Nice hotel for the money, with comfortable beds, nice bathroom, very pretty terrace as well as reception/restaurant/bar area (with shuffleboard!), and a tram stop steps away. The daily (gratis) breakfast was also pretty incredible - huge spread of savories and sweets including sandwich-making foods.

We booked a mini double and it was tiny but there was a drawer and hanger space. No coffee machine or fridge but there was a blow dryer and kettle with instant coffee. We found an ironing board in the hallway too late, and the sauna hours weren’t listed in the room literature so we missed out on using it, but it seems very chill and quiet in there. All the staff we met were very kind and helpful, the location is peaceful and a 10 minute walk to a grocery store and amazing restaurants. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor communal space to use, which makes up for the tiny bedroom. The buffet was plentiful with many options to support various diets and allergies and there are snacks available until late, in the lobby. I have a severe nut allergy and had no problems with cross contamination. Sensory stuff: The bed was small but very comfortable, and there was a nice mix of big lights and lamps. The bathroom floor will be wet at all times lol. We had a great time! Would definitely stay here again, maybe in a larger room.

A bit far further out from the main areas than we realised when booking and right on the Main Street which made it noisy when the windows were open. No air con so either noisy or hot at night! Otherwise the property was fine but expensive for what it offered. The family room however was spacious and the new decked area at the back was lovely in the morning.

I love staying here everytime I come to Gothenburg, they have the comfiest beds!! Breakfast is always tasty and a good choice. The terrace is a great suntrap, fab for relaxing with a beer and a book. Staff are always friendly and welcoming, what more could you want!

Our stay at the Spa Hotel was great and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only issues were with some unusual policies at the hotel and I’m not sure they are exclusive to the hotel or standard in Sweden.
1st, the standard room has no tea and coffee making facilities, you need to upgrade to get a kettle (they will provide tea and coffee at reception but no cups or kettle in the room).
2nd, you cannot buy a drink at the bar and take it too your room. You have to drink it in the bar area.
On a plus, breakfast is amazing and the transport into the city centre is right outside the hotel and very reliable and affordable.

The second and third day, beginning at 8 o'clock in the morning , someone started drilling right above my room. The drilling went on all day long. When I asked the front desk person, she had no idea. At least the hotel management should have mentioned that some type of construction or repairs is going on . Nothing of this is mentioned on the hotel site. Otherwise it is a great hotel

I did not like that we have not been informed that in order to have the room cleaned a towel replaced you need to tell them. In fact we we returned we found the room a mess. Furthermore the staff who come to bring us fresh towels was quite annoyed.
We were not made aware of the limited spaces in the car park we had to discover it by ourselves once returned to the hotel in the evening. Staff not very informative.
Breakfast is a plus full of options and on Saturday and Sunday it is available until 12:00 well done!

Dåligt handfat som var format på ett dåligt sätt, vattnat rann nära handfatsväggen så svårt att tvätta händerna. Hårfönen fungerade inte alls, den dog efter 10 sekunder. Inga eluttag vid sängarna och ingen AC på rummet. Och sov inte här om du inte klarar av oljud för spårvagnarna gick precis utanför.

Fint hotell i Göteborg med rom av god størrelse og gode senger. God frokost. Praktisk med trikk nesten rett utenfor hotellet som tar deg til sentrum på ca 15 minutter. Man kan laste ned app for å kjøpe trikkebilletter (spør i resepsjonen). Greit med parkeringshuset i kjelleren der man betaler med Easypark. Ca 200 SEK pr døgn. Litt upraktisk å ikke kunne betale for mer enn ett døgn om gangen for parkering. Eneste andre å trekke for oss var mangel på aircondition og litt støy fra trikken, men ikke plagsomt støyete heller. Vi sov godt, og dette var i juni. God service fra de ansatte i resepsjonen. Kan anbefale dette hotellet
