Close to the metro, nice staff and a clean room. The bed sucked (hard as a board, which seems to be a theme for European hotels), and the shower is an accident waiting to happen, with its curved plastic floor. But the price was good.

The bed light was flickering an making an loose electrical noise all night, my wife had a shower in the morning and the shower automatically turned scolding hot and the door was sticking luckily she got out in time but slipped over and hurt herself in doing so. It’s meant to be 4 stars but is very basic and quite tired looking. The staff were nice though but everything else was unfortunately disappointing.

Bed was comfy with nice pillows. We didn't have breakfast and we're going to use the restaurant one evening, but found out it was closed all August and staff must have been on holiday. Would have liked to have been told about this when we checked in.
Reception were really helpful and printed out 3 restaurants which had typical food from Frankfurt. These were really nice and it was very nice if him to do that. There are subways nearby and and everything is close as Frankfurt is quite small.

Welcoming friendly staff, but no door on bathroom
Staff were very helpful and friendly. I was surprised to see there was no door on Bathroom which makes it diffcult if you are sharing the room and Breakfast was over priced at 25 Euros. The staff were great and if I stayed again it would be down to the friendly staff.

The hotel is in an excellent location by the S barn and tram lines, but there wasn’t air conditioning and it was noisy outside with the window open

The hotel is very clean. Walking distance to the river. Multiple restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The only issue is no AC. It was hot at night and I felt like I couldn't breath. I had to open the window during the night. Then I had to deal with the traffic noise.

The stay was a pleasant ones except some imperfection. First the closing of hotel car should be informed before our arrival. We had a hard time reading the notice on the entrance and had to walked to the counter in the rain to check.

The hotel was within 10 minutes walking to tourist sites and the centre. We visited during a non peak time, so our room was available early. We were able to get our rooms in the morning (for a fee), which helped us adjust to this time zone for the rest of our trip. Overall happy with our stay and the hotel staff.

Great location, awesome breakfast
We really enjoyed our stay at mainhaus Stadthotel Frankfurt. The hotel is on the east side of old-town, but just a short walk from an S-bahn station. We were in town for a big show at the fairgrounds (Messe) and this was really convenient, because we could just jump on the S-bahn that takes you right into the middle of the Messe. There were dozens of restaurants nearby, and lots of things to see and do in the evenings.
The breakfasts were really great; one less thing to worry about. Really nice servers, great attention to cleanliness, and responsive staff.
I will plan to stay here whenever I come to Frankfurt.

The location is just fantastic. I could literally just walk to the Alte Brucke and get the gorgeous views of the river. Shopping district is a hop away. And the hotel breakfast is just wonderful. Wifi works great.

Great location, great room and view, exceptionally helpful staff. Only complaint was that the WiFi was very weak everywhere we went including the lobby, it was basically impossible to use. Also, the tap water was not potable and the hotel only offered very expensive bottled water so plan to bring your own (there are convenience stores nearby).

un punto a favore è sicuramente la cortesia del personale, estremamente gentile e disponibile. sembrava davvero un trattamento da hotel a 4/5 stelle per l’attenzione da parte dei receptionist.
inoltre è molto comodo per visitare francoforte:
- a 20 metri dall’hotel c’è la fermata del tram che porta direttamente in centro in 3 fermate (a piedi altrimenti è poco piu di 1 km)
- a 500 metri dall’hotel si raggiunge il lungofiume e da un ponte si riesce a vedere tutto lo skyline della città
- nel raggio di 150-200 metri dall’hotel ci sono 2 supermarket (netto e penny), oltre a diversi bar/ristoranti, soprattutto etnici.
se proprio devo trovare qualcosa di negativo, la strada su cui si affaccia l’hotel è molto rumorosa e a volte anche a finestre chiusa si sente il rumore. inoltre ci sono dei lavori in corso in tutta la zona, che probabilmente sono alla base di molti rumori e del fatto che a volte il primo giorno sia spesso saltato il wifi e la connessione dati.
