Nice hotel overlooking the bay of kotor.
Our room (economy double) was small but had a balcony overlooking the bay.
There are a small number of parking spaces in front of the hotel but they also allow you to park at the hotel next door.
It's a 40 minute walk into the old town of kotor.
The restaurant on site is nice, reasonable prices for the area and food was good.
Breakfast is cooked to order, theres a long list of options to choose from.

A good hotel away from the busy nature of Kotor, but this does make for a difficult drive on a narrow road, so be prepared for that.

Brilliant views over the bay, a wide range of breakfast choices, and a well featured menu for evening dining.

There isnt enough parking at the hotel, only about 5 spaces for 20 rooms. I was told I could not reserve any parking, yet when I arrived there was an empty space, which I was told I could not use as it was reserved. An alternative was offered but it was a little far away for peace of mind about the car safety.

The restaurant also did not (or would not) take card. \"Card machine failure\" is not an excuse in 2024. Fix it within hours or accept contactless payments to a mobile phone as a temporary solution, not difficult.

Gorgeous hotel with amazing staff. It has the view of the mountains and the water which were beautiful to wake up too. We were able to park our rental there with ease. They also have a restaurant which is amazing. I highly recommend staying here!

Brilliant Hotel

We had a great stay at Hotel Galia while exploring the beautiful country of Montenegro. The owners were very welcoming and friendly, the room was comfortable and the view of Kotor bay from the balcony was stunning! Dinner and breakfast were excellent and the service was great! We were there in the shoulder season (April) but the road to access the hotel was a little nerve racking at times as it’s a bit narrow and I wasn’t used to driving on the right but nevertheless it is perfectly manageable. Overall a great hotel to stay and I highly recommend!

Food is great, staff and owner are very friendly. Location is a little far from the kotor old town, but honestly it doesn’t matter. The location is great if you want to relax by the bay swim and durst.

Breakfast was included we got to choose from a menu. The food was amazing. We stayed in and ate dinner in the hotel as well one night the food was great better then going out to a restaurant. Rooms were big and clean.

On listing distance from Kotor City center was listed at .9km. (Within an easy walking distance.) Owner has since told us it is 3km. Breakfast was nice. WiFi was spotty. Address was difficult for us to find initially since was across the bay from Kotor city. Balcony off of room was a great view.

Stunning Views, Basic but clean and friendly.

The hotel is in Prcanj on the outskirts of Kotor itself. The walk to Kotor city walls is approx 45 minutes and the road has no pavement but cars don't hang around so be careful especially after dark. The staff were all friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was one big list, but its advisable that you like eggs as they come with pretty much everything in some shape or form! The room was basic but the amazing view over Kotor Bay made up for it. Would definitely recommend as a base to visit other places. The local taxis from Kotor Red were good value too, with a taxi from the hotel to the old town approx 3 euro and 12 euro to the airport in tivat.

No tea or coffee making facilities despite it being on our confirmation handout. Balcony was dirty looked like it hadn't been cleaned. Our bin was emptied but our room was left untouched, bed not made no dry towels. Bed was not comfortable and very low not good for someone with back problems.
On a plus the host was very pleasant and helpful. However I wouldn't stay here again.

Little Gem on Bay of Kotor

Hotel Galia is a lovely little hotel, 12 rooms, right on the Bay of Kotor, in the town of Prčanj. The room and bathroom were clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom could be improved if there were a hook on the shower wall to attach the hand-held shower head. Free wi-fi. The made-to-order breakfast had a variety of options. The personnel for the front desk, breakfast and housekeeping were friendly and helpful and spoke English. Room 11 has an amazing view of the bay. There is limited parking at the hotel. Drive into Kotor was 10-15 minutes. Be aware the you must pay at the hotel as they do not take payment at hotels.com.

Wonderful balcony view of Kotor Bay

My wife and I stayed for just one night. Easy to find. Crowded parking, but pretty easy to park our little rental car. Breakfast was more than expected. The view during the day, at night and in the morning was always breathtaking. Sharing photos seemed to place everyone in awe.

This is not actually in Kotor but a couple of towns past it. It was not easily accessible by car and the parking situation was substandard. The TV didn't work and we had to kill a couple of bugs when we entered the room. Also, the soap dispenser in the shower was completely empty.

Wonderful Hotel

I stayed 3 nights at Hotel Galia for the honey moon with my wife.

1. The personnel was very friendly, positive and with smiley faces.
2. The food in general and breakfast in particular was tasty and with quite big portions.
3. The room conditions were very good, silent, clean with an amazing sea view balcony. Rooms were cleaned daily.

My overall evaluation is: Wonderful hotel with an affordable prices.

Lovely hotel in a picturesque location

Situated in an outstanding and quiet part of Kotor Bay (Prcanj), this hotel, with its delicious hot breakfasts, good and friendly service, and a clean room with a stunning view of the Bay provided the ideal base for our holiday in Montenegro. We were able to drive in Kotor in under 10 minutes, passing lots of small and pretty little bayside towns, and were also well located for trips to Herceg Novi, Perast and Tivat. Would highly recommend - ask for room 12 for its breathtaking vista.

The manager is terrible and no hot water shower!!

No hot shower water in the room. then we went to talk to the manager. he switched us to another room. the second room finally had hot water, but you can only take hot shower for 5 mins. i was in the middle of shower, then had to shower in cold water for the second part and feeling sick. my friend also couldn't shower. hen we talked to the manager again. he said it's our problem. and then the next day we asked for discount on such a bad experience we had, he was really rude and said it's all our problem. he thought i didn't have money to pay. 't even said my payment signature is not the same as my passport signature and implied that i tried to pay using fake identity. what???? that's extremely rude.

A Credit to Tourism for Small Hotels

Polite, friendly, efficient and very kind owners and staff. The hotel was spotless from top to bottom, room was air conditioned and well appointed and had balcony overlooking the bay with stunning mountainous backdrop. Open air terrace or inside restaurant where the food was excellent quality, well cooked, nicely presented, served with a smile and very reasonably priced. Would definately return and would highly recommend.

Hotel with a view of Kotor

A clean hotel, and close by to Kotor. You still have to drive to Kotor, but it is a short drive. The staff is nice, and has a pleasant location that you can view the city walls of Kotor. Note: the road it is on is right next to the sea, and very narrow.

Beautiful hotel with cheap price

Despite of 4km distance to Old Town of Kotor this hotel is worth of visiting.

We spent the most romantic day and night in the hotel looking to Kotor Bay and mountains - from Balcony and comfortable king size bed!

Breakfast was not very good, neither the service, but I recommend the place due to excellent view and good price/quality ratio.

Very nice hotel on a hill in a small town about 4 Km from Kotor. Very quiet at night. Great view of Kotor. A beach less than 50 meters away. Sas'a served an nice variety of foods for breakfast. Dinner seafood choices were excellent and large portions.

My worst stay in Montenegro

We reserved a seaview room but they took extra money to give it to us.
3 building construction works around the hotel and they started to work loudly at 07.30 am.
The constructions closed all the seaview. You see the constructions instead of the sea.
Very weak beakfast.
No towels changed in 2 days.
Uncomfortable pillows.
They wanted us in a rough way to leave the room immediately at 10.30.
