The room was clean and well appointed (coffee, fridge, shampoo, body wash, hair dryer, etc). There was even plenty of drawer space for clothing, which seems to be disappearing from many hotel rooms these days. The staff was friendly and efficient, and this is by far the most affordable option within walking distance of downtown. We would happily stay here again.

The manager on duty was very helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean and comfortable. The property was convenient, being only a 12-minute walk or 4-minute bike ride to Healdsburg Plaza. My only complaint was the poor WiFi signal.

The appearance from the outside does not do the rooms justice. Rooms were clean and seemed to have been freshly updated. They had a Keurig coffee maker instead of one of those cheaper coffee makers that use tray type coffee.
The only thing I would suggest would be a small mini mart in the lobby.

We didn't realize this was more of a motel than I hotel, but we were exceedingly pleased to see that it had been completely remodeled and this beautiful place to stay. It's really enjoyed everything about our stay. From the check-in just comfortable beds to the extreme cleanliness. The swimming pool and hot tub or wonderful! Really good jets in the spa and nice hot water. RV to check us in was very friendly and efficient. We would stay here again.

Great location and value for money in Healdsburg. It’s an older property but the rooms were clean and roomy. We had an issue with the fridge in our room and the manager was very helpful.
The only real downside for me was the WiFi. It was very spotty making it impossible to get any work done. But if you are just vacationing it might not be an issue.

Very friendly front desk person placed me in a king suite in the back. It was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable. An easy walk into town and close to the public transit that I needed. The swimming pool was chilly but clean and refreshing. The pool did have a lot of road noise, from its proximity to 101, but I still appreciated it after the walk back from town. I would definitely stay here again.

I drove down from Seattle in two days with our bicycles for a six-day bicycle trip. Motel format is awesome. I parked next to my door, put the bicycles in my room. Dinner was a short walk and breakfast coffee the next morning ditto. Very friendly staff, too!

There were ants in my bathroom, and the bathroom wasn't cleaned deeply. There were hairs on the wall, in crevices, and dust/an oily substance around the mirror. I was surprised it appeared generally clean, but certain areas overlooked such as white splatters all over the bed's baseboard. The hotel clerk was really kind and helpful but I was disappointed in the room's cleanliness. I was also under the impression breakfast was included at booking (it was listed here on Expedia.) I saw no breakfast nor was it ever mentioned. The staff did respond to my complaint and apologized regarding the cleanliness.

We were a party with two rooms and the only ones at the hotel when we checked in. Later in the evening another couple checked in and were placed right next door. They had loud, foul-mouthed, threating arguments all the next morning - I almost called the police, the threats were that bad. WHY ON EARTH, THE THE ENTIRE PLACE EMPTY, WERE WE RIGHT NEXT TO THEM?
The walls were WAY too thin.

Friendly easy check in, room appeared clean and well maintained, however it wasn't until morning we realized the toilet seat was cracked making it difficult to sit on, and based on the wear, it had been for a while. The sink was also cracked through, and the tub caulk was heavily failed which made things feel dirty and uncared for.

Fairview Inn 2-day in advance cancellation policy caused us to lose $200 when event we were going to travel to Healdsburg for was canceled. Most roadside motels (and the Fairview Inn is a roadside motel, not a “resort”) allow cancellations a day ahead , not two. Not happy with motel policy.

Don’t go to this Hotel!!!

Normally I don’t like to complain but this is our 2nd trip to this hotel being placed in the same room and even though I made a complaint last time about the room nothing was fixed upon our arrival. The cold water facet handle was still broken and you have to get into the tub to try and make it work. The floor was dirty and we couldn’t go barefoot. There were 2 boxes of baking soda sitting on the night stand and I guess to absorb the smell. The main room air conditioner did not work and it was like an oven in the main room. The remote in the bedroom did not work so there was 1 channel to watch. I pulled the mattress cover up on the edge of the mattress back because I found a bug on the sheets and it was disgusting. I don’t think they have ever vacuumed it. I had to wash out the tub because a bunch of stuff blew out of the jets. I went to the front desk and the young girl working didn’t seem to care at all. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I will not return. It’s to bad because it was an easy location and could be a nice room if the management cared. Zero stars for the hotel.
