Lovely property. For us it was nice being outside of town -- driving in is no big deal. It's kind of an old-school motel, so don't expect the rooms to be large or fancy. Really nice staff. Breakfast was good. Outdoor seating area is nice, but I wish the dog toilet area wasn't between the rooms and that area.

There were some nice upgrades in this hotel room that made it feel a cut above other similar hotels. The furniture, wall colors, art on the walls, wood ceiling in the bathroom— all made for a pleasant, comfortable experience. We also liked the trees and grassy areas and the comfortable chairs for sitting outside. The breakfast with omelettes and waffles and high quality coffee was very satisfying. And the staff was very friendly. Also liked the fact that it was dog friendly (even though we didn’t have our dogs with us on this trip). But I always appreciate hotels that are pet friendly.

We stayed here for one night on our way to another part of Colorado, and while the check-in staff was a bit cold, everything else about the place was good, especially the staff at the desk in the morning -- they were delightful and so kind. The beds were comfortable, the room was quiet despite neighbors in adjacent rooms, and the place was clean and well maintained. Breakfast options were good. The setting just outside Gunnison is lovely, and we especially liked the rocking chairs around the fire pit, surrounded by tall evergreens. It's possible to walk to town but only on a grassy shoulder, no sidewalk, so that's not ideal. But it's a very easy drive to town (about 2 minutes), where there were good restaurants, at least one of which stayed open past 8 pm. This was our second time staying at this hotel, and we would stay again.

We picked the Inn due to a change in our itinerary while touring the area. A bit on the expensive side but an excellent choice. The grounds are nice and well kept, and the room was spacious, clean and surprisingly quiet during the night. The small fridge and microwave were a great plus, as is the coffeemaker (couldn’t use due to wrong inserts). Very good breakfast, with eggs and bacon, waffle maker, cereal and quite a few options. The stuff is professional and very helpful.

The building is definitely older, so there’s a bit of wear and tear, but overall they do a great job keeping everything clean and comfortable for its age.
Breakfast was your standard continental spread; the eggs were a bit salty for my taste, but everything else was solid. The staff was excellent, super friendly and welcoming.
They even had a bonfire going at night, which was such a fun surprise! Perfect for roasting marshmallows and making s’mores.

Parking was easy. Very old hotel and it was hard to tell if it was clean or not. The carpeting really needed cleaning badly. It is a Motel!!!!

The Inn was just generally a nice place to stay. Food was excellent. Easy to park. Room was clean. Over the years, going back to the 1960's this is the place I stay when I am in Gunnison. Yes, My wife and I are old now.
