Ein schönes Zimmer, gut ausgestattet, in einem interessanten Gebäude. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ich war ein bisschen enttäuscht, dass das Grillrestaurant neben dem Hotel dauerhaft geschlossen war. Das Hotel restaurant war jedoch in Ordnung, allerdings vielleicht ein bisschen teurer als erhofft.

No good this time round

Not a good welcome. Or friendly at all. Stay here a good few times with my team.

Was told to early for check in. Only wanted to drop my bag. Attitude from reception. Normally lovely people on reception.

Went to room eventually 2 hours later, toilet wasn’t clean and used. Won’t go into detail but no paper in pan only something else.

The room was so hot and only a fan. Was at least 35c in that room.

Planes fly ing straight over from nearby airport at 5am then have to close windows. Up goes the temperature.

Was also normally €10 for breakfast and reception said it’s now €25 if you don’t pay it on the web. Think she had that wrong. Anyway no breakfast for me unfortunately.

Not a good experience this time for sure. Probably won’t go back now.

Barman was a lovely happy helpful person BTW.

Modern and clean rooms, altough there was no AC. Also no kettle or fridge. It is located in a quiet neigborhood, but far from public transport (20 min walk to the S and DB trains). Would probably be best for people/groups with a car. The staff member that welcomed us was cold and seemed annoyed by our questions. Very little information was given to us, only our room number; nothing on amenities or services.

This hotel is brand new, the room excellent, and comfortable. The downside is it in a terrible section of Frankford, only restaurant option was in the hotel which was very good. We did not feel safe in the area this hotel was located in
The train to the Ctr of the city was a 20-minute walk in a bad area If you have get to the airport, it's not bad if you have a car. Less than 15 min away. Without a car you're in trouble. Bottom line very nice hotel, but I would not stay there again because of the area around the property

This hotel is a great option if you’re visiting Offenbach or Frankfurt. The rooms are spacious and clean, there’s a bar in the reception area, and a nice restaurant right next door. A supermarket is across the street and there are two bus stops a few meters away. The city’s main shopping street is a 20 minute walk away. All in all, an excellent hotel for the price point and all the nearby amenities. Reception staff are helpful. I enjoyed my short stay here. Thank you!

Show me the money

On checking in we were told our room was ready. Good I thought I could get the bags out of the car. Then I was informed that each extra hour would cost me €10. The bags stayed in the car and we made up your minds not to spend a penny more in this hotel. No breakfast or drink at the bar. When I left at 8am next day I should of asked for a refund for the 3 or 4 hours I hadn't used the room. I won't use Achat again.

Checked in with friends - the staff acted very coldly towards us. Went up to room, could not get in, door would not work. Went down to lobby, they insulted my intelligence by telling me “the door does not open on its own”. Went back up after no help, had to slam my entire body weight against the door to get in. Shortly after - my friends send me a picture and a call showing and saying that they found bed bugs in their bed. Disgusted, we checked our bed to find no less than 3 bugs. We packed quickly, mortified, and went down to check out, where they told us when it came to a refund “we will do what we can.”. We were able to find another hotel that night and left at about 10:30 PM. It has been two days, and it has been radio silence. Hoping to hear back and get a refund for our two nights.

Issues with booking. When I arrived the reception said the booking payment was declined, dispite another room on the same booking being approved.

I showed the Expedia reciept clearly showing the booking had two paid for rooms. Also the bank statement matching the payment amount. But the receptionist insisted I had to pay for 1 room still and claim it back off Expedia.

Great hotel- nicer in new area attached to reception. Was kid my moved from the second block at back to the newly refurbished area (not any different but felt safer). Staff we very helpful.
But not close to anything. About 20 min walk to sbahn then ride for 15 more into centre. Had I know this wouldn’t stayed this far out. But apart from that it was good.

I’m not satisfied with service of this property, they have old furniture, they don’t change a bedsheets only once in 7 days which absolutely not appropriate, and they don’t have AC in the room TV is broken no Chanel. Terrible experience!

Interesting place. Looks kind of like an old factory on the outside. Went to a concert at the Stadthalle (sp?) It was a bit of a walk but not too far. A little expensive but a nice place.

The staff at registration was great. Room was great. Restaurant staff was more than great. The food was great.
The only negative was that the night staff failed to provide the requested wake up call at 2:30 a.m. Had I not used by cell phone as a back-up, we would have missed our flight for sure. The person at the desk insisted he called twice...bull! My wife has very good hearing and wakes up at a pin drop. My cell phone woke us up.

Stay in a former slaughterhouse - novel experience

Because the rooms are in only 3 storey structures they are spread out. It can be quite a hike to some rooms. I've stayed here 3 or 4 times via Expedia and every time I have been allocated a room about the furthest from reception you can be - must be the Expedia rooms.

The rooms are all, in excellent conditions and clean, with a small refrigerator (some German hotels don't have them). Wide range of TV channels available as well. The down side is that there in no air con. I see that the rooms are equipped with tower fans which can help. Here's the problem though, the hotel is on the flight path to Frankfurt airport with the windows closed you get excellent sound insulation, but if you want the windows open in the heat you can have issues. When the wind is coming from the West, the approach to the airport is over the Hotel, Even worse it starts at about 4:00 am, and even worser there is a tidal wave of landings that use both main runways at once. So either stay hot or be woken up!

The food situation is odd. The only dining area is clearly intended only for breakfast. The actual breakfast is OK but the warm (it's never hot) food selection is very limited. Often there are not enough staff on duty, you have to for a seat and compete with the many tour busses. The room is dismally decorated and looks worse in the evening, and the very very limited menu says to me that you don't want you to eat there.

There is a Tex Mex place next door which saves the day

We have stayed here several times during the years. This year they are charging for tee bags after the first day stay for about 3euros a piece and freeze dried coffe is offered on the first day stay and then they has for money. Why have a hot water maker if they want to charge for these amenities? I can understand coffee capsules but packages of freeze dried coffee and tee bags?

Very complicated lay out of the hotel so we had to walk a maze of corridors and elevators to get to our room
only one stàff member on reception in the evening meant it took ages for someone to respond to our request
Although ig said free parking this was limited to only a few spaces so it was difficult to find somewhere close to the hotel

If you are thinking of staying, don't.

When we first arrived, we entered the room and there was no t.v. - it looked more like a prison cell than a hotel room.

We were then moved to another room - only thing different from the last one was that it had a tv. From a 4 star hotel i would also not expect to make my own bed every evening. The duvet was no thicker than 10 pieces of paper and we only had one pillow on the bed.

Breakfast was okay, but the people who worked there were incredibly unwelcoming and did not help at all.

Quite needs to be improved

I spent 3 days in ACHAT which did not make a money-worth trip.

1) Aweful internet. Bad signal & needs to be logged in with code EVERY TIME.

2) Unstable shower temperature almost burned me once!

3) Overall furniture is a bit out dated, and I surprisingly found codweb in this claimed 4-star hotel! See picture attached.

4) Few selection of breakfast. Not worth 17€ at all.

5) Not well-equipped gym. No dumb-bells available which nowadays is common in a 4-star hotel.

Neither recommend nor coming back.

Good for sleeps, but go next door door food!

I have spend 4 working weeks here for business and it is great staying here! The rooms are comfortable, I love the sauna in the tower, and the restaurant next door (Stars Lounge) offers good quality food. (The hotel restaurant does not, IMHO)
It is not the most inspiring neighborhood, but it is easy to take a subway into Frankfurt or Offenbach centrum.

I RECENTLY STAYED AT THIS HOTEL FOR A SHORT 24 HOUR BREAK. I FOUND THEHOTEL VERY PLEASANT TO STAY IN AND THE STAFF WERE FRIENDLY, THE RESTUARANT WAS PLEASANT FOR BOTH AN EVENING MEAL AND BREAKFAST, THE ONLY THING I FOUND I WAS MISSING IN MY ROOM WAS COFFEE/TEA MAKING FACILITIES, BUT THIS IN NO WAY SPOILT MY ENJOYMENT OF STAYING HERE. nice place to stay but if I'm in offenbach again I'll stay in the centre as it's top far out and quige remote so possibly not safe to walk late at night. breakfast was extra which was annoying. also I wasn't in main hotel building so felt isolated.

The rooms and bathrooms are good size, beds are comfortable. You are provided with a coffee/tea maker, but no refrigerator. Only four rooms in the entire hotel have Air Conditioning, a must have for the summer. Staff is friendly.

arrived 7th of July departed 10th of July, I am so glad my business partner booked me in at the Achat, fantastic location, professional and helpful staff.

Room was spacious and had all what i needed in it, food had a great selection for breakfast from the buffet.

I travel a lot with being an international and Global businessman and i could not fault this hotel.

Would come back without hesitation and will do as i build my business bigger in Frankfurt and Offenbach.

The hotel had a lot of character on the outside and a maze-like floor plan with very clean rooms on the inside. We booked a king bed several months in advance, but when we checked in all they had were rooms with two twin beds. After speaking to the front desk, they had someone come in and remove the night stand (it was screwed to the wall) between the two beds and push them together. While this was not an ideal solution, it was the best option available and I appreciate the effort. The \"city view\" was an interior courtyard, however we did not book the hotel for the view. It is an easy and convenient 15-20 minute walk to the Stadthalle Offenbach, with several grocery stores and a few fast-food type restaurants along the way. The pillows (1 each) were very soft, but not supportive. Definitely ask for extra pillows.

The hotel is comfortable and located in a quiet residential neighborhood but at certain times if you leave the window open you can hear airplanes flying overhead because Frankfurt airport is a hub. Like other hotels in Europe don't expect a porter to carry your luggage to your room.
You can request one if you need help.

Great hotel, but not close to downtown Frankfurt

Not so close to centre of Frankfurt, costs about 30-40 euro by taxi. Very good reception staff and a great place to stay. There are a few shops nearby if you want to pickup snacks etc. Would certainly stay again if on a personal trip, as price was good.

The hotel is an expansive complex of nicely restored & attractive buildings, many with high ceilings & many windows. Room was a walk from the reception, with hall- & passageways & two elevators connecting room and lobby. Surprising, but for me OK. Price was fair and service, though for the most part inexperienced, convincing en puncto effort.

At the reception the hotel rest. came recommended: inexpensive, but good. My first meal featured a meat dish in which the flesh was not lean, nor tender nor tasty, likewise the sauce. Deer meat in Germany is served generally at this time of year as a delicacy. My waitor did his best to understand and compensate. It is a four star hotel. No white wine on hand that eve, likewise no decaf. Next night, I was served a meal, a cold poultry dish w/ salad, not the warm turkey dish ordered. Again, the waitor, this time actually the barman subbing as a waitor, did his best. That matters, right? – Just why the breakfast here comes in the form of a buffet, all you can eat, take it or leave it, was at first confusing and frustrating for me. Esp. at a price of 17.€. But after my experience in this rest., well, it makes sense. \"Inexpensive, but good.\"

Hotel is a modest walk from town, where, by the way, a good breakfast can be had for around 10.€, and the hotel features a sauna-area which I found clean and reasonably well-maintained. So was my room.

Amazing place worth staying at. Will be back!

Adorable hotel nestled in the town of Offenbach about fifteen minutes from Frankfurt. The town has a small town feel and is really nice.
The hotel is nice, very clean, room is spacious and staff are very friendly and can speak English.
They have a restaurant at the hotel but I suggest that you venture out and eat else where because it is expensive, 17 euro for a very small buffet breakfast. I suggest stepping out the front doors and going about fifteen feet to the right and eating at Stars Lounge, great price for food and drinks and outstanding staff.

Nice and curtious staff. Extremely clean room. Very nice building. Small close parking and a larger 2 minutes away parking.
Grocery store is 60 seconds away.
In room brocoures needs improvement. For example, I could not find in any paper in the room how to call the reception or room service

Great Value for the Money

Great mid-priced hotel. Could not ask for more. Breakfast was really good and many options on the buffet. I'm not sure what more they could do to make it better.

The only thing I would suggest, and this applies to other hotels that we stayed in, is to rent a GPS since the signs for the hotels are about the size of an envelope. You definitely could drive by and miss it if you are not watching carefully. But we would definitely stay there again.

overall a great hotel. we did have a tour group of people who were talking really loud at 5am in the morning that woke us up which was annoying, had to get up and yell into the hallway to get them to be quiet. our room also easily filled with smell of cigarette smoke as the hotel is a smoking hotel and i suppose all the vents are connected to each other from room to room, that was also annoying. everytime we came back to the hotel room from visiting the city, our room smelled like smoke and we had to air it out. the hotel is relatively far from the local sbahn that takes you into city center and other places as the hotel is situated in a more residential zone. it was about a 20 minute power walk for us. we didnt get breakfast at the hotel in the mornings as it was pricey but they do offer free coffee and later at night free apples and appleschorle or orange juice.

Good business hotel outside Frankfurt

Nice clean room, good location for business outside Frankfurt. The hotel is located in old market / warehouse, expect to walk a lot to reach the room from reception / restaurant. Overall good hotel .

Nice hotel in suburban neighborhood of Frankfurt

Achat hotel is in this very cool looking restored older building in Germany. Although its not in downtown Frankfurt, its in a suburban area with markets, restaurants and the such. Having a car would be helpful when staying at this hotel. The rooms are simple but clean and functional. Wifi is a little pricey but par for course in europe. Parking can be a little tough to get but was never impossible. I'd stay here again on a short layover or trip through the area

Whatever you do, DO NOT give this hotel your visa.

We have been going to the Achat every year at Christmas time. Although everything is pretty much shut down over Christmas it is very quiet and in past we have put up with a few inconveniences. I am not sure if ownership has changed hands but very little is as stated on expdeia. There is no wi-fi in the rooms, which we paid extra for. They would not refund us. There is no 24 hour room service as advertised.

Also on check out the manager said that she never received a cancellation from expedia, which I had the paper work for, and she proceeded to charge my visa for an additional 8 days.

Absolute ROBBERY!! I have been trying to get in touch with the Achat \"manager\" since we got home and finally did. Her response was that they held the rooms for us. We were one out maybe 4 other guests staying in the hotel at the time.

Clean, Standard Hotel, Unique Layout & Building

If you are looking for somewhere to stay in Frankfurt near the airport, but not at the airport this is perfect. We got in late, had a good and reasonably priced dinner at the hotel restaurant, slept for 5 hours and went to the airport. It was perfect. Wish we would have seen it during the day as it has a very cool layout and vibe. Rooms are standard hotel rooms, clean, and well appointed in terms of tea, coffee, and bathroom amenities.

very nice business hotel, but ...

all in all a good and pleasant hotel. The ownly flaw - no aircondition and on hot days the rooms heat up to much and it i hard to find a restful sleep. During my stay the outside temperture hit 35 deg C and the rooms turned into a sauna. Luckily for the hotel such days are rare in Germany and that was pretty much the only negative point.

What is sure the hotel provides good value for your money. It is very reasonable priced and is in a good location - 10 min per car away from the center.

Wi-Fi was unavailable in our room during our stay and there were some temporary problems with the elevators, but otherwise it was a good experience. There is a grocery store across the street, but otherwise not too much else. Frankfurt was a 10-15 minute cab ride away.
