I rarely leave negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Cigarette butts littered the grounds. The biggest issue was our non-smoking room, which reeked of smoke. It permeated the walls, furniture, and bed, making it difficult to breathe. When we asked the front desk, they said the room used to be a smoking room, and although they tried to remove the smell, it was impossible. There was furniture stacked in the hallways, and our room showed signs of attempted entry near the door key. I didn't feel safe or comfortable, but it was only a one-night stay, and we were exhausted from our trip.
Breakfast had limited selections of waffles, and cereal.
The staff were accommodating, pet friendly hotel and our room had a nice view of the pond.

The breakfast was terrible!! Cold coffee and warm milk and juice. No waffle mix. Second day there was some coffee but it was lukewarm! Still no waffle! Small apples avaliable no person to be seen to ask. Night shift was much better and accommodating. First night tv did not work and they moved us to another room. There is a huddle house next door but we did not go there. Beds were comfortable. Room was ok. We did have a lake view. Convenient to interstate.

We stayed here for one night. The place was definitely under a remodel. Furniture in the halls, things needing repair, it suficed for a night to get some sleep and a shower. Cant say much more. Far from impressed.

They have bed bugs, blood stain on the blankets, roaches were clawing on the wall and the room smelled really bad. It didn’t even looked liked they clean it. Plus they charged me an extra 21 dollars because I didn’t put my 11 daughter on there.

First off I stayed there for over a week and didn't have Wi-Fi complained about it that's only done about it my girlfriend came over complaining about it they wouldn't do nothing so she complained to corporate and she got borrowed for a complaining the corporate and me could not smoke in place so you have to go outside to smoke well instead of dirtying the property being rude I always brought my cigarette butts in with me and toss to my cup or wherever you know that way I wasn't turning his property he tried to show me a picture of it but I don't know why but I think he's trying to keep my deposit and I need my deposit back I'm on disability to last the money I have I thought I was going to get another night so I was in the back charging my phone and I like to do something I came back my bag was gone the manager stole it told me never come back or he'll call the cops so I want my deposit back immediately please

The staff was great. The room was disgusting. The sheets were dirty, and had some brown pieces of something on them. We went to the front desk and got clean sheets. The carpet was beyond disgusting so we layed the dirty sheets down on the floor to have something to walk on. The room stunk really bad. The bathroom was good. The furnishing were good as well.

I was a bit surprised to find out upon arrival that the motel changed hands since my last visit and went to all non smoking rooms. It was booked as smoking and I wasn't notified of the change. That aside, it was a good stay. The new staff was friendly and helpful. Even though the pool heater wasn't working.

Decent for a lower priced motel.

Not a bad place for the price. Employee stated how the previous owner (who just sold it) improved different things. Apparently the new owner desires to make the entire place non-smoking. Pool was small, but nice & clean. Strong suggestion to the new owner: shampoo the carpets. My room wasn't bad, but it could've used it. Breakfast wasn't too bad for a lower priced place, and better than another Super 8 I stayed at the next night. However, there's a Huddle House right next door.

The staff was very friendly at check-in. The hotel is pretty run down but basically functional. The 1st floor has smoking rooms and you can smell the smoke through out the building. None of the vending machines were working. The Continental breakfast was sub par. (Who eats bagels without cream cheese?) The room was very musty but clean. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were clean. I was told at check-in that they were under new management and they were working on improving the hotel. We stayed there because it was close to family.

A quick two night stay in a small town directly in the middle of our planned activities. Small hotel, within walking distance of restaurants and shopping.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. The beds were comfortable and clean. Indoor pool was small and the water was cold but the kids didn't mind!

The hotel is dirty. Our room was ok, but the rest was not. Our room was on the second floor. No elevator. I’m 80 and my husband is 90. So the young guy at the desk saw us struggling with our suitcases and said, \"Those stairs are tough.\" Now we were able to get our suitcases upstairs in several trips, but this guy could certainly have helped. The breakfast was spare. No tea or hot water. Don't stay here.

The room didn’t seem clean at all. There were what appeared to be stains all over the walls. The air conditioner kinda worked. Like it cooled but the fan barely moved any air so it stay muggy in the room. The pillows felt like bricks. The toilet was running the whole time we were there. The couch in the room was so broken down we were afraid to sit on it.

Furniture is old and very used. The curtain was gross, ripped, and missing hooks. People were smoking in some of the rooms although supposedly these are no smoking rooms!! The front desk person said that some rooms are smoking rooms! Makes no sense since I had to sign a form saying I wouldnt smoke in my room and ALL of the room doors had no smoking symbols on them. Hmmmm?

The bed was comfy. The bathroom fixtures were clean and newer. I had plenty of hot water in the shower. The fridge and microwave were clean and worked fine.

Overall the room was clean, but unfortunately there was a mouse in my bathroom that I saw running along the baseboard as I was brushing my teeth!! It hid in an empty toilet paper roll under the sink vanity. I saw it twice that morning but not the next day (I was there for two nights). I reported it when I checked out. I really hope management does something about their apparent mouse problem!

What can be said. It is a Super 8. Essentially the closest hotel to the Bonne Terre Mine, where we were going to be diving. The room was adequate. There was a hole in the blanket, but didn't affect its function. I really can't complain considering the reasonably cheap price.

Mattresses too firm. Lumpy pillows..they actually sucked. Had trouble getting in room because handle was all jacked up. They offer free breakfast, but it’s only waffles, orange juice and Luke warm coffee. We’ll never stay there again. On a further note, I will never book thru Expedia again. Expedia did not follow thru with their promises.

We were in town for scuba, diving certification, and spent one evening at this hotel. You get what you pay for, and the price was right, which is why we stayed here. Other than a musty smell in the room I was pleased at how exceptionally clean the room was. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the sheets were like new.
