The service was very poor. The elevator weren’t working the right way two days. It was 4 o’clock the afternoon and then it make the room yet and I think for what we paid we didn’t receive what we paid.

This hotel is in a perfect location right near the Zeil and S/ U train station. The hotel team are very welcoming and knowledgeable. Breakfast is excellent and I can’t fault them. Great for business or holiday travel.

JW Marriott is a close walk to everything. We really enjoyed our time here. The staff is lovely and always willing to help. The hotel is located right next to the mall with a supermarket, which is convenient. Everything that we wanted to visit (Romer, Stadel Museum, shopping area) was all about a 15 minute walk.

Fantastic Hotel!

We stayed here twice (each time once night) while in transit between the US and other countries. The hotel is located very conveniently in the city center and we walked to dinner and did a little additional sightseeing on our brief 24 hours stays in Frankfurt. Staff was very kind and helpful. Concierge helped us book dinner reservations both evenings we were in town. We found the breakfast buffet to be full of great options for our entire family. Clean large rooms made this a great stopover. We would definitely stay here again.

Great family trip and stay!
Modern room, service was great and central location. There is a mall right next to the hotel to grab a bite or shop. Easy to get around the city.
The only con I could list is breakfast buffet was expensive. Wish they had a few ala carte options.

I was badly treaten because I reserve through EXPEDIA even being an ELITE JW member.
Personnel enter my room while I was in TWO TIMES IN TWO DAYS one during the evening and another about 9 PM while we were at bed.

There was no hot water in the hotel for the 3 days we weee there and they kept telling us things that we’re not true about its return. We switched rooms and eventually moved to the Hilton instead.

However, the 3rd set of amenities (e.g. a 3rd pair of slippers, a 3rd cup, a 3rd water glass in the bathroom, etc.) are lacking from the room although the reservation (with extra guest fee being paid for) clearly stated that 3 persons are staying in the room.

Most importantly, it is strange that the bathroom and the bedroom are only separated by a louvred door. Therefore, when a person switches on the lights in the bathroom, the bedroom will also be illuminated and other persons in the bedroom will be waken up as a result. This design is really inconvenient and uncomfortable.

Too busy at check-in. Too busy at the bar where we were trying to order food. The bar asked for our room number so we thought the bill would be charged to the room. But turns out we were asked to pay at the bar. What was the point of giving them our room number?

One room had chocolate bars on the table. Ours did not have. It is ok not to have choc but what was with the inconsistency, and ours was the upgraded room. The staff also did not give us Expedia vouchers when we checked in. We thought since they did not give, then we show the reservation to the bar. Told to get a voucher from reception. Queued again for the voucher not excellent experience for late night arrival.

One of the best hotels in Europe.

My wife and I stayed at the Marriott for one night (Deluxe room) in July 2024. This was our second stay during our six-week European trip. We stayed for two nights at the beginning of our trip, having flown into Frankfurt from Asia. We were so impressed with this hotel, we decided to stay one more night before our return flight from Frankfurt, rather than travel directly to the airport. We were very, very happy with this decision! We received an upgrade to a beautiful suite overlooking the city. The room was incredible! Beautiful, large and luxurious. In general, the hotel and the rooms are very modern, new and have everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location is also perfect, and the hotel personnel are lovely and very helpful. This will be the only place we will ever stay in Frankfurt. We were overcharged (€75) for a taxi ride from the hotel to the airport (nothing to do with the Hotel), so make sure you either agree on the charge up front, or that the taxi uses the meter. I usually follow this, but just forgot this time.

Wonderful hotel in a perfect location.

My wife and I stayed at the JW Marriott for two nights in May 2024. We absolutely loved the hotel and will always try to stay there when in Frankfurt! The hotel is wonderful; new, modern, well appointed, in a perfect location, and all the hotel personnel were friendly and very helpful. The room was fantastic, large, clean and very comfortable, with a huge bathroom. It had everything we needed, and we slept like babies in the very comfortable, king-size bed. You won’t go wrong with the JW Marriott!

We surprised when we chk out they charge us for parking , no one told us about the charge and the price . Fantastic stay !

The location of the hotel is fantastic, right in the city centre but still no noise in the hotel at all. The staff is delightful and so obliging . Nothing was too much for them. The rooms were comfortable and breakfast was outstanding. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Frankfurt.

Stay at the JW in Frankfurt

I had the pleasure of staying at JW Marriott in Frankfurt recently, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The standout feature of my stay was undeniably the exceptional staff. From the attentive valet service to the friendly bartender and the accommodating front desk team, everyone was incredibly kind and helpful, making my stay truly special.

Additionally, the hotel's location is a gem. Situated in the heart of the city, it's just a stone's throw away from a plethora of amazing restaurants, shopping districts, and must-visit tourist attractions. This central location made exploring Frankfurt a breeze, and I could easily access everything I wanted to see and do.

Visiting Christmas Markets

This hotel was amazing. We were about an hour early for check in but the room was available. The check in desk clerk, Mahamod (I know I spelled it wrong) was very kind and patient. The room was perfect for our family of three. The concierge offered directions to the Christmas Market and he offered to help with bags and /or calling a taxi whenever we passed. The bar area was nice, the waiter was excellent and my blueberry drinks were wonderful. I am very happy with my stay and would stay at this property in the future.

Great location, but not a great experience

This hotel is conveniently located to a number of Christmas markets, which is what we were predominantly interested in when visiting. There is a parking garage next door for self-parking, although a little difficult to navigate to when returning to the car. I've been a long-time Marriott member with a lot of business and personal travel, but booked through Hotels.com because it was a significantly better deal than booking direct. The hotel was very nice, but it felt as if we were being judged by the hotel staff every time we passed through the lobby. We didn't pack a lot of high-end items to just walk around in the cold all day, and it was off-putting to the point that I probably wouldn't stay again. I've stayed at JW's in the past because they're very nice, have everything you love about staying at a Marriott, and are typically in good locations. This was just a disappointing experience.

This would have been a perfect experience but unfortunately had 2 issues. First, the towels also smelled bad (like fish). Don’t know why. And second, 3 days of trying to call in room dining but never succeeded directly. Their service and food was excellent but it was frustrating trying to get someone on the phone
