Desk staff was fairly accommodating considering the language barrier. Amenities were decent, but lacking body lotion which you can get if you ask for it. We would have liked a bar soap in addition to the pump cleanser. Housekeeping staff was excellent, willing to supply us with extra water and whatever else we needed…as we opted not to have our room cleaned every day. Breakfast was decent; enough so we didnt seek out other breakfast options elsewhere. Nice to just go down to the breakfast room daily. Annoying was the nightly dumpster emptying after midnight, but nothing csn be done about that. I would recommend this hotel to others. Convenient location.

I liked the cleanliness of the room, the comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff! The breakfast was fine as well and the location was in a walking distance from the Metro station!
The major downside was the rather noisy traffic and the tapas bar over the road, keeping you awake late at night. The neighbours were also quite loudly with not much privacy left!

Beautiful little hotel. I was so happy to see how clean everything was. The staff ( especially the breakfast staff) were very attentive and sweet. The front desk needs to smile a little more. He always seemed perturbed. I would definitely go back. Bed was comfortable. Water pressure and temp were amazing. Air conditioner worked super well. I was very impressed! Had a nice stay here. It was half way between the city and where I had a meeting. Enjoyed being able to walk even though the traffic is crazy in Madrid. Nice breakfast but could have more healthy options. Would have liked a gym and pool given the cost of the hotel.

The front desk staff was not helpful at all. They were unfriendly at best and outright rude on occasions. Additionally we got to the self-service breakfast with 15 min remaining and only wanted a piece of toast and a cup of coffee and we were made to put our dishes down and told we were too late and to leave. We asked to borrow a pair of scissors and upon returning them to the front desk in a timely manner, the clerk slammed them on the counter as we walked away. We were there for a joyful concert and they made us feel horrible to even walk through the lobby.

I did not have a positive experience at this hotel. I found the staff to be extremely rude and cold. Part of the reason I chose this hotel was because of the good reviews and because there was an included breakfast. We were traveling on a budget so this seemed ideal. When I checked in I was told that it wasn’t included, which is fine obviously there was a miscommunication with the booking site. But the way I was told was rude and unapologetic. I wasn’t expecting special treatment, but a simple “I apologize there must’ve been a miscommunication” goes a long way. I was made to feel like an annoyance when I was very friendly to them. I honestly felt that way every time I interacted with the staff, with both the front desk and the woman monitoring the breakfast (after paying for it). I am not usually one to write a negative review, but I just had such a negative experience from the moment I walked in the door to when I left. I felt very unwelcome. Especially being my first trip to Madrid, it was saddening to have it start off with an unwelcoming feeling that lasted my whole stay. Even though it was extremely clean and quiet, given my experience I would never recommend this hotel.

It was a very nice hotel with great service. The only complaint I would have is that I requested a room with a double bed and got two twin beds pushed together instead. The beds kept moving apart when I slept on them and I would have preferred they told me there was no double beds available and I would've been fine with a twin.

Conveniently located in a great part of Madrid, the Leonardo Boutique hotel offered even more than expected. The room was clean, comfortable, and modernized with all the latest amenities. The shower was my favorite part of the bath area. Being well over 6 feet tall, I usually have to scrunch down to get under the shower head at most places. But the Leonardo’s adjusted above my head for an invigorating rain shower. I was most pleased with my stay and would highly recommend the Leonardo Boutique to any of my friends visiting Madrid.

This is a wonderful hotel, I’ve stayed here 3 different times. Unfortunately there are neighborhood trash bins on the side street that get emptied every night after midnight. The air in Madrid is lovely and I like to sleep with the windows open. Be prepared for street noise as this is a late night neighborhood crowd and some bars open til 4am. The rooms are small but adequate. The location is near the metro and lots of shopping and bistro opportunities,

The hotel is newly refurbished, the room is small but good size for a few days stay, the bathroom is in great condition, shower is very good, hot water and great pressure. The beds are comfortable and the room had a small fridge that actually kept drinks cold. The view isn’t very inspiring from the window but it’s not a bad view. The hotel is a ten minute walk to Canal station which isn’t far from the main attractions. The breakfast buffet was fresh and had a great selection, the coffee isn’t to my taste, but the fresh fruit, scrambled eggs and bread selection was lovely. If I returned to Madrid I would use the hotel again all in all 9/10.

The staff were accommodating and helpful with getting a taxi to the airport upon departure and in correcting an error on the bill. Their breakfast is not included in the room stay, and that was not clear when I booked this hotel. If that was the case I would have likely stayed somewhere that did include a free breakfast. The breakfast is expensive (15 euros per person) and is not worth it. You can eat at local cafes for much less and the food is better. When we tried to take some food up to our room to finish our breakfast we were told that was not allowed. So you can pay the 15 euros and eat all you want downstairs but not up in your room. We were not happy with that policy. Overall the stay wasn't bad but if I visit Madrid again I will look for a different hotel.

I enjoyed our stay in Madrid very much. It was inordinately hot while we were there and the air-con proved a bit of a challenge because each time you returned to your room it was very hot, but as soon as the air-con was on it was quick and effective and the room soon cooled. The staff were helpful and pleasant, and my daughter was able to print documents that she needed from the public computer. We all appreciated the WiFi, which worked well.

We were 6 friends staying all at the Leonardo boutique hotel in different rooms and floors. It was perfect for us. Room was not too spacious but had everything needed. Good bed and pillow. Great hotel for the price and for a 3 star property. Staff at checkin was a bit overwhelmed so not super welcoming but overall great. Location is good, near a metro station and about 30 minute walk from downtown. I would recommend

The hotel is very chic and has a lovely lobby. The rooms are very nice and the beds are fairly comfortable. I love the decor and theme throughout the hotel and appreciate the prompt turn down service. The only down side as far as the amenities are that the rooms don't have microwaves and they are a bit cramped. I think if they removed some of the unnecessary furniture it would feel more open and spacious. I am incredibly disappointed with the demeanor of the staff. They were very rude and seemed to have an attitude every day with the exception of the late night elder gentleman. The breakfast is also way overpriced. The hotel also doesn't have a true bar within although on first glance it appears to. Overall if they addressed the attitude issues with the front desk staff I'd probably recommend this hotel and stay there again.

I only stayed here because I was attending a conference at a university nearby and the public transport was manageable. If you want a more lively Madrid experience, I'd recommend staying somewhere more central. The location is fantastic, as it is close to many great restaurants. He hotel is comfortable and very clean. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Overall it is a great place to stay. The only negative is that the breakfast is very expensive for what you are getting, which is basic breads, cold meat and cheeses. Perhaps they might consider reducing the price of their breakfast or adding some more choices, which would include some hot foods, as I noticed that not many guests ate here for breakfast.
