The staff at check in were polite and helpful. There's a convenience store off the lobby, nice to have that. The room was clean and had everything you would expect. The very special thing this hotel has to offer is the excellent natural hot springs bath, free to hotel guests (not coed). If you are a hot springs fan like me, you should definitely stay here.

Beddings were clean and didn't have bad order. Howevver the carpet in the lobby was not tidy. There were small debries scattered around the area.

The hotel is in a convenient location, with easy access to the train station and to cafes and restaurants, and with a convenience store next to reception. The rooms are reasonably comfortable and equipped, but generally the place looks like it could do with some refurbishment. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The most significant problem for us was that the WiFi is pretty terrible - at times we couldn't even connect, let alone play YouTube videos.

Business hotel with minimum amenties. Layout of room strange as unable to open cupboard doors (blocked by bed). Hotel and cafe not in communication as hotel staff told ice available from cafe. However, cafe staff informed that they do not provide ice to guests but we can buy drinks from them.

Good location but hotel is in need of repair. Wallpaper is bubbled and coming off from moisture exposure, faucets and attachments are not properly fixed to the wall, wasn't the cleanest. It wasn't bad but it needs TLC.

I was really happily surprised with this hotel. So roomy and comfort for the family unit. Their hot spring water was so good downstairs. Even in the hotel room, you can use BIG bathtub with their awesome hot spring water. Comfort and clean beds and everything. I strongly recommend this hotel.

Rooms desperately need renovation
This was the second hotel that I booked in South Korea where the photos promised a remodeled and newly furnished room, but what I got had not been remodeled for decades. The bed sheets and towels were clean and were replaced daily. But whether the room was cleaned regularly was hard to tell, since the carpet, wall paper and most of the furniture were so old that I did not dare touching anything, let alone walking barefoot on the carpet. There are supposed to be some remodeled rooms in this hotel, but nobody in my party got one. The exterior and lobby look fairly modern, but the modern look ends at the elevator to the rooms. The breakfast was a disappointment, too. I had much better breakfast in other hotels in South Korea, which were often included in the price.

온양제일호텔은 호텔지배인이 매우 친절합니다. 콜을 받아도 최고로 받는 것에 높은 만족을 합니다. 호텔이 오래되었지만, 비교적 착한 가격으로 좋은 온천으로 어머님을 모시고 편안하고 여유롭게 쉬었다가 왔습니다. 온양온천이 올드한 시골시내이지만, 이충무공 고택을 버스 1번으로 갈 수 있고, 최고의 추천장소입니다. 친절한 지배인과 이충무공 고택이 기억에 남습니다.

방도 넓고 괜찮고 냉방도 잘되고 깨끗해요. 몇군데 미흡한데가 있긴한데…국내외 어딜가도 거진다 그래서 그냥 제가 하고 맘. 조식은 코로나때문에 메뉴가 바껴서 안가봤어요. 코로나가 끝나야 지하 목욕탕도 가보는데 ㅎ. 일찍 일어나거나 늦게 가기 귀찮아서 아직 못가봄.

먼지가 조금 많긴한데 그거 제외하고는 만족합니다. 욕실이 유리라 조금 부담스럽네요 ㅎㅎ.. 코로나라 사우나를 못가본게 아쉽네요 ..단축 운영하긴 하는데 아무래도 타인과 마주치면...그리고 아산 이마트보다 호텔 편의점이 더 싼 물건이 많은듯 ㅎ..이마트 괜히 갔어...유선인터넷도 이용할수있다고 하는데 방안에는 랜선이 따로 없네요. 프론트에서 대여할수있는지는 모르겠습니다. 가져간 랜선을 사용했음.

고객에 대한 무례한 태도 수정해야지 그 젊은 여직원 언젠가 큰코 다칠겁니다.
그외 다른 남자직원들은 매우 상냥하고 친절합니다. 체크인할때 남자 직원분들이 담당했으면 기분좋은 여행이 되었을텐데 아쉬웠습니다.
청소: 일박에 8만원가까이 받아놓고 침대와 바닥 한가운데에 고추장과 음식부스러기가 보란듯 있습니다. 아예 청소자체를 안합니다.

기어다니는 아기가 있어서 체크인하자마자 마루바닥을 쓸고 닦았는데 두번을 닦아도 까만게 묻어나더라구요. 머리카락도 많았구요. 침대 밑 근처는 먼지가 그득..ㅜ 그래도 그 부분만빼면 친절하고 온천물은 말할것도 없고 조용히 잘 쉬다가 왔습니다. 시설 낙후야 감안한다지만 청소는 좀더 깨끗할 필요가 있어요.
