The hotel was totally amazing. Best experience we have ever had anywhere. Our “room” was a villa with cabin ( beautiful bedroom and huge bathroom), outside was enormous private hot tub, great swimming pool, and pleasant patio.
The grounds were like being in an amazing flowered jungle.

Beautiful, secluded, and peaceful spot—perfect for the first half of our vacation. The location in Ubud was ideal, and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food wasn’t the best, and the villa pools felt a bit dated. Also, be prepared for a lot of insects in the jungle setting. Still, the scenery and tranquility made it an enjoyable stay.

Me and my wife stayed at this resort for our honeymoon. We stayed 3 nights at the honeymoon villa. We enjoyed every moment of our stay here. The staff were so amazing and attentive. The food was so delicious. The only thing we didnt like was that there were a lot of bugs. But its expected when you are staying in that area. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone who is staying in Ubud!

Everything about our stay was amazing, ALL the staff so friendly and accommodating. Our villa with private pool was on another level! It was pure luxury. The bed was so comfortable. I enjoyed all the activities such as yoga, breathwork and sound bath which added to our stay. Would love to stay again. If you want peace this is your place. Very little outside of the hotel but there’s a shuttle to town and taxis so cheap and easy to organise.

100/10. Everything about our stay was absolutely perfect. The grounds are unbelievably tranquil and beautiful. We enjoyed all our meals at the restaurant, offering deliciously crafted cuisine and top notch service. The staff throughout our entire stay was hospitable, kind, attentive, and beyond helpful.

The cultural inclusions with your stay are a must. Take the shuttle in to the center, relax in a yoga session, experience Balinese traditions and history in the complimentary sessions, and of course take a rice field walk!

We stayed in one of the villas and were blown away by the amenities and accommodations. Our floating breakfast was an exceptional experience, and we enjoyed our private pool as well as the resort’s three pools.

The spa provides tranquil services and we were so satisfied having taken advantage of booking massages and body masks.

I would recommend Nyuh Ubud to any and everyone. I would love to come back, and if we return to Bali, I know we will absolutely be at Nyuh.

Beautiful relaxing resort awesome gardens and pools and the included activities were excellent. Yoga was very high standard and changed daily . Restaurant was nice enough but staff made it an excellent experience and we enjoyed our breakfasts there after yoga.

The only let down was the spa which seems to not even be related not the resort.. we booked thinking our treatments would be in the pavilion we saw instead they were in another old dark dusty building which was never shown to us and we had heard yelling coming from the night before. Treatments and environment were not to standard of the resort. They gave me a discount to compensate but it was still twice as much as the spas in town which were much better. Another guest we met just walked out of her treatment and didn’t sign.

A shame as everything was great.

The villa was in very good condition, with many amenities. Some of the things were a little bit aged, but it was generally clean and a very comfortable space. The restaurant had OK food, had some good traditional options. The floating breakfast was a nice addition, it was very peaceful and the service was good. The hotel is quite luxurious and the villas are wonderful. Pool was excellent. The staff is very attentive.

A beautiful place to relax and chill with 3 different and beautiful pools with the typical Bali style scene. Staff are super nice and very helpful and attentive. So polite. Different activities of morning rice field walk (must do I think as it goes through local rice fields rather than the touristic ones we go in Ubud). Also yoga sessions. Breakfast is nice and enough. Room service is great. Overall I very much enjoyed the stay and would come again. Thanks to all the nice staff there, to all of them.

The Nyuh Bali and Resort & Spa had fabulous service! The staff was so kind and attentive to all our needs! The vibe of the resort was very calm and intimate. If you are coming for a honeymoon or with a significant other and you want to be away from chaos, this is the place to be! The breakfast options were supbar because of how limited the food options were but other than that no complaints. This resort also focuses on sustainability, so towels and sheets are only changed upon request. Water in glass bottles are provided daily in the hotels. If you come the Ubud Nyuh Bali you will be one with nature (:

Nice staff and time was comfortable. They provide shuttle service to the city area which is a huge bonus considering how there’s nothing much in the area. However, spa has only one therapist most of the time so it’s very difficult to get slots. Area is also difficult to navigate around if on foot. Food choices and quality are poor, will definitely not dine there.

This was an amazing find for us. Daily yoga with Faby, followed by breakfast with the friendly staff. Food was fresh & delicious with so much to eat!

We had BBQ cooked in our villa & a floating breakfast. Nothing was a problem & the grounds beautifully manicured. A little out of town but there is a free shuttle.

I would come back as a solo traveller or in a couple as it was a warm welcoming place that I was sad to leave!

This place has one of the best private pool villa for the given price. Although the road to the property is very poor and there is nothing scenic outside but inside the property it's like being in a beautiful rainforest.

Food:The restaurant service is amazing with a breakfast with limited options but better in taste and quality than any other breakfast buffets of a 5 star property. You must try their breakfast burrito and rice noodles, they were one of the best.

Staff: The staff of this hotel was very helpful and humble.a Special call out to Adit who helped us a lot throughout our stay.

We had an amazing honeymoon at Ubud Nyuh Bali Resort & Spa. The resort is peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by nature. Our villa was private, spacious, and had a lovely pool. The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel special throughout our stay.

The meals were delicious, especially the breakfast. The location is perfect for exploring Ubud, with its temples, rice fields and vibrant culture.

We are really disappointed with our stay at Nyuh Bali. When we arrived to our Villa the floors were so dirty that our feet turned brown.

The linens had obviously stains all over them, many of which looked like blood stains.

It was clear nothing was throughly cleaned, instead just a quick wipe. The shower was outside and had mold and mildew.

Our first night there we barely slept due to excessive bird noises, but we forgot about that until we got back from a day out in town. We came back to bird poop inside the villa on the tv stand. We called house keeping and all they did was wipe the bird poop with a napkin and said they would spray bug spray in the air. I had to suggest they use soap to clean it, and that it was not acceptable for us to keep staying in the villa when there is a bird living in it (which we saw). The hotel staff were able to move us to a new villa after (which was just as dirty, but no bird..), and all we received to make it up to us was $20 USD off our spa treatment.

We are extremely disappointed and this place is extremely over priced for what it is. It is clear the photos were taken a long time ago, and this place has not seen proper cleaning and care since.

Would not recommend staying here at all.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel. The seclusion and privacy of my villa, complete with its own pool, were absolutely perfect. I thoroughly enjoyed the floating breakfast twice and the flower bath—both were unforgettable experiences.

However, I would love to see the hotel enhance their offerings for special occasions. The current options are rather uninspired, and it's a bit disappointing that private services aren’t allowed. Investing more in celebratory experiences could really elevate the stay.

Additionally, the roads leading to the property are quite daunting and may make you reconsider, but once you arrive, the property itself is truly amazing.

Great Hideaway in Ubud

The Nyuh resort is a fantastic hideaway in rural Ubud. The room was exceptinal. Clean and spaceous. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Especially the young waitress at the restaurant. The gardens were tranquil and immaculately kept. Compilmentary yoga and sound healing sessions added to the zen atmosphere. The outdoor spa and massage was worth it.
In all, we had a great stay at Nyuh.

It’s location. The layout of the property as it relates to the rooms, spa and common areas. As an interior designer I was very impressed with the locally made products used in the decor. It’s was tastefully done. Very clean. I walked barefooted even outdoors. Bathrooms are a must see.

Our honeymoon at Nyuh Bali Hotel in Ubud was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the incredibly warm and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. Their genuine hospitality and attention to detail were evident throughout our visit.

The natural scenery surrounding the property is breathtaking, offering a serene and picturesque backdrop that perfectly complements the lush interiors. Our room was an architectural delight, with a spacious bath and beautifully designed interiors that exuded luxury and comfort.

We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary shuttle buses that made it convenient to explore Ubud town regularly. Additionally, the hotel provided a range of complimentary activities that added a unique and delightful touch to our stay.

Special thanks to the staff for their thoughtful honeymoon touches in our room and for the delicious complimentary cake at breakfast, which made our mornings even sweeter. It was beautiful, the bugs was unimaginable, as well as the mosquitos, I didn’t want to enjoy our private pool and jacuzzi due to all the bugs that was biting me! The food was good although I didn’t have much of an appetite, I did notice that there was always a hair or something in my food, I didn’t complain but it bothered me a lot, kind of took away my appetite to eat. I suggest the cooks and servers wear hair nets. The fruit and drinks were not cold, I guess as an American I expect everything ice cold and it wasn’t. There’s a cat in the resort that was hoping the gate trying to get to the left over food we had outside. We had to leave the food outside because if we kept it inside more bugs would find it’s way inside! Also I believe Bali is an Islamic country, maybe the men rule and take care of everything but I just found it odd that all questions were asked to my fiancé and not me. Sometimes it felt like I wasn’t even there. But other than that I would recommend the resort especially if you are an outdoorsy person. I am not. Also we did not receive fresh towels everyday and I’m just under the impression that the towels and rags were not clean enough for me. Overall 4 or 3 star rating from me.

I love this property because I felt like the staff cater to my every need. They decorated my villa pool for me, which was very nice and I also did a floating breakfast. They have a breakfast buffet, but also let you order from the à la carte menu which had omelettes waffles, French toast etc. The hotel provides a taxi service for a very affordable price and they will take you wherever you need to go. The Spa was my absolute favorite part of the hotel.

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and genuine hospitality by the staff, who ensured that every aspect of my stay was nothing short of perfection. The check-in process was seamless, and I was escorted to my Honeymoon Villa, surrounded by tropical gardens, providing a sense of unique privacy and peace.

The accommodation itself was a sanctuary of comfort, featuring traditional Balinese architecture infused with modern amenities. The villa boasted spacious interiors adorned with intricately carved furnishings, a plush king-sized bed draped in luxurious linens, a private pool and outdoor bathtub and shower, it was the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the beauty of nature.

One of the highlights of my stay was indulging in the resort's spa offerings. The Nyuh Spa offered a range of holistic treatments inspired by Balinese healing traditions, administered by skilled therapists in a serene and soothing environment. Also there were the complimentary well being classes were pilates and power yoga was conducted. The trainer was relaxed and accommodating to everyone needs.

The culinary experience at Ubud Nyuh Bali Resort and Spa was equally impressive.

The service staff were very gracious and excellent however rooms are outdated and there is no thorough cleaning done- only towels were replaced. The rooms smell musky and the aircons weren't effective. We stayed in the 3 bedroom villa. Breakfast was average and food in the restaurant was average as well. Roads around the area were poor. takes 45 mins to get to Ubud centre with the traffic.

I should’ve gave this place a 4 star but I couldn’t. I gave them a 5 star. Let me explain. Our room, their staff , the food and customer service was excellent. I can’t help but say great things about this place. When we first got there I was caught off guard because I couldn’t believe the entrance. It was little and we were in the jungle. But once we got in it was great. The only downfall for me and this doesn’t go against the staff because it’s not their fault, you can only take shower outside. There’s no shower or tub inside. So it’s really humid and I like to take showers at night but it was raining outside. So I couldn’t shower. What if it’s really windy and you want to shower in the morning, you can’t. That was the only downfall for me. Otherwise this place was great. They did a hell of a job too for my girlfriend’s flower decoration in the pool. If you do come, don’t come during rainy season lol. It’s also not too far from the stores , monkey sanctuary and excursions. Hope this review helps

From the moment I arrived I was in paradise. I was upgraded to a beautiful villa with a private pool and floating breakfast. I took the yoga classes every morning, each teacher was wonderful and each class different. I really enjoy relaxing in my villa and pool after a day exploring Ubud. Highly recommend. The staff are lovely and do everything to make your stay wonderful.

I highly recommend this hotel. The staff were phenomenal everywhere and so helpful.

The spa was amazing.

The food was not great, but the staff made up for that part and you can take the shuttle in to Ubud for dinner very easily.

This hotel is and staff are great, I am glad we finished our trip at this lovely hotel.
The breakfast was nice and with good choice of tasty food, also options to be ordered from the QR code menu.
They have a very reliable shuttle service going to Ubud every 2 hours, which is great. They had also other complimentary activities but we didn’t have a chance to use.
The only downside was how overlooked the rooms were, if you want any privacy you will need to close all the curtains with blackout as soon as you get in the room, which was a shame as we missed out the lovely views from the room and from the bath, which was amazing.

I can not say enough good things about our stay here. Everyone there is so friendly and willing to help with anything you need. I rented a royal villa well worth the price as it was such a peaceful vacation. We used the spa there two times as it was so amazing. Also the food on site was delicious, breakfast every morning good variety. If you are thinking about staying here you wont be disappointed. 5 stars for sure.

I really enjoyed my stay at Nyuh Ubud Bali. The staff was amazing and they were very welcoming. I wish that I could remember the names of everyone, lol. Each person that I encountered during my stay was awesome!! They did a fabulous job with cleaning the rooms/villa daily and the property is beautiful.

My only suggestion for the property is:
Please consider placing a television inside the room in the private villa. The television outside is a nice touch, but if you want to watch the television in the evenings, it’s hard because of mosquitoes, etc. at night. Also, consider adding the option of Netflix on the television in the villa.
2. The food isn’t bad, but it could be better. Perhaps, add a few more items to the menu.

Overall, I enjoyed the Nyuh Ubud Bali and I would stay there again. Thank you to everyone for your kind hospitality during my visit.

Overall. I had a good stay. The resort itself was very nice, all of the staff were very sweet. My room was beautiful and for the most part, clean. Although I noticed that when my room was cleaned, it wasn’t necessarily cleaned thoroughly. A lot of times, the towels and other things like the bed sheets and cups would be re-folded, or moved in it’s original place to look neat, but it wasn’t replaced with a clean towel/sheets. But maybe it’s because the hotel is also eco-friendly. I also noticed that there would be bugs in my room, but I believe this is due to the cleaner leaving the door open while cleaning the room, allowing for the bugs to get in. Other than this, the hotel had some very nice touches like free activities, free shuttle to the center of Ubud, and the free breakfast was very good. Would recommend!

This was an amazing stay, the staff were great and the food was delicious. The environment is the perfect nature getaway just like I wanted. We stayed in the private pool villa and enjoyed swimming at nights. We felt safe the staff accommodated our needs. Thank you nyuhbali

We are very happy we choose this resort. The staff is very friendly everyone runs on island time so don’t worry if breakfast or lunch takes a litttle time just relax and enjoy the views and sounds. Transportation was easy with Gojek if you want to go to Ubud, we never used the resorts transport since it requires scheduling in advance. Rooms are very nice and it is a big place so it can get crowded at certain times of the day. It was our first trip to Bali and wanted safe and easy. This place was both. Would highly recommend if it’s your first time to Bali

Best stay we’ve had in Bali. Staff were incredible. Shuttle service goes into and out of main ubud every 2 hours. Local dog named brownie who lives in the lobby stole our heart. Could not reccomend more

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was great! Our Villa was perfect! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. This trip was our delayed honeymoon (thanks COVID) but it was exactly what we had hoped for.
