This little hotel was amazing. Very pet friendly, awesome pool and hot tub, and the breakfast was excellent. It included eggs, sausage, bagels, waffles coffee, muffins etc. The room was very clean and the bed was super comfortable with lots of pillows. Such a life saver when we got stuck in a snow storm, but i will be back just for fun!

We stayed here for one night on our way to another part of Colorado, and while the check-in staff was a bit cold, everything else about the place was good, especially the staff at the desk in the morning -- they were delightful and so kind. The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet despite neighbors in adjacent rooms, and the place was clean and well maintained. Breakfast options were good. The setting just outside Gunnison is lovely, and we especially liked the rocking chairs around the fire pit, surrounded by tall evergreens. It's possible to walk to town but only on a grassy shoulder, no sidewalk, so that's not ideal. But it's a very easy drive to town (about 2 minutes), where there were good restaurants, at least one of which stayed open past 8 pm. This was our second time staying at this hotel, and we would stay again.

We picked the Inn due to a change in our itinerary while touring the area. A bit on the expensive side but an excellent choice. The grounds are nice and well kept, and the room was spacious, clean and surprisingly quiet during the night. The small fridge and microwave were a great plus, as is the coffeemaker (couldn’t use due to wrong inserts). Very good breakfast, with eggs and bacon, waffle maker, cereal and quite a few options. The stuff is professional and very helpful.

They even had a bonfire going at night, which was such a fun surprise! Perfect for roasting marshmallows and making s’mores.

Our room had a strange odor to it, and we ended up purchasing Lysol spray in town to remedy it. Service was friendly. Ice machine broke down and new one had not arrived yet. The setting was wonderful! All in all, this property has great possibilities, but badly needs updating, repairing, remodeling.

It’s an old run down property… everything in it is old and doesn’t work properly. The pool area is old and run down and worse smells of natural gas to heat the hot tub. This hotel was definitely not the highlight to visiting my child at college for the first time. The breakfast however was mediocre.

The only drawback to this place is that they gave us a room behind a janitor’s closet without a front picture window. All the other rooms had big picture windows with a view. When I asked the lady at the front desk if we could switch to a room with a front picture window , she replied that she couldn’t do that because we had booked through a third party .

Location is great on the outskirts of town, so it was quiet and has nice outdoor areas for lounging around. Friendly service and a clean room, albeit a little dated.

There was a large stain on the sofa (room 66). A couple of wall scuffs (easily touched up with paint) and a bathroom in need of some updating (the shower especially) or even replacing the sink faucet & drain would help.
However, the main reason for downgrading \"comfort\" for me was four of the most lumpy pillows I have ever had to sleep on! I honestly had to laugh and I even took a picture. What an easy thing to fix!
