The property is beautiful. It’s a bit outside of the main Frankfurt area but it’s only about 15 mins so not bad. The hotel has a park which is so pretty to walk around in. Both the indoor and outdoor pools are really nice and well maintained.

We arrived at 10:00 PM, and the room was missing a child's bed, even though we clearly stated that we are three people with a 5-year-old child.
There were also missing toiletries in the bathroom.
We had to wait almost an hour until the room was properly arranged, which was very inconvenient given our early flight the next morning.

The bed’s feels like you’re sleeping on the box spring. Called 2 weeks before check in to ask about early check in and was toward it wouldn’t be a problem since it was a Tuesday. Even offered to pay an extra day. The gentleman said it wasn’t necessary just call when we land, which we did at 9am. Upon arriving at the hotel the lady said the hotel is full and would notify us when our room was ready. We got our room after check in time of 3pm. The manager said we would get something for our troubles and we didn’t receive anything. Very disappointing in Hilton and wouldn’t recommend this property.

New Year Overnight Stay

The hotel was old and badly needs updating in terms of interiors. The elevators were beat-up looking.
The bathrooms and rooms were spacious and clean but the furnishings were old. It seems only a piece or two of furniture here and there were reupholstered recently.

The sheets were clean but scratchy with low thread count and the pillows although down feathers- was near empty/hollow.

The closet pantry was well stocked but smelled awful (at least) in our room. Smelled like old socks or maybe a wet rag smell.

Other than that it was a comfortable enough stay for 1 night but we can definitely find better options for the price.

The location and grounds were great beside a lake of some sort but Hilton should really work on future renovation plans for the property.

Fantastic Hotel !

This is my 5th visit to the hotel and I can’t stop coming back for more . Even though the hotel is far from the messe ( about 20 mins ) it’s really worth the effort considering the luxury and Gradeur we experience at the end of a hard days work . The champagne breakfast to start your day with the ever smiling and warm
Welcoming staff just makes a perfect beginning to your day . The rooms are big and fantastic with Excellent bedding , great view , heated flooring & big French windows. Will be coming back time and again ! Thank you Team Kempinski .

PS €32 taxi into centre from here, else you are stranded in an hotel with only one restaurant open.

We clicked in late, we’re unable to use the pool (closes at 8pm). Only one of the restaurants was open on a Saturday night. Could not sleep from cigarette smell.
Went to use the pool at 8 am, they charged 20 euros per towel.

Everything was fine except the breakfast. Irrespective of the price (that is 50% higher than average) the range of food and quality is similar to a holiday in or a 4 star offering. I ordered the eggs Benedict which is laughable. It looks like a bad McDonald’s muffin. Lastly there is not enough staff to give the quality of service you get from the rest of the hotel. Given this is the last thing we experienced before we checked out in the morning, it leaves a disappointing feeling.

Showers didn't work. Asked for double room, given twin. Internet is extra charge 15 euros or 30 euros. 3 rooms over 2 days Engineer in the third room, fixed the issue with shower. Problem is design of buttons for controls, they stick and need to be cleaned by engineer. Ive stayed in many of the five star hotels in Frankfurt and this is the worst. Will not be back.

It’s an airport hotel, but a nice one. The parts of the building that have been renovated are lovely, the other parts are dated.
The air con didn’t work during our stay but as this is Germany, it was just met with a shrug by the staff.
The grounds are really lovely.

Nothing negative to say. First class hotel through and through. Extremely professional and welcoming staff. Very nice facility - expertly maintained. My room opened to a large park - very much a resort feeling. Perhaps the nicest shower I've ever used, all stone and electronic, with buttons built into the shower wall for digital temperature adjustment, and the rainfall shower head the stone top of the shower itself. Restaurants were great. Priced comparable to similar restaurants in the USA.

We were there for an overnight stay while transiting in Frankfurt. We booked the hotel at the airport upon arrival. 20 minutes from the airport. Beautiful marble-clad renovated building on three floors, with views on a small lake and large gardens. The room (superior) was spacious will all the standard amenities. No balcony. The Wi-Fi throughout the hotel was weak and the tv in the room was difficult to tune to the your desired channel and was often reloading for minutes. Decent Lebanese restaurant. Cigar lounge and a large bar area.

So apart from the fact that it costs 30 euros to go any where even for a smalldinner . Unless your planning a weekend retreat . Stay away from this Hotel

I was greeted by a trainee intern at check in who had no clue how to handle my reservation . Afterwards , i was told that the king bed for the room I had booked wasn't available despite the fact that I had a non refundable booking that said KING bed. Instead of upgrading me The nervous intern told me I had to pay a extra 50 euro a night to get a bigger room and that I never had a guarantee that I would get a King bed. Which of course was rubbish but being two people and it was already 11pm . What choice did I have ?!? I tried to call Expedia to deal with the issue but I was put on hold too long so I gave up and ended up paying the ransom money

Of course what made this worse was that the nervous intern kept going back to her boss and discussing in german what to do instead of the front desk manager coming and handling the issue himself which was totally disrespectful.

After that incident . It really didn't matter what the hotel had to offer . They totally ruined the experience . Germans are great at making cars but horrible at running luxury hotels. Stick to a Hilton or a Marriott. I know I will next time I'm in Frankfurt

Totally lived up to expectations.

Kempinski has a great reputation in Europe and they lived up to all the expectations. The service was amazing. The property is beautiful. My stay was way too short. One tip: If you have a family member who has difficulty walking, request a room closer to the reception. The hotel is huge in length. We had one elder in our group that found it difficult. The overall experience was wonderful.

Resort nestled into German Woods

This suburban resort hotel has recently been spectacularly re-furbished. Set surrounding a pond on the edge of a woods you feel as if Hansel and Gretel might have stopped here...except the style is five-star. Four excellent restaurants. An amazing spa with two pools. Very good service. First rate concierge. I have stayed here for years and would recommend it to anyone. It is a 30 minutes and 25 euro taxi ride into downtown Frankfurt. There is public transportation but it requires a combination of train and bus and is somewhat inconvenient. Twenty minutes and 25 euro taxi ride to the airport. This hotel is a gem.

hotel is great. location isnt bad as theres a lake right besides it. we were supposedly given a free upgrade of a room too. breakfast good. the room is fully updated and very comfortable. my only reason for 3 stars is the experience at checkout was quite horrible. i was told that we were charged a no show fee for a massage appointment. yeah sure my wife did call the spa but never confirmed the appointment. honestly because the english of the staff wasnt great there was a mis-communication. completely understandable. problem was the arguement with the checkout staff telling us we didnt read the fine print in one of the books in the room and how he is very exprienced and has worked in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Seriously who cares? I am living in Kempenski. one of the more expensive and reputable hotels. do i care about money? NO! do i care about my reputation? YES! why would I lie for 50 Euros? i am telling you i did not confirm my appointment! on the phone my wife wasnt even told that appointment is confirmed and no show fees of 50 euros. the least they can do is trust their \"Guests\". the charges were removed but it was made to look like he did us a favor. if it was any other hotel especially the US the charges would have been removed and we would have been given free spa and starbucks coupons for misunderstanding the Guest!

A good nights sleep after relaxing in the bar.

Quiet location, easy to find, pleasant welcome, excellent service, reasonable bar prices and excellent in- room menu. Clean, comfortable and spacious room overlooking the lake. Sadly, the Asian restaurant was fully booked and the International restaurant menu was limited; nevertheless the breakfast was of good quality and variety synonymous with Kempinski hotels.

Excellent hotel Near Frankfurt

If you are looking for a hotel in Frankfurt (in the city), this is not for you. This is in the outskirts of the city. 10 - 15 minute drive from the airport. Very convenient to the airport, Offenbach and Neu Isenburg. Definitely need a car o hotel car to get around.
Great hotel; has a resort feel to it. Spacious rooms. Very nice service from the staff. Clean, and again, comfortable rooms. WiFi is included in the rate (I think it should be free in all hotels) and we had breakfast included as well which was fantastic. Lots of delicious options.
There is a restaurant in the property which is convenient since you cannot walk to restaurants nearby. The bar area is absolutely beautiful.
Loved our stay and can't wait to go back.
