Clean and tidy but a bit dated. A few things needed fixed and updated. In a nice quiet spot by a river but the property had very thin walls. We heard the people above us all night thumping around and water running in the bathrooms above. Didn’t get a good night’s sleep because of that. The staff were friendly though.

This was a beautiful location with a private lake. The property was newer and had new carpet and a new bathroom. The fridge in the room was appreciated! We also enjoyed a balcony on our room. The breakfast was a pretty standard buffet. We enjoyed watching the boaters across the way and the sun go down over the mountains. Plenty of parking and a shared laundry in each \"condo\" unit. If you have a car this is a very nice and quiet place to stay, but also still very close to Cromwell with its shops, cafes, and restaurants.

The resort was in a really peaceful location next to its own Marina. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. The balcony was a nice place to sit at and look out over the mountains and marina in the morning and afternoon. Kitchenette was equipped with all we needed to make teas and coffees and prepare fruit and yoghurt in the morning and heat croissants but we did try the restaurant for dinner (ribs and steak very good as well as the cheesy tear and share bread).

Some points to note were our spa bath didn't work and the hotel listing orginally said it had an outdoor pool (please be warned it doesn't) but reported both to reception so hopefully will be rectified for next guest and we would stay again if in the area.

Really lovely outlook from our room overlooking the lake.
Our upper level room had a small balcony (other have huge outdoor areas) but all overlook the lake.
Good size ensuite and a comfortable lounge where you can sit and watch tv.
Restaurant was also really nice with a good selection to chose from.
Highly recommend staying here

We made a last minute reservation and were well impressed by easy access and good location to wander the Central Otago area, as well as per the attentive check in process. Our unit was exactly as described in the website, with comfortable beds and new linen, and lots of light. The only comment I had that I shared during the check out was the strong smell that was in the unit, not sure whether was coming from construction/paint materials but required extra ventilation. Beyond that, it was a pleasant stay.

Check-in closed 5 minutes early, leaving us to drive around trying to locate our 'room'. The 'resort' is in a residential estate area, apart from a restaurant on site we could not really see anything special about this place. It did have a nice large king bed and heated bathroom floor and a bath tub, other than that, nothing special about the place and we had to lugg our luggage up to the top floor, despite asking for a ground floor room due to mobility issues.

We thought we were going to be late, so arranged a late check in, which was seamless.
The air con was on, but didn't need to be as this made the room cold. The room itself was pleasant and clean and the apartments view looked relaxing.
We felt the washer/dryer option was misleading with the booking as this turned out not to be in our room but no mention of where this was. Following a 4 day hike was one of the reasons we chose to stay here.
Sadly the rooms were not sound proof either as the couple below had an argument past 12am and we could hear it all.

Although called a lakeside resort, this is more like a motel and there is no access or view of the lake if you are mountainside. You need to leave the property after a short walk to get any view of the lake. The furniture in the rooms is old and worn. The curtains, walls, and appliances are all dirty. I was placed in a room with a filthy bed. I was changed rooms to one with a clean but everything else was still dirty. This place is not worth the cost.

Feels like you live in a room in a townhouse, not a hotel. Located in a harbor of a lake. Rooms are good, we can see the lake from the window and in the patio. Parking is easy. Close to a small town to get supply if you are driving.

The biggest issue was no WiFi. We called and was told they works on it, but we had nothing. We couldn’t plan our next day trip.

The dryer didn’t work and that was one of the selling points for this location.

The shower head cord connection was broken and the floor was always flooded. There were bugs (dead luckily) in the bathroom and it was our fault for not confirming but for those with mobility issues make sure you don’t get assigned to a C room. The stairs were steep and so difficult to get our luggage up to the room.
We checked in after hours and they were awesome to send us info on how to get our keys, but we had no idea where to park or if we can use the garage or what.

Now with all that said. The view of the lake was beautiful and the room was clean sans the bathroom bugs. If they can get their wifi working (whe we mentioned it at check out she was not surprised and was just like ya sometimes we just don’t get any wifi. So they know.

People above us were extremely noisy most of the night.

The unit was stay in was supposed to have a kitchen, there was no stove top. It has a microwave which is fine. There is however no sink therefore we had to wash our dishes in the bathroom and dry them in the bathtub. Other than this minor inconvenience the place is perfect.

We kept away from the busier Queenstown and within a good driving distance to the skiing resorts for the 4 days there. Clean and modern rooms, close to Cromwell to drive in for dinner.
