One of The rooms had a lot of mold spots in the shower ceiling and some other in the room hallway. The other room was missing part of the ceiling. The room card worked only the first time entry, for the other time we entered the room, the front desk gentleman had to walk to the room and open it with a key because he tried two times to configure the card again and did not work. The location was convenient from the highway, the breakfast was good, the bed and pillows were good, but unfortunately the experience was terrible because the mold was a health concern and it was a big area, not some spots. Also if you are remodeling the hotel you should provide the guest a complete room and work on others, we should not stayed in a room without ceiling, without shower doors.

It took 3 tries to get a room! Despite being a non smoking hotel the great room was smoke filled, the second room, broken AC, the thrift, broken toilet with water running all night but the best of the 3! The hotel is currently under renovation and they should not be renting rooms until they are finished or they should tell people about their current state. The hotel definitely needs a facelift. The staff were friendly and tried their best, but the hotel itself let them down.

- breakfast was terrible, not worth it. For sure better options.

+Air condition in the room was excellent.

But again, just because of the low quality of the breakfast, i will never use this hotel again. Come on, you are in italy, this feels like a lack of interest from the hotel.

The property is in terrible condition i feel completely robbed the door worked after around 15 to 20 attempts the shower was full of mold and the light and ventilation did not work the room had only 1 working plug socket the phone system for the hotel didn't work. A massive pot hole outside i twisted my knee now have to wear a brace discusted by the whole package

Convenient location but a poorly maintained hotel

On arrival, the hotel looked quite smart and we were allocated a double room on the 4th floor. The lift creaked an groaned and was very slow. Our room was OK if a bit “tired-looking”, however, when we tried to flush the toilet it didn’t work. The front desk staff were very helpful and quickly moved us to another room, this time a triple-bed room, also on the 4th floor. We stayed here overnight but the sink didn’t empty properly, the toilet seat wasn’t properly fastened and some of the room lights failed to operate. We did advise the staff of these issues on checking out. Breakfast was good, fresh and tasty although the coffee machine had seen better days. Our feelings were, that this had once been a well appointed hotel but was now in decline. Poor maintenance was in evidence everywhere, the walls painted in a slapdash manner, wall repairs not plastered over and the electric heater in elevator lobby on the 4th floor was missing it protective grill thus leaving the electrics in a dangerously exposed condition. On the plus side, it is very convenient as it is just off the autostrada and has a delightful restaurant just across the road (Amore Versace).

Didn't get off to a good start; arrived at the reception desk and said Hello but the two receptionists were glued to their computer screens and ignored me (or didn't say, \"we will be with you in a moment\"). The room was clean but faded and dated, the toilet seat was broken, towels frayed, carpet looked worn and not clean. Breakfast was poor - there were a lot of people there and they ran out of scrambled eggs, bread, and other commodities and didn't seem that interested in restocking. We won't be returning, I'm sorry to say. We stayed in this hotel some years ago when it was excellent in every respect, but now is poor value and we won't be returning.

A nice place to stay

Stopped here on a road trip further south. Good clean room with kitchen facilities. A little tight in twin mode. Fridge was great to cool down our picnic items. Cheap fuel stop at a local supermarket was a bonus

Handy for visiting the city

Absolutely fine, clean and comfortable room, excellent breakfast, parking directly outside the hotel and plenty of eating places and a supermarket nearby.Probably a bit too far to walk into the centre but there is public transport nearby. Staff very helpful so get information from the front desk.

we have stayed at this hotel twice now, both times we have been passing through so it was just an overnight stop. guy on the front desk was very helpfull as we had to change our booking date. breakfast was the best we had encountered on our journey through france and italy ample choice. quite a few good restaurants nearby including a chinese one which was very busy. would stop off there again on our return journey.

This hotel is not typical of Holiday Inns. Normally you get a large room and the services advertised are inclusive. This listing said free internet and breakfast. There was neither, and when we asked the price of the breakfast it was 13 euros each. Looking at the breakfast it was poor value, with ancient scrambled eggs and unattractive doughy bread. Very disappointed.

Gentili e sorridenti fin dal primo momento, il personale ci ha accolti con grande disponibilità, consegnandoci la camera prima dell’orario previsto: un’attenzione non scontata e molto apprezzata dopo il viaggio.

La stanza, luminosa e dotata di finestre, si è presentata pulita e ordinata; la biancheria era fresca e ben sistemata, così come le superfici del bagno e della camera. Unico piccolo neo la moquette, presente in tutta la struttura, che conserva quel tipico odore di polvere che può risultare leggermente fastidioso per chi è più sensibile. Avrei inoltre gradito una dotazione più ricca di saponi e piccoli gadget per la cura personale, che avrebbero reso l’esperienza ancora più completa e confortevole.

La notte è trascorsa serenamente: ambiente silenzioso, letto comodo e temperatura adeguata hanno favorito un buon riposo.

La posizione dell’hotel rappresenta senza dubbio uno dei suoi punti di forza: strategica per chi desidera spostarsi comodamente anche verso altre città e ben collegata. Alle spalle della struttura si trova un piccolo centro commerciale con un supermercato Conad molto fornito e diversi ristorantini di vario genere, soluzione pratica sia per un pasto veloce sia per una cena più rilassata.

Nel complesso, un soggiorno piacevole, con alcuni dettagli migliorabili ma con diversi aspetti positivi che rendono la struttura una scelta funzionale e comoda.

Bagno piccolo, doccia stretta e piena di muffa, fortunatamente eravamo di passaggio e siamo stati solo una notte. La colazione inesistente con uova bianche e acquose,molto scarsa portavano dei mini cornetti due alla volta e solo vuoti. Nella macchina che fa il latte e i caffè c'era il latte in polvere ed era imbevibile, in pratica è andato tutto buttato e non solo da noi era tutto immangiabile.

Etablissement qui fut très bien ............il y a 20 ans mais qui est désormais en grand manque d'entretien !!
les couloirs sont lamantables........tout est à l'abandon !
Est-ce que la direction de la chaîne attend un miracle, ou bien attend que sa clientèle aille à la concurrence ??

Personnel charmant, surtout les jeunes femmes de la réception.
Dommage que l’on ait tant de difficultés à ouvrir les portes des chambres avec les cartes qui se démagnétisent seules ! Il faut souvent redescendre faire remagnetiser sa carte ou bien penser à le faire systématiquement quand on rentre !!!!!

Avons dû demander à changer de chambre sitôt arrivés car il n’y avait de la lumière que dans la salle de bains !!!!
Tout au long du séjour nous avons eu des problèmes pour ouvrir la porte des deux chambres : à 4 reprises avons dû demander de l’aide au personnel pour pouvoir entrer dans nos chambres respectives !!!!!
Je viens très régulièrement dans cet hôtel pour des raisons de commodité et la dégradation va grandissant.
Il est urgent de remédier à l’essentiel

The hotel appears quite old and seems to be undergoing renovations. Unfortunately, the bathroom was in poor condition — the shower was dirty, and the ceiling was covered in mold. The breakfast was disappointing; the food did not seem fresh, and the scrambled eggs looked unappetizing. We ultimately decided to check out early and have breakfast elsewhere.

Séjour sympathique mais quelques anomalies :
impossible d'ouvrir la fenêtre la première nuit, la poignée est cassée ! Je l'ai signalé, on me l'a ouverte avec les moyens du bord, mais aucune réparation efficace durant les 5 jours. Visiblement il n'y a aucune véritable maintenance du bâtiment en général; c'est vraiment dommage que la chaîne IDEA n'agisse pas, car l,'hôtel est bien placé et pourrait redevenir agréable comme au temps où il était Holiday Inn dans les années 1980.......!
Le personnel est charmant mais ne peut pas faire des miracles, il fait le maximum avec ce qu'on leur donne pour travailler !!!

La struttura era un po’ abbandonata a se stessa. Le camere avevano qualche mancanza e rotture varie, erano abbastanza mal curate. Noi abbiamo dormito solo 1 notte e l’unica nota positiva è stata l’accoglienza. La camera abbastanza pulita, bagno purtroppo lontanamente vicino alle 3 stelle che vanta l’hotel. Vá bene per una sosta di una notte.

Hotel économique, date des annees 70/80 la clim ne marchait pas du coup on a eut des ventilo et une bouteille d eau, j ai tres peu dormi les moustiques me piquait, douche en mauvais etat, petit dej buffet tres moyens, nous avons pris cet hotel de passage a plaisance car nous allions a florence, a le merite de recevoir toute la nuit, mais on est sur de la qualité éco, pas plus d une nuit.

Ingen aircondition som fungerte på hotellet, veldig varmt!! Låsen på hotelldøra fungerte ikke, kunne ikke låse verken innenfra eller utenifra, og resepsjonist så ikke helt problemet. Etterhvert fikk vi byttet rom, men mye diskusjoner frem og tilbake… Rommene er noe slitne, renholdet var bra.
Hotellfrokosten er veldig enkel, ikke ha for store forhåpninger!
Piacenza-by er ikke veldig spennende, helt greit at vi bare var på gjennomreise og skulle kun ha litt mat på kvelden og en natts opphold. Byen er mest et knutepunkt for to hovedfartsårer (veier) som går gjennom italia, samt industri. Velg noe annet om du skal se noe av italia.

Única nota positiva il personale che nei limiti del possibile cerca di fare qualcosa per sopperire alle mancanze di una struttura vecchia e fatiscente. Con il caldo di questo giorno all'arrivo ci siamo sentiti dire che l'aria condizionata era guasta. Li sciacquone del water non funzionava, qualcuno è venuto a sistemarlo ma dopo una volta era di nuovo guasto. Letto scomodo, cuscino inesistente, per strada si sentivano le peggio urla e schiamazzi, ma visto che l'aria condizionata era guasta non potevano certo chiudere la finestra. Il bagno sembrava quello di una cabina di un traghetto della tirrenia. Sulla carta un 3 stelle, hon un prezzo da 3 stelle, ma dargli una stella sarebbe stato fin troppo generoso

Hotel che a leggere le recensioni va bene per una notte, di passaggio perché appena fuori dall’autostrada. È datato ma può andare bene. Poi però scopri che non c’è l’acqua calda, chiedi in reception e ti dicono che i tecnici ci stanno lavorando. La stanza ha avuto un rioridino, tolta la moquette e imbiancato. Ma non ci sono le placche degli interruttori. L’acqua fredda del lavandino sprizza dappertutto. Il riscaldamento ad aria funziona ma la stanza è molto polverosa. La colazione è passabile. L’acqua calda non c’è e vado a farla a casa. Per onestà potevano almeno avvisare e così potevo optare di andare da un’altra parte.

A fuir !

Hôtel loin du 3 étoiles annoncé, de l'accueil peu souriant à la chambre dans un état lamentable (vieille moquette, papier peint décoloré et arraché du mur, condensation d'eau le long de la fenêtre). La réalité ne correspond pas aux photos trouvés sur internet. Nous avons demandé de régler au moment du check out mais apparemment le patron de l'hôtel refuse et nous devons payer à l'arrivée.
Nous avons très mal dormi, la chambre n'étant pas insonorisée et située à côté d'un carrefour, nous avons pu aussi entendre les gens dans le couloir ou en bas de l'immeuble. L'utilisation du garage repose sur la présence d'un agent de réception qui n'était pas là lorsque nous avons voulu utiliser notre voiture (entre 20h30 et 21h30), nous avons donc préféré nous garer dehors pour pouvoir quitter l'hôtel à l'heure que l'on voulait. Payer 89€ pour ce genre de prestation c'est du vol.

IDEA HOTEL PIACENZA

Hotel ben posizionato ma rispetto al passato è decisamente peggiorato sia livello confort che pulizia. Tutto da ristrutturare a cominciare dalle camere con moquette vecchia e sporca , come le finiture interne in particolare quelle relative al bagno ( perdite acqua piatto doccia, tavoletta wc vecchia). Televisione in camera si vedono solo 5 canali ..
Colazione tutta con prodotti confezionati e scarna … inoltre ultima volta c ' era un' evidente perdita dal soffitto con acqua sul pavimento e temperature decisamente fredde ( ospiti avevano tutti il giubbotto).
Oltretutto tariffe medio-alte rispetto a quello che offre
