Cons: The internet was very slow, I pretty much had to use my data and turn off Wi-Fi. It was also public, so not sure about safety there. There are almost no English channels other than the news and there was no streaming capabilities with the tv, we were told that upgrade is in progress. The bathroom light would turn off for us at night and would not turn back on until maybe 30 minutes later after playing around with the ancient switch. Thank goodness for the hallway light. The hotel is 125 yrs old so it has old bones. I normally would not get into all of these details but for a 5 star hotel and $700 a night, most of these things need to be fixed or improved. I think it should be advertised as a 4 or 4.5 star hotel. Throw in a free breakfast or something too...

This is our 4th stay at Hotel Regina. We have been coming here for the past 20 years. The location is excellent. For the price, you get a far superior room than you would at any of the other \"fancier\" hotels where we have also stayed (Meurice, Crillon, Ritz, Georges V). The staff is attentive. The concierge helped me arrange Michelin starred restaurant reservations and transportation in advance of our stay. The rooms have been updated. We love the view of the eiffel tower suites. Overall, 5 stars. We will keep coming back. Plus great location, just by the Louvre in the 1st arrondissement, so close to many attractions.

We had a fabulous stay! Benoit, on check in offered an upgrade to a room with an Eiffel tower view for our last day. He was so nice to our family. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are larger than expected. Comfortable beds and AC worked well. Easy travel from the CDG airport train with one switch on the metro. Very convenient location to everything. Great breakfast. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I was very happy with my choice to stay here and would definitely stay again.

This was my second stay at the Hotel Regina and it did not disappoint. Was here with my husband and it was such a treat. Customer service was exceptional and they accommodated an early check in. The room was very comfortable and the amenities were excellent. The mattress and bed was super comfy and allowed us to rest well. Housekeeping was on pointe with everything. Would absolutely recommend as it was central to all the places we wanted to visit. Very easy to walk to the Louvre, Tuileries Garden, Musée de l'Orangerie, Champs-Élysées, Arc De Triomphe, the River Seine etc. The weather was perfect for walking and exploring.

Although the hotel is in a great and convenient location, the rooms are a bit tired. The carpeting is old and the room we stayed at has an issue with the shower where the bathroom floor would get basically flooded after each shower. We also didn’t receive an Expedia VIP upgrade, even though I checked and they did have availability for the category above the room we reserved.

The hotel Regina was an unforgettable experience. As soon as you walk in you are quickly reminded why people come to Paris in the first place. Great cleaning staff great concierge and great Door men . Our stay was one of a kind . We opted for the Eiffel Tower facing room and I couldn’t recommend it enough the views were beautiful both at night and during the day . Walking distance from louvre and about 3 mins away walking from metro and bus stations to get everywhere else . We know where we are staying next time we are in Paris .

The Hotel Regina Lourve a is genuine and unique property where time has stood still over the years with unbridled ambiance and heritage. This is the only place to stay in Paris if you want to feel like you are visiting the city in the 19th Century. Regina my sweet!

The hotel is beautiful. The people were lovely. The concierge was always there to help. I did feel the air conditioning did not work properly in the rooms were a little small but they did try to fix it when we asked it was central location would definitely go back.

Typically, I prefer to stay on the other side of the Seine, but wanted a convenient location for my son’s first trip to Paris. Extremely walkable and within 500 feet of the Metro. Ubers were challenging through no fault of the hotel, as streets were blocked due to a music festival across the street at the Jardin Des Tuileries.
The staff was incredible, providing amazing service, responsiveness, recommendations, and water — thanks to a considerable heat wave throughout the city.
We will definitely stay here again.

This is a fantastic Hotel! The staff and management went above and beyond to see we had anything and everything we needed. They were professional, kind and very knowledgeable. You could not get a much better location, right in the middle of everything. The rooms were beautiful, clean and larger than expected. I travel a lot and was very impressed with the hotel and would recommend it to all.
