First, the corridors near the rooms had a very unpleasant smell.

Second, and this was the main reason for my low rating, on our first night—while we were asleep—someone opened our room door and entered, despite the door being locked and a “Do Not Disturb” sign placed outside. We woke up terrified. I immediately went outside to see who it was and found a man who said he was from the reception.

I later followed him downstairs to ask for an explanation. He apologized and claimed there was a mistake in the booking system, saying the room was shown as not equipped or unoccupied. This explanation was not convincing. As a result, for the rest of our stay, we felt unsafe and had to place a chair and our luggage behind the door every night.

Can’t go wrong with this hotel. I stayed here for 3 nights and everything was perfect. The room was pretty clean, staff were nice, water was hot and pressure was strong. Basically this hotel is exactly as advertised and I would definitely recommend it!

Solo traveler, perfect size for one traveler or a couple, shower is next to the bed, toilet is behind a closed door, really quiet and only heard an occasional ambulance on the street, nice staff, good location out of the crowded areas, nice walking on the river path a couple of blocks away

Pay a little more for a better place

I wouldn't stay again. The bed was very uncomfortable. The 3 person room we were in had the shower right next to the bed which would have been fine if I was traveling by myself, but the two teenage girls with me really wanted privacy. The light in the bathroom is on a very short timer and kept turning off. AC never worked so our choices were to roast or have the window open with all the street noise and smoke from smokers floating into our room.

The ibis budget was good, as the name suggests, for a budget stay for a night. However it was clear from the checkin process to the materials of the room, to the staffing and lack of amenities that this is a property designed to be serviced by the smallest staff possible as quickly as possible. All flooring surfaces in the room were shades of brown impermeable linoleum, sheets were thin and stark white, both ready to be bleached. Room cards were disposable and there was no check out process. While check out was at 11, room service came around at 9 and had no interest in coming back to the room when I was done getting ready. The assortment of towels provided were random — I had a bathmat and 3 bath towels in a room for 2, but no hand towel. The location however was good — beside several restaurants with active social scene. The nearest train station was close, though currently under construction and so with fewer scheduled trains. Breakfast was listed as included in booking, but they charge 11.50€.

Excellent for what we needed.

The staff were very helpful and friendly considering it was a very busy time in the city.
Stayed for 6 days during the football tournament and the city was very busy.
Unfortunately it was very noisy as is on a main busy street.
The transport to and from the hotel is great and only a 4 min walk to the subway and 2 mins to the trams.
The staff were very helpful when we asked about something.
The rooms were clean and very basic but but grea if thats all you need.
The price was a bitore because of the tournament and demand but if there was a good price its well worth staying.

For the price this was a great place to stay! We enjoyed the location as it was really easy to walk to everything (approx 30-45 mins to main tourist area) plus had quite a few dining options nearby. I will say that I think the breakfast is overpriced for the options that are available and most days we ate elsewhere. The bed was not the most comfortable but we got used to it for the few nights that we were there.

Overall it was good for a night stay. I didn't like the shower and sink situation at all. A proper bathroom would be so much better.
Also, we found a cigarette lighter on the chair and more than 10 cigarette butts on the window sill when we opened the window. It was disgusting. The hotel supposed to be non-smoking.

The rooms were very large and clean. The area was walkable to Cafe and restaurants.
I did not know budget meant really hard beds, and awful pillows. I don't think the AC was working never did figure it out. If looking for city stay it is good for a quick few hours of sleep. I would not recommend for a longer stay for comfort.

The room was very small. The shower was very small too. There was smoke smell on the floor we lived . The air conditioning didn’t work at night. It was hot my family and I couldn’t go to bed. mosquitoes bitten us all night.
I personally do not recommend this place.

Great value for the price in a very nice and quiet neighborhood. Parking is easy in the public parking (but quite safe) underground of the hotel. It's 15€/day which is on par in the area.
Staff was really nice and the room big enough. Not much privacy in the bathroom but not too much noise in the hotel, maybe we were lucky it didn't seem full.
Good dining options around and downtown is about 40mn walk.

Entrance hard to find

The hotel’s address corresponds to another business. Spent 20 minutes with full luggage in the sun trying to contact A passerby finally told me the hotel is actually on a side street. Clerk told us that it was not a problem because taxi drivers know where the hotel is. WRONG! Taxi driver left us in the wrong place! Ibis sign at the wrong address is 8 feet tall, at the side street, about one foot tall😡

Great hotel, amazing location

Service and location were amazing, and the hotel was super clean. The foom design was a disaster. The room was large but so sparsely furnished that it was an echo chamber. There's insufficient desk and counter space for a laptop or other personal belongings. Having a kettle in the room would help too. Can't say enough good things about the staff ... they were amazing!

We expect a certain basicness with Ibis Budget accommodations and were quite satisfied with most aspects of our stay, except for the following:

Free Wi-Fi kept dropping and out - while I expected a slower speed, I would not expect a decrease in the quality of the actual service.

The mattress was unusually hard. We have slept in 91 different beds in the past ten months travelling around Europe. This was the hardest bed by far.

The checkout process was efficient.

This hotel has really really good service and specially General manager Mr. Greco is very serious about customer service. In my case, he has upgraded my room without any additional cost just because he wanted to make me feel better during my stay. This is what I call courtesy. 100% recommended hotel.

Pay close attention to the kind of room you book. A 3 adults room may be a full bed plus a twin size bunker bed on top of the other couple. Not very fun for grown ups. I guess it sounds like a great plan for kids.
Also, the shower is tiny tiny, there's no way you can get all your clothes without soaking them. Zero privacy. Had tl leave the room so others could shower. Wouldn't recommend.

Perfeito, dentro do padrão íbis budget. Gosto do Íbis porque sei o que encontrar. No caso desse, é bem localizado, embora longe da estação de trem. No entanto, tem estação do metrô na esquina. Há alguns restaurantes ao lado (recomendo o L’Osteria), café da manhã tem um muito bom na esquina (não compensa pagar o do íbis). Há um parque bem legal próximo às margens do rio: se gostar de caminhada vale a pena, no caminho tem restaurantes, quiosques com cerveja, café, lanches até outra parte da cidade.

It's a bit strange that there was no bag for the trash bin. Also, the toilet brush had no holder, and they put a big, ugly bucket there instead. As for the triple room—I don't know about the others—it was spacious but poorly laid out. It had a double bed and a bunk bed, and the rest of the space was empty. The bunk bed was too childish; climbing up and down was a nightmare. There were no closets, and the bathroom itself was odd. The shower and sink were next to the bed, and the toilet was in a separate room with a door. The lighting could be better.

In Fußnähe gibt es unzähkige Einkaufs- und Verköstigungsmöglichkeiten.
Die Uferpromenade lädt Groß und Klein ein, ob zum entspannen oder toben es ist für jedermann etwas dabei.

Overall, an excellent stay. The room and bathroom are small, but that doesn't take anything away from the stay.
Breakfast is simple but adequate for an \"ibis budget\" hotel.
The staff was always polite and helpful.
The location is very good, with easy access to the Tram and S-Bahn, as well as nearby supermarkets and other conveniences.
The hotel accepts parcels, but the address provided is not the one at the main entrance, which causes problems with deliveries. I suggest the hotel to update it on all pages (official and hotel platforms).
Overall, I recommend it as a low-cost option for a short stay.
