Room needed attention. Rusty bathtub and didn’t fully drain . There was also water damage on ceiling over bed. Tv is more like a computer monitor. Bathroom mirror was too high for my wife to use . She would have be 5’5” to use properly. Garment rack fell apart as I tried to move it to create space in the entrance. Very small room and not like the pictures advertised

Booked room to have 1 double and single bed for myself and 2 children. Arrived and said I had booked double only. Myself, and 2 kids all had to sleep on the same bed. No option to upgrade. Not polite staff. Cannot speak English.
Beds are hard. Air con is old school.
Ancient toilet.
Shower poor, water goes from hot to cold constantly.
You have to give your room key every time you leave.
Breakfast poor, the bread was rock hard and cakes not covered I saw a fly buzzing around.

We used it as a base right in the centre. But still felt very quiet and safe on the road. Two mins walk from the train station which is specifically what we were after. Easy to walk to main attractions from there. For a central hotel it absolutely did the job, very clean, good communication from staff, would stay here again if visiting Rome.

The cleaning and restaurant people were excellent. There were two gentleman at the front desk who were helpful, the rest were very dismissive and unfriendly. I felt I was more of an annoyance to them than a guest.

The breakfast food was used over and over. Stale bread, old pastries, rotten fruits. The only good thing was the coffee that was fresh.

The room had a very stale old smell and it was awful. The shower so small that I couldn’t turn around without banging my head on the slabs of marble. There was not a shelf to put the shampoo on so I had to bend over but couldn’t without running into the risk of shattering the brittle walls. It was simply awful. I could not shave my legs the entire time I was there. The tv that’s in the room was as big as my kid’s laptop.

I recommend that Expedia should go and check the hotels out and see for yourselves if it’s worth the money. It is the second time I use your services and both times is an err. I’m very disappointed with your recommendations especially when they are relatively high prices.

There are multiple stairs at the entrance of the property but no one available to help you carry your luggage up and down the stairs. Front desk was very rude and made me drop my key at the front before I went out to eat. He said “that’s how Italians do it”, are you new here, where are you from?. I had already stayed in multiple hotels/hostels that never did this. The room was sooo tiny and dirty. The room door was even sketchy and I had to close it twice, no automatic lock and only locks with a key

The location of the hotel is fantastic as it’s right next to the train station which connects you to all parts of the city and to other cities in Italy. We stayed in a refurbished room which was very clean. There were small details that might deter you including the fridge not keeping your items cool and the shower door not closing all the way but this didn’t keep us from enjoying our stay. This biggest takeaway is how quiet the rooms are despite being in a busy area of town.

The hotel was very close to the train station—just a 2-minute walk, which was very convenient. Overall, everything was good. The bed sheets were clean, but there was only a sheet on the bed, and since you need to use the air conditioning, it would have been nice to have a duvet or something thicker for warmth.

If you turn off the air conditioning, it gets too warm, and if you leave it on, it gets too cold at night. They did have a warm blanket in the closet, but it didn’t seem very clean—hard to say how long it had been sitting there.

Aside from that, the stay was good. One thing to note: hotels in Italy typically do not provide hair conditioner. They usually just offer two small bottles of shampoo and two very small bars of soap, so be sure to bring your own hair products.

The building’s exterior is in need of a fresh coat of paint to appear more presentable. Despite its convenient location near Termini and the surrounding busy area, its current appearance feels somewhat uninviting. Additionally, the bathtub is in poor condition and was not adequately cleaned, making it unsuitable for use. Overall, the property would benefit from a comprehensive renovation.

This hotel really needs improvement, especially the bathroom, considering the its price. I don’t think people could stay more than 1 day because you can’t take a relax shower , you are always worried the shower curtain will cover you. Cleanses is another concern even the sheet and pillows are clean enough. Only recommend for train and air transit stay

One thing to consider - Termini area is a little sketchy at night. I didnt have any bad experiences but theres an influx of homeless and unsavoury characters around the station late at night

Property is very close to the Train Station. The streets and company outside the building in the evenings was questionable. Witnessed a fight on the cornering building. We booked a 2 room for ourselves and the in-laws for 1 night to be close to the station. Air conditioning was nonexistent in the first room and very poor in the second attached room. Which would be fine in the cooler months. We were there in June. Staff was friendly but could not help with the air conditioning issue.

The check in staff were very pleasant and accommodating. our room was well worn and most disappointing was the black mold in the shower area of the bathroom. The lampshades in the lamps by the bed were stained as well. It just didn’t feel like even a three star hotel to us as far as the room. the morning breakfast was continental and the coffee was very good but the wait staff were not very pleasant. unfortunately I can’t recommend this hotel to my friends. I felt like it was not as advertised.

Great staff, can't praise front desk enough for being helpful. We even got done croissants to take with us on a very early mirning trip out to Amalfi Coast. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was very well organised and all fresh food. Location was good for restaurants, some shops and v near to bus terminal, which is great for picking up the hop on-hop off bus. Only negative was it can be a bit noisy at night, due to people outside. We overlooked the park area, which was lovely, but could hear traffic. Room was well laid out. We booked a triple room, which had two adjoining bedrooms and a bathroom. Very spacious. There are also two lounge areas downstairs, a bar area-which doubles up as part of breakfast self service, whilst staff take bfast drink order and two adjoining breakfast dining areas. All very clean and tidy. Would def stay here again if we return to Rome. Thank you!

The hotel is well sited near the main railway station with good links to all parts of Rome. Stayed there in November with two single rooms on different floors
The hotel was comfortable and the facilities were good. The hotel was generally quite but the rooms on the first floor found the reception area was sometimes a little noisy late at night with guest returning or arriving.
The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the rooms were well serviced every day.
The buffet breakfast was fine although a little tight for space when collecting items from the buffet area.
Overall though we very pleased with the stay, and would recommend the hotel.

Area surrounding hotel isn't great but that's what you get for the convenience of the train station. They also collect your key every time you leave the hotel but the reception is 24hrs. At night they lock the front door too so you have to ring/knock to get them to open it.

Kennedy Hotel is lovely. Well-kept property, great A/C, modern bathrooms, excellent staff. Location is amazing, just a couple blocks from Termini (which has the Mercato Centrale, a shopping mall underneath, and a fast train to the airport). My only suggestion for improvement is that the breakfast could use some sliced meats.

When in Rome, I often stay near Termini, then walk or take public transportation to the sites. Location is incredibly convenient. My room was clean, AC was cool. Water pressure was strong.

Breakfast was fine, although some additional fruits or cold meats would be appreciated. The bar listed is in name only and only operating during the breakfast hour for coffee. You will have to go elsewhere for an aperitivo.

The JFK art was a welcome surprise.

Very convenient hotel if you are looking to stay close to the train station. The only 2 complaints we have is that the AC in the room works with remote control and we were not given the remote. We had to climb up and manually turn it on. You also have to give them your room key everytime you leave the room. The parking garage is by the train station. There is no parking in front unless u get lucky enough to find a spot and want to pay €2 an hour.

We booked this room because it was close to the train station so that we could get to the airport easily. Our room was dated and was not as advertised in the photos. The paint was peeling in the bathroom tub, tv wasn't working, no fridge, no iron. Staff were nice and courteous. Unless they renovated it, I would not stay here. Booker beware, your room might not be what you see in the photos.

What I like about the Kennedy hotel in Rome? Well, the list includes location, building / arhitecture, check-in starting at 13h, good breakfast, comfy beds and extremely comfy pillows, the room furniture, the paintings and gravures on the walls ( a baroque Rome flavour), the tv - channels offer, the free wifi, the modern bathroom with good quality amenities and the very nice, careful and polite staff.

Property sits on a corner lot, next to a plaza/park did not provide AC even after asking for it on 2 separate times.. had to open the window for ventilation. Club close by would play music, people drinking, having conversations at the park etc. This would have been prevented by the hotel honoring the AC unit that they list as being available.

Only good thing is the location, as in close to the main station.. the area is extremely ghetto and sketchy. Most of the staff was decent except one man absolutely hated his job. He greeted us very rude , pretty much yelled at us when we walked in. Then insulted our country that we came from, not that I cared but most people would get offended. And on the day we checked out he was literally screaming in a lady’s face that got the wrong room. Telling her about how much he hates his job and doesn’t want to deal with her. Luckily we only stayed here 3 nights out of the 7 in rome. Stay elsewhere unless you need a quick stay right by the station .

The stay was a quick one, mostly for proximity to Termini. However the room and building interior were very nice. The exception was the restroom in the room, which was designed very awkwardly, with very little room to maneuver, and the shower was very problematic (shower door would not open/close very well, and we all struggled to do so). But the room itself, and even a view out the window onto ancient ruins, was very nice. Overall it was what we needed.

When my co-traveller arrived there was a misunderstanding at the reception and it took us an hour to check-in with the fear also of cancelling our reservation while already there. The facilities are old and the decoration is quite depressing. The breakfast was nice and the stuff was really helpful. The area is very central and convenient (close to the central station) but it didnt feel safe especially during the night. For a short stay, it is a value for money hotel.

Well, front lobby is hard to access. 2nd, we get there to the \"Hotel\" late at night. They sent us a block away to an apartment like building. They gave us 3 keys for 3 doors. Not as what it was described in photos and description. The only thing impressive was the Alexia. We left stuff and had a carrier pick them up. She was very courteous and communicative. The room was very small, no space around the bed to walk around. When I opened the door to the room, the door was touching the bed, that’s how small the room was. The bathroom was nice with a good rain shower. I was only spending the night to take a train the the airport, so it was good for me since it took me 2 minutes to walk to the terminal. I took a shower and went to bed, so it was fine for my needs. Had I wanted to spend more time there, the room is kind of small. I have issues with my knees and it didn’t help I had to carry a 25kgs suitcase up the stairs to reach the reception area to check in. The guy at the reception saw me come in and knew I was struggling to lift the heavy suitcase up the stairs and didn’t offer any help. They should offer assistance with luggage when there is no elevator or ramp to reach the reception area. The elevator is only available to go to the rooms.

This has to be the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. We arrived late in the evening and we’re told by a bored and uninterested receptionist that we were in the annex. He gave us keys and told us to go up the road to an unmarked door, when we eventually found it, we opened the door and found the hallway lined with rubbish bins that we had to walk past to get to our room. The floor in the hallway was littered with cigarette buts and other rubbish. The area itself felt very unsafe. The room was cramped and with dirty marks all over the walls. We asked them to put us in the main hotel and were told they were full. In the morning we complained to the manager, only to be told that the room we had been given was an upgrade! I dread to think what the other rooms were like! Breakfast was stale pastries and instant coffee! All in all it was a horrible and stressful start to our week in Rome.

I like it’s proximity to the main train and bus station (Termini) I didn’t like the breakfast: even if they serve you hot drink personally which is nice of them, they are run out of brown bread most of the time and the white bread is not soft enough to consume They need to have get rid off those old and not clean carpets out of the stairs and corridors.

Kennedy and hotel was great, air conditioning nice cool and silent windows could open to let fresh air in; room service was clean, staff were very very helpful, always smiling and attentive. breakfast was an added bonus, can’t complain. Price was great for what you got, I definitely recommend to my friends ( And it was very close to the transport ) very happy indeed
