Residence Inn by Marriott Frankfurt City Center is an excellent choice thanks to its outstanding central location, right in the heart of Frankfurt and close to shops, restaurants, and public transportation, making it very easy to get around the city.

The hotel really stands out for its spacious rooms, which are especially well designed for families traveling with children. The layout allows everyone to move comfortably, and the extra space makes the stay much more pleasant, particularly for longer visits.

The breakfast is good overall, with a decent selection, but it could be improved by offering more variety in egg options. During peak hours, the breakfast area can also become quite crowded, and it’s sometimes difficult to find an available table.

The location of the hotel is real good for tourists. There's a major shopping district right next to it. There are many choice of food too. Frankfurt's new old town is within walking distance, and there is an ancient defence tower sitting right across the street which is very cool!

I don’t usually write bad reviews but I had a terrible experience , starting with a dry welcome, a terrible room that was part of a garden and a dozen men drinking outside the room parting, moved to another room though smaller than my booking - terrible room —- and when asked about check out process, same receptionist asked me to leave my key in the room… and while exiting I was separated from my luggage that was stuck behind the glass of the entrance and myself outside —/ delayed from my drive as none would answer the ring !!!!! Terrible .

Not safe!

I was frightened by a male cleaning staff in the hotel while using the public female toilet on the reception floor. He sneaked in the female toilet knowing I went in. The light in the hallway was shut down too. No matter I stumped nor screamed, the light wasn’t turned on while I try to walk out of the area. I had to call the police after being frightened by him.

The second room wasnt ready at checkin time, but wasnt a problem for us.
The breakfast buffet had plenty offer, was especially happy with the glutenfree bread option. Disappointed in the hostel-style grab your tray, plate and cutlery, help yourself from the buffet, find a place to sit and put the tray back into the trolley. I expect set tables at that level.
Overall, i would go back for the close by parking garage, walking distance places and really good rooms.

The hotel is easily accessible by the S-Bahn and only 2 stops from the Frankfurt main station. The included breakfast is excellent with lots of variety and the staff keep it clean and well stocked. The location is great for walking to the old town and we had a view of a medieval tower right outside of our room. We also ate at the tower cafe and it was delicious! We would definitely stay here again if we are in Frankfurt.

Overall it served it's purpose as we were only there for one night in order to take a flight the next morning. Location was great(once we found it!). We used the Galleria and tower as reference points. Easy 15mins walk to the aldstadt and river. Near the S bahn which we used to get to the airport. The room was very dark, we were on reception level. The next time I would request a room higher up. The room is set up for self catering which is good if you're staying there for a longer time. Breakfast was a very casual affair, different. The staff were good, we had a problem with the remote control and it was resolved straight away.

This hotel is very centralized and walkable to plaza ! A big plus for us was the, COMPLIMENTARY ICE MACHINE AND WATER available at the lobby , (coffee too) 24-7. It has been very hot., forget that European don’t typically use ice nor provide water with ice . The breakfast is included and has a nice spread of assorted breads, cold cuts and aside from scrambled eggs also have boiled eggs. Note, breakfast is picked up promptly breakfast time is over. Rooms have a spacious mini fridge, make sure you buy any groceries at nearby market (REWE or ALDI) before Sunday. Sundays, the major retailer stores and grocery are CLOSED. We wanted to buy souvenirs and were limited to the ones in tourist plaza . Staff is very attentive and friendly, the lobby also offers UMBRELLA for hire/rent for 2 euros for 48 hours or so., a convenient in case you forget yours . If I’m back in Frankfurt, will stay here again. Enjoy your stay and trip.

The only thing negative I could say is our room had a slight smell that we could never figure out where it was coming from, but it wasn’t enough to bother the staff.
