The hotel was in a convenient location for visiting the National Parks, but this hotel wasn’t as nice. The key maker wasn’t working when we got there, so we had to have an employee let us into the rooms whenever we were going back into the rooms. The breakfast didn’t have any hot options, and the things there didn’t look good, so we went somewhere else to eat.

It was nice that the bedside lamp had electrical receptacles, however these receptacles were worn out and wouldn't hold a plug. They did not work. The lamp needs to be replaced. There was also a clock with usb charging ports, but it was unplugged or broken (dead) and we were too tired to excavate the area to find the problem.

Overall it was not a bad place to stay. My average rating was due to the television not working, the mini fridge freezing everything then not working. My room was clean when I arrived but no maid service the 3 days I was there. To pay $400 for 3 days for a so so hotel... was unfortunate.

This hotel is in need for a serious overhaul in every aspect. Trash cans in the parking lot area overfull, parking lot not cleaned up, walkway into mid hotel first floor entry not clean, carpet inside along hallway leading to rooms very dirty, the step up into the bathroom in the room is a tripping hazard, poorly lit rooms, rooms not real clean, bathroom needed complete upgrade, TV would arbitrarily change channels on its own, etc. Just not a very good hotel. Don't know how it got the 8.6 rating by previous patrons but that rating is well overrated. I would not stay in this hotel again.

It was a great place for one night. We slept well and were able to walk to dinner and around downtown Gunnison. We were on the bottom floor and it was a bit noisy with the person upstairs walking around. We didn’t end up doing the continental breakfast. Definitely a good option for a short stay.

It is an older hotel that has been upgraded a bit, but still dated. My single-king room was cramped as was the breakfast room. But the staff--desk agent, breakfast hostess and maids were ALL universally pleasant and helpful, making the stay enjoyable.

Great location, it’s within walking distance of downtown and Western Colorado university. There’s a park across the street and I was traveling with my dog so that was very convenient. The staff was excellent, friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

I fell in love with this hotel, I come every week to Gunnison for work. I used to enjoy the comfort inn but the staff interaction is just painful. Every time I come to quality inn, the person who checks me in is just so enthusiastic it becomes contagious. I also appreciate the gym and hot tub every time I stay here.

We were passing through on a motorcycle trip. The room was very clean. They were excellent about anything we asked for. The staff at the front desk did not speak very good English so that was a little difficult, other than that it was a great stay.

Despite a little mixup with the room (which after some back and forth the hotel staff finally agreed was their mistake (well, one of their vendors apparently)), the stay was great! The staff was very friendly overall, and after the room mix-up and free upgrade, they did come to my room to apologize in person which was nice.
The room and bed was comfortable, and the breakfast options were good. Love me a waffle. I was upset on my second morning when I got there 30 minutes before it ended and the waffle batter was gone and wasn't refilled.
Overall my wife and I enjoyed our stay over July 4 weekend because the fireworks show was in the park next door so it was pretty much right over the hotel, and it's only 30 minutes from Crested Butte.
