My 4th stay here. Really nice rooms, very clean. The gentleman who is the night porter is very friendly and helpful. The only downside to my stay was at check out. I expected to just hand over my key but was told by the lady on reception that I owed nearly 500 euros. I told her I had already paid and she replied curtly “no you haven’t”. I explained again that I had paid Expedia when I booked. She spent a few minutes clicking away at her computer and then said “oh yes, you have paid”. She could have done that before telling me I hadn’t paid. I got no apology. My advice, make sure you have your receipt from when you book.

We were set to arrive after the reception had closed so they gave us a code to get into the building and told us where the keys were. The rooms were clean and functional, we were only there for a few hours between flights but it was comfy and clean enough to get a few hours sleep.

Arrived with confirmed reservation. Said they had no rooms available. Hotels.com saved the day. Additionally, even after we were turned away, they were still taking more reservations, so there were probably more disappointed guests.

Convenient to airport, cheap

Inexpensive, quiet, conveniently located close to the airport and on a bus line; across the street from a supermarket (Rewe). It was a perfect place for me to spend a night in between flights. The hotel is in a perfectly nice suburban area; I wouldn’t necessarily have stayed there if I were staying in Frankfurt for longer and if I wanted to be close to attractions.

Details about the bus: the bus stops at the airport are behind the glass building for the train station. Bus X19 stops at bus stop 17. You can buy a ticket on the bus for 3.15 euros; the trip takes about 20 minutes and you get off at Brunnenstrasse in Neu-Isenburg. The bus runs about every half hour on weekdays and hourly on weekends.

Quiet place close to Frankfurt - Tulip Inn hotel

The visit in hotel Tulip Inn was very good. The room was prepared properly well and the breakfast was very tasty, especially coffee. I highly recommended this place for those, who will spend time in Frankfurt and in Neu-Isenburg.

Quiet hotel close to the Frankfurt Airport

Hotel sits on a quiet street about a km from the main business district of Neu-Isenburg where there are many shops and restaurants. There isn't an airport shuttle, but transportation to and from the airport is easily done by public bus which stops in front of Terminal 1 and right out front of the hotel. The hotel offers a good buffet-style breakfast for a resonable fee and the room was quiet and comfortable.

For me it was very convenient because it was just around 100 meters away from where I needed to go.

The hotel is located just around 15 minutes walk away from Frunkfuter Strasse where all the shops, bars and restaurants are located. Just across the road, one finds a super market with coffee shop etc..

Bus 651 coming and going to the airport stops in front of the hotel!

It is truly a good value for money as I found it to be really comfortable and clean.

I highly recommend this hotel!

The rooms have no air conditioning, and the windows barely open.
Wifi is not free, and is fairly expensive at 7 Euros per night. (August 2012).
Bottled water is also expensive.

Otherwise no complaints.

Practical Hotel with Exceptional Staff

I have had a number of occasions to stay at the Friendly City Hotel, which is a hotel without pretense, it's simply a bed, internet and a tv, all in a good location for anyone motivated by airport proximity and is in a nice little town.

The staff of this hotel is the real hidden gem, and keeps me returning, with their eagerness to make my stay the best it can be.

Zentral für eine Geschäftsreise in Neu-Isenburg und gegenüber von Supermärkten und Bäckerei. Es fährt ein Bus direkt zum Flughafen und einer direkt zum Bahnhof Neu-Isenburg (S-Bahn).
Zimmer schön eingerichtet, sauber und mit ausreichend Platz. Empfangspersonal sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Ich bekam einen günstigen Preis ohne Stornierungsoption, ansonsten schon eher gehoben vom Preis.

Gute Unterkunft für Tagestouren

Waren nur zum Übernachten da, ohne Frühstück, das uns mit 18€/Person zu teuer war. Personal an der Rezeption war sehr nett. Einlass ins Hotel am Abend per Code, klappte ohne Probleme. Zimmer mit Bad war sauber, Betten ok, Fenster ließen keinerlei Fluglärm ins Zimmer. S-Bahn -Anschluss nach Frankfurt 15 Min. zu Fuss. Würden wir nochmal buchen.

Super Zentral an Frankfurt gelegen.
Mit dem Taxi in knapp 10 Minuten am Stadion.
Das komplette Personal war ausnahmslos Nett, Hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend.
Das Frühstück war mehr als ausreichend und sehr zu empfehlen.
Die Sauberkeit war hervorragend.
Die Zimmer gut eingerichtet.
Danke an das nette Team,das unseren Aufenthalt sehr sehr angenehm gestaltet hat!!!
Wir waren zum NFL Spiel da,und können dieses Hotel absolut empfehlen.

Wir waren voll zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt.
Von der Rezeption, die uns ein Taxi geordert hat bis zum Frühstück bei dem es extra für mich Glutenfreies Brot gab waren wir voll zufrieden. Es war sauber und das Zimmer war auch sauber und schön. Das Bad ist schon etwas älter, aber vollkommen ausreichend :)

The most horrible wireless in years

The wireless was practically non existing. Not even possible to access email properly. I had work to do and it was impossible. This is not what a hotel in the vicinity of a business hub like a Frankfurt airport should guarantee. The room was ok and the service kind, but connectivity is a basic service nowadays. Zimmer ohne Klimaanlage. Fenster lassen sich öffnen, positiv. Aufgrund des Fluglärm aber keine wirkliche Hilfe.
Top Anbindung zum Flughafen, Busstopp vor der Tür. Ambiente aus den 80 Jahren. Nicht wirklich gemütlich und schön eingerichtet. Zimmer riecht muffig, Abflüsse Dusche und Waschbecken sehr sehr langsam, teilweise verstopft. Checkin unprofessionell und wenig freundlich. Die Dame braucht viel Training!

Im Sommer kann es in den Zimmern etwas zu warm werden ,weil es keine KLimaanlage gibt, Das Fenster kann man wegen des Lärmes von der Durchgangsstrasse nicht öffnen, in der Mehrzahl der Tage - der kühleren Jahreszeiten dürfte das kein Problem sein

Bij aankomst was er niemand bij receptie. Toen er wel een receptionist opdook was die eerst onbeleefd en niet geïnteresseerd en bij checkout wederom. Slechte service.
Kamer was OK maar pas na de ramen 30 min. te hebben geopend. Drukke weg geeft veel lawaai.

Sehr gutes Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis. Habe schon schlechter geschlafen/gefrühstückt und mehr bezahlt. Die Zimmer sind nicht die modernsten und haben schon einige Nächte auf dem Buckel, aber alles ist ordentlich und sauber. Einen Punktabzug gibt es jedoch für den Fön, nichts für Langhaarige, geht wegen Überhitzung nach einiger Zeit aus. Erwartet man einfach eine gute Übernachtungsmöglichkeit ohne viel Schnörkel oder Extras wie einer tollen Hotelbar dann ist man im Tulip Inn gut aufgehoben.
