We just needed somewhere for an overnight stop on our journey by train from Spain to the UK (Eurostar via Paris). The 25 minute walk from and to the station was fine. Found a nice restaurant nearby for dinner. Nice location by the river. A bit confusing being called both the Miradour and the Ibis. Not quite sure what's going on there!

The staff we incredibly kind and friendly. They were very helpful and made us feel comfortable. The bedding and towels were very clean. Sadly the room we stayed in had a horrible stench of being a smokers room that had been vented a lot but still had a disturbing odour of cigarettes. The toilet and shower cubicle also stank of sewerage. The room was exceptionally dated.
All in all we didn't sleep well and were disappointed by the poor quality of the room.

Lovely place to stay. They allowed me to park my motorcycle by the bike store with cctv. Nice and secure. Receptionists extremely helpful, and a lovely breakfast in the morning. They also have a spa which I didn’t know about or use. Only a short stroll to the centre of Dax. I will definitely stay again.

Just what you would expect from a good Ibis hotel. A purpose built hotel with the same standards as other higher status Ibis concerns. Overlooking river and reasonable central position. Lacking in individual personality so walked to central area for food where variety and old town feel.

The main problem with this hotel is that it changed its name at some point in the past few years. We stayed at it about ten years ago and really enjoyed it. When booking this time, we looked for the Dax Ibis bit couldn't find it on Hotels.com. so I settled on the Miradour. We spent an hour driving around Dax but couldn't find the Miradour so, in desperation, called in at the hotel we knew as the Ibis, inly to realise it was now called the Miradour. The new name, above the main entrance, was so tiny that we'd not noticed it. No one we stopped and asked had heard of the Miradour.
We also thought it was not as good a hotel as it had been the last time we stayed there. The restaurant was pretty good, though.

Les salariés ont été cordiaux avec nous, par contre les installations sont très anciennes. Le chauffage est médiocre ou presque inexistant. Pour être venus en janvier, nous avons passé une nuit dans le froid. L’hôtel a besoin de travaux plus adaptés aux conditions climatiques actuelles.

Es ist ein schönes Drei-Sterne IBIS-Hotel mit schönen Zimmern und Blick auf den Fluss, mit Balkon. Direkt im Zentrum und Nähe der Therme. Sehr freundliches Personal. Zu Fuß ca. 15 min zum Bahnhof. Alles sauber und in Ordnung. Absolut zu empfehlen.

On connaît cet hôtel nous sommes venus en mai l accueil etait plus convivial c est pour cela que nous sommes revenus mais mais le monsieur de l accueil n etait pas très agréable pas comme la première fois.Bon on va mettre cela sur la fatigue après les fêtes de Dax on oublie on reviendra quand même.Petit déjeuner excellent copieux très frais et les services au top à bientôt quand même.

Très bien accueilli. Une grande chambre sans vis à vis avec une très belle vue sur l’Adour. Une bonne literie, toilettes séparées, et le ménage parfait. Le buffet du petit déjeuner vraiment top!! Génial ! Et le matin du 25 décembre nous avons trouvé accroché à notre porte des chocolats ( d’un chocolatier) dans une très jolie déco de Noël ! C’est une attention qui nous a fait vraiment plaisir. 3 nuits au calme avec un personnel attentif et très aimable. Un hôtel très bien dirigé.

Ca a été un séjour inadmissible. Les draps pas changés d'une nuit à l'autre et on ne pouvant pas s ' allongé et après on a eu des démangeaisons .C'était très sale. Le veilleur de nuit alcoolise les clients qui sont déjà au bord de l'évanouissement. (Coma éthylique) les réceptionnistes vous manquent de respect en vous traitant de menteur. La nourriture du restaurant est atroce le poisson même pas coupé. Nourriture écoeurante. Le personnel irrespectueux et désagréable. En plus nous sommes dans le métier de hôtellerie -restauration. Je pense que ça ne mérite pas ces 3 étoiles de plus nous avons honoré notre facture payé acquittée. Nous demandons un dédommagement . On pourrait informer Que choisir et l ' émission de Julien Courbet ayant un oncle qui travaille à TF1. Merci beaucoup de votre reelle compréhension .
