, if I could have found a different room in town I would have left.

The front desk person did not speak very good English and was hard to understand. The shower only gave out lukewarm or cold water only, and the bed was hard. Would have liked a bathroom with a full counter. and the breakfast was cold with hard dried out bagels and almost gone by 8 a.m. I do not plan to stay here again.

Front desk help was unorganized and not aware of clean vs unclean rooms. First room given to us was still dirty from the last occupants. Went down to get a different room, front desk clerk began to help then started a phone call with someone on his cell phone and seemed to stop working on my room. Finally got another room with two queens, originally requesting king bed. Took it as it was late and wanted to get to sleep and not deal with the runaround., Talked with front desk the following morning about getting a refund of somesort.

Check-in was disappointing. Relatively new clerk said he had \"bad news\"--the first floor room we reserved months earlier was unavailable. We were given a room that literally the farthest distance from the entrance, lugging stuff for 3 people up 2 flights of stairs. During check-in I used the public restroom adjacent to the lobby. Utterly filthy. Trash containers outside the entrance were overflowing with garbage. Wifi was barely adequate but beds were comfortable and everything worked. Regardless, we'd never return to this place.

Dirty, smelled dirty, floor was dirty. Bathroom shower kept dripping all night long, we didn't even use the shower. Found old food on the floor and some wrappers to candy or other food. Mattress was lumpy, the couch was stained and dirty. No elevators so you had to carry everything up the stairs. Breakfast was ok.

It was a very late checkin. Good thing they had availability though Expedia. Comment is that they use microfiber bedsheets that is too warm to use if you are a very hot person.
The room given was for the other able persons. Someone used it before me. Strong urine or animal scent was in the room, too. I was tired and too tired to argue to look for other available rooms.

We arrived later in the evening and were exhausted we just needed to get some sleep. No elevators. The carpet in our room was very worn and stained, but the bed looked clean and no bugs. I realized after we brought up our bags that the shampoo was half used…so I threw out the bottle. Then we noticed the tv kept cutting out…no a big deal, we were going to bed anyway. Went to the main floor to get some ice for the cooler and noticed that just outside the pool a portion of the ceiling had fallen in due to a water leak. So, they had put a bucket there, a caution sign, and didn’t even clean up the pile of ceilings tiles that had fallen down….ok, no worries, we weren’t using the pool anyway…so……Got back to the room, got into bed and noticed the dried bloody mucus on the side of the bed side table….yep, gross….but still exhausted, so we moved the table so that I didn’t accidentally touch it and got some sleep. Needless to say, we will not be staying at this hotel again.

The brown shades in the room could tell you a story about the dust bowl days, they need to be replaced. The ceiling in the bathroom needs painting, water stains look like poop on the ceiling. The lawn needs cutting. If you have time to suck on a cigarette you have time to pull weeds and cut the lawn. I would to kick butt. But that’s not my job. The breakfast was so bad I wouldn’t feed to a dog. No nobody takes pride in their work. See what you can do and get back to me. Timothy
