Only 2 things that were keeping it from 5 stars. 1. The towels and wash clothes were old, gray and rough instead of white and soft. And the breakfast. The dining area is super small and the food options are seriously limited. Waffle iron, kids cereal, and gravy with a limited assortment of stale baked goods.

That being said, I will be staying anytime I'm in the area.

The hotel seemed to be under renovation so there was some construction debris and supplies sitting around but they are trying to improve the property so that is understandable. I wished that the pool had been indoors so we could have used it. The breakfast was a little sparse limited choices, no meat or eggs. Only biscuits and gravy for hot meals and waffles. The bagels and toast were pretty sparse and only apples for fruit.

Was not aware of the $100 dollar cash deposit, plus the usual hold on your card. They said they just scan your card. Then I when back up to ask for 1 extra pillow, two of us in the room, I was told there were no extra pillows available. Surprised that this is a Wyndham property. Felt more like we were checking into a shady property. Will not be staying here again!

I only need 3 things in a hotel: no bugs, clean, and comfortable enough to sleep. Everything else is a bonus. Finding a cockroach in the morning definitely ruins the entire experience. Which is a shame because it was otherwise nice. When I told the lady at the front desk she simply replied \"Sorry about that.\" and walked away.

I could not believe there was no elevator. I had to drag my luggage up and down the stairs. 99.9% of the TV channels were sports crap or news. Definitely not much worth while to watch. The room was clean. Just needs to be updated. But it was affordable.

Loved the pool area-clean with great chairs. Picnic area and grill right next door to the pool. Safety was a priority-they made sure pool was closed during inclement weather but opened it up as soon as that had passed. Room was quiet and clean. A/C worked well. Kiddos liked the breakfast. I stayed while recovering from knee replacement surgery. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The housekeeping crew was fast, efficient, sweet, and went out of their way to be helpful. I was impressed with the cleanliness. Additionally, the walls must be well insulated because I did not hear noise from other guests while I was there.

Nice motel, we got here but a few things needed fixing, shower curtain rod is falling apart from the wall, the screws are stripped out, tv code was lost couldn’t turn it on, the ac unit control flaps are broken, toilet seat was loose, , tv on the wall is loose ready to fall off the wall lol I’m not the type to complain about stuff but when you pay that much for a 2 night stay, things should be In working order,and I wanted the clerk to know it was like this before we got settled in, so I called the desk, he came up and fixed everything so that’s good service and that’s what counts or he didn’t want to give us another room lol anyways it was a comfortable stay and slept good! I think the place could use an update in the rooms and a bigger cafeteria room, was crowded for the complementary breakfast! I’ll stay again next time when we visit family!

The lobby and hallways smelled really good. Not sure what air freshner they were using, but it's pretty awesome.

The biscuits were very dry and the gravy was cold to luke warm lukewarm, and almostflavorless. We weren't expecting a full breakfast buffet for free, but try making what you do have a little better.

The person working the desk the night I arrived was very pleasant and professional. She had a great attitude.

Weather was rainy. Room constantly smeeled of mildew and stagnant air. Unfortunately, it did not matter how long we left a fan or air conditioner running.
I will say five stars for hotel staff, as all were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was sorely lacking.

Queen size bed was actually a full size. Lobby smelled clean and I saw the staff cleaning the lobby and hallways. Room was very outdated and smelled musty. Sheets had stains on them and top blanket had burn holes. The room itself was “clean” or as clean as could be expected based on overall age and condition of the room. It was ok to sleep for one night but I wouldn’t stay there again.

A decent no frills place to stay.

We stayed here for 2 nights to attend my granddaughter’s dance competition, it was a decent place. The lady at the desk was very friendly both at check in and out, our room was pretty small but it was clean and the bed was very nice. Dog friendly was a plus, it definitely needs updated and a few repairs here and there. The breakfast selection was very limited but what there was available was good. It’s in a great location, several restaurants, a grocery store and a Walmart are available within walking distance. I was not disappointed overall, and I would stay here again.

This was a property set up as pet friendly. The interior walls had multiple areas that showed patching and repair and were left that way rather than being painted over. Under the sink there were holes so large my cats could have crawled through into the space between the walls without even having to squeeze through. I had to use the large bath towels to plug them. There were dark hairs in the sink, on the pillows and in the bed- which had sheets that were so wrinkled they looked slept in. The blankets were paper thin. The heat couldn’t be adjusted and the unit was so loud it startled us every time it came on. My cat jumped up on the window ledge which appeared to be marble and it flipped up. It was a piece of wood not nailed or glued down. The ceiling had 2 seams of cracking plaster. Water dripped all night in the bathroom. The toilet handle had to be held down or it would not flush completely. It was late at night and I’m in my 60’s. After 13 hours on the road I wasn’t capable of going through the process of finding another pet friendly hotel. The only part of the experience that stood out was the woman working the desk. She was so “real” and respectful and spoke positively of the kindness of the community that I determined I would stay the night though would never stay there again. The location is good and appeared safe with a group of other hotels in the immediate area. I have never left a negative review before but what I wanted to inform other travelers.

My room was quiet at the end of the hallway--temperature was good, refrig worked well, bed was fine, and room was clean. Thank you. A few minor repairs could be made to improve one's stay--a few places had pieces of plaster broken off, caulking around sink wasn't intact. And a few carpet stains. Overall, a good stay!!!

The staff was very polite and helpful! There are loads of walkable restaurants and stores as it is centrally located. The area surrounding the hotel felt quite safe. The building is older but decently kept for its age. No fitness gym on the property unfortunately and as far as breakfast goes, 'twas quite limited. The room and bathroom were properly and thoroughly clean which is a huge deal for those like myself who travel alot. And finally, the price was unbeatable being about the same price as a tank of gas!! I would definitely recommend this hotel if your in the area and paying out of pocket for your stay.

Check in was quick and easy. Staff was very nice. Could tell it was an older hotel. Our room was righ inside a side door which was nice. The room was clean and mostly appealing. The bathroom had water damage to the ceiling which was not very well repaired and looked like it might come down at any second. There were patches on the walls in the bathroom and in the room that were not painted but were gladingly obvious due to the paint color on the wall. Carpet had seen better days but still functional. The pillowtop bed was amazing and the RokuTv was a nice big size. Although the throw pillows for sleeping pillows was weird. They were very small but doable for our one night stay. We would definitely stay their again but would bring our own pillows.

Not enough electric outlets in room. Need 2 for hearing aid chargers and 2 for cell phone chargers. To get enough outlets had to unplug micro wave and alarm clock. Breakfast....gravy in crock pot had been rewarmed 3 or more times. You could tell by seeing the number of rings dried around edge. Carpeting in hall needs to be replaced. Outlet at sink would accept 3 prong appliances but 2 prong chargers fell out and did not charge. Bathroom very small.

Hopefully this was a fluke evening

We have stayed at this hotel many times but this one was terrible. Hopefully it was a fluke but there was a couple arguing in the hallway, for a long time (about 11:00 p.m), then there were children making all kinds of racket, bouncing on beds, running around, etc (about 1230 a.m), for at least an hour. The staff did nothing about either of these. To top off, in the morning we found a roach in our room.

The room stunk and had a bad mold smell. There was a hair in the sink, pillow covers stained, comforter stained and there were numerous wall patches. The tv was horrible. I was leary about a Motel 8 but he ratings I read were good. However, it did not match our experience. Next time I will pay the higher price to stay elsewhere.

The room was fine but the staff was rude. Nowhere did it say that people visiting us couldn't use the pool, so when we found out after my dad had come to visit us and swim with us, he was more of less kicked out. Not only that, but the staff pushed past me and my sister during breakfast. The phone in the room doesn't work and the man at the front desk was rude when I called to ask for extra toilet paper because we were out. The AC unit works great but the heat setting smells like a fire is about to start. The parking lot is incredibly cramped, and the gravy in the crock pot looks like it's never stirred. I was going to bring my service dog until I found out I'd have to pay the pet fee despite her not being a pet. Honestly I wish I could give it zero stars. Stay at the hotel across the street if I'm honest.
