When we have arrived, the hotel was “closed” with no reception. Sign at the door asked us to check in in the nearby Shell petrol station. The station staff was helpful but with poor english therefore apart from obtaining the keys, we were really not given any other info (eg, to use side doors to get in to the hotel building - we had to figure this out thanks to another sign) so the initial experience was… unusual.
However, the room was clean, served its purpose and the receptionist in the morning was super nice and helpful. We were offered limited breakfast options (I believe due to lack of staff) and overall were happy with our stay. Hotel is right next to the motorway so not a place to hang around, but great if you need a place to stay overnight before continuing on your journey.

I should not recommend this place to anyone. This place is located in the middle of no where. Even it’s hard to get Uber down there.

Spend two separate nigths here, both was ok. Petrol station and Mcdonnalds and other food shop next to the hotel so that was very handy. We ordered a breakfast for 12€/person, i think was a fair food served for this money. We eat full ourself, so managed to have a long first drive after check out from the hotel. Room is clean, had a extra small baby cot. Also dog friendly, paid 15€ for our frenchy without a problem. Front and back hotel not too noise. But a little bit the hallway on each floor was. Overall was all ok, i think we gonna use it again when travelling to Hungary🇾🇪.

Like staying at a brand new Motel 6, truck stop adjacent. Not a place you want to just hang out in the parking lot all day but totally fine for a place to sleep near the Autobahn. Very short walk to (also brand new) roadside shop and Cafe, including a McDonald's for a cheap-ish breakfast. Reception was open very late which is a nice bonus.

Ok hotel but let down by service station location
Decent hotel with nice simple but clean rooms. Room smelt of rotten eggs upon entering, drains in bathroom smelt bag, had to vent out the room upon arrival. Decent free open wifi. We have stayed at other Serways including one about 30 minutes down the road from this one which were much better. This hotel is located on a very old fashioned and basic services, more of a trucker services really. Hotel car park was packed and the service car park was rammed with trucks. Be warned this hotel has literally no where to get dinner, arrived at 8am and the hotel had nothing, restaurant in services had left overs which I wouldn't even feed my dog whilst petrol station had one sandwich left over.

Stayed here for an overnight stop travelling along the A3. We expected standard motorway accommodation but were pleased and surprised by the quality on offer. The bedroom was a little on the small size, but for an overnight stop, not really an issue. Although on a motorway service area, it was very quiet, with the hotel a little way from the main services buildings.
Breakfast was another pleasant surprise, with a good selection of hot and cold food, served in the hotel, not in the services themselves. Overall, a really good find, we would have no hesitation in returning again in the future.

The room was comfortable and clean though there was little desk space. Good Wi-Fi. The staff was attentive and courteous. The breakfast was good. Parking was free, which is something we did not find else were during this trip to Germany. There is no restaurant nearby except for the truck stop eatery. Hotel was on the north side of A3 so it takes some work on the GPS to get to it if you are traveling east on A3. I would recommend this hotel if you are not looking for something luxurious.

The inside of the hotel rooms are clean, and the employees are generally not unfriendly. The hotel is located in a highway rest area, so you have to drive 8km round trip to get to the other side. There is no refrigerator or water boiler in the room, and there is no shared refrigerator. If this isn't an inconvenience, it's not a bad facility for the price.

Helaas was de temperatuur op de kamer bij binnenkomst 27 graden en was het lastig om de airco in te stellen. Airco op volle stand was zeer luidruchtig. Bij binnenkomst hing er al een rioollucht in de kamer. Raam open werd niet geadviseerd vanwege insecten en het ontbreken van insectenhorren.

Keine Heizung, es war kalt im Jänner im Zimmer. Frühstück nächsten Tag bei der Tankstelle komplett überteuert, alles extra bezahlen. Hotel steht auf Autobahnparkplatz.

Die Lage an der Raststätte ist vor allem dann günstig, wenn man auf der Durchreise ist. Ich hatte in der Nähe zu tun und musste dann etwas umständlich wieder hinfahren. Eine Zufahrt vond er Landstraße wäre schön, die ist ein paar Meter daneben, aber wahrscheinlich nicht möglich. Ansonsten ist es sauber und das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist angemessen. WIe so oft gibt es auf dem Zimmer nur indirektes Schummerlicht. Der angenehm große Fernseher ist die hellste Lichtquelle.

NIE WIEDER! Respektlose Empfangsdame die mich neben Ihrer Kollegin beleidigt hat, nicht funktionierende Klimaanlage bzw Raumerhitzer, schmutzige und unangenehm riechende Zimmer! Ich musste mich 2 Tage damit rumschlagen bis ich von einer freundlichen und kompetenten Kollegin von Ihr die Stornierung und Rückerstattung erhalten habe. Auf Beschwerde E-Mail hat der Hotelleiter sich mit 2 Sätzen geäußert. Gebe nächstesmal lieber 50-100€ mehr aus und habe dann wenigstens meine Ruhe.
