The room was okay. I traveled to Frankfurt for business. Its a stylized hotel so I guess its expected if the room is a bit unconventional like my room didn't have any closet or safe and my clothes had to be hung all over the wall on a metal grid.

This was very, very basic. The branding of Moxy feels like it should be cool and modern, but I found it all a bit dated. Mattress slides on bed platform. Sheets aren’t fitted so slide off the mattress. Bathroom fans don’t work. Walls between rooms can be very thin. No kettle in room. Coffee overpriced downstairs. Co-working space filled with older business travelers, so it looks kind of silly having all the young faux artsy decor. I’d choose somewhere else next time.

Room was dusty, which made the beds itchy. Amenities in the rooms are toilet, shower, tv. No kettle etc. Breakfast we avoided since it didnt seem worth the money. Location was really good, right on the edge of the center of town. But they decided to take my card details from me paying city tax on their chip & pin machine and tried to charge me €200 after my stay...no email why, nothing from Moxxy! Which is incredibly poor for being part of the Marriot family. If you expect any reply from this hotel don't waste your time, they'll ignore any communications which you send. Overall AVOID!!!!!!

Location was fantastic. Note these rooms are barebones and the mattress was hard and we were only given one tiny pillow. Also the outlets jn the bathroom didn’t work and the air wouldn’t come on at all during our stay so it was super hot in our room. Room was pretty cheap but we were charged $30 euros to check in early.

This Moxy is extremely noisy and staff does not make ANY attempts to keep it quiet. Every night some guests are gathering in the inner yard of the hotel and laugh, yell, smoke. When I asked a reception if there was any curfew or time limits for party, they stated it was 11pm. However, people were partying until 1am and far beyond this time, say 3:30 am. It looks like reception staff was afraid to interfere and keep rules of quietness up. Several people every note have been torturing others guests by interrupting their sleeping and relaxation. In my numerous hotels staying, it’s first time ever I experienced such a disrespect to the guests

The room very modern, clean and spacious. My one suggestion would be some kind of air circulation in the bathroom as the steam from the shower condensed on the ceiling and then driped down on you for quite a long time. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay, the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel is ideally located and is within walking distance to the old town as well as the banking distrit, there was no need for transportation other than walking to any of the sights we wanted to see.

Depressing room

I was admitted in a room designed for wheelchair access. I told the reception and he said he is not sure about that (which means he did not even believe me!!) and never did anything about it. The room was small and dark, very depressing. No shower as it is designed with people with disabilities and the view was a wall. I was a bit disappointed with the experience. The location of the hotel is amazing that is the best part about the experience.

This is not the first time I stay at a Moxy Hotel . All my experiences with it have been great but this was the best one so far. :) The staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant. A special shout out to João Pedro. What a kind, fun and helpful guy.

If you are looking for a place to stay at a great location and relaxing atmosphere, do not look any further... Moxy Hotel Frankfurt City Center is the place for you.

Very basic rooms, but a good value especially if you are a solo traveler. Great location! Very walkable to all shopping in downtown Frankfurt and the Hauptwache train station. The main downfall was two of their 3 elevators were out of service during my stay. This made for long waits for the one remaining elevator.

Friday and Saturday nights when we stayed was a mass gathering place outside for drunk teenagers. Shouting and screaming teens staggering about drinking and smoking.
Lifts where an issue also during our stay. 1 of 3 lifts working. Rooms are odd. The exposed concrete maybe a trend that some people like. Bar area is nice and staff are very friendly. Bit like a Citizen M copy, but not as good.

Area immediately outside hotel is a bit of a hang out area for people. It wasn’t terrible but groups of teenagers and smoking.
But biggest disappointment was when room maid just walked into our room - knowing we had just got back. No door knock. Not good.

The best staff, front desk support was fabulous! Went out of the way to help us with directions, ideas. Had a suitcase emergency and they provided gorilla tape to close and secure my broken suitcase. Perfect walking location.

I like the lobby set up of the hotel with open seating. I suggest that the hotel offer 24/7 coffee service since this is just from the machine. We were disappointed that we couldn't have a cupd of coffee or tea before retiring for the night.

We liked the uniqueness of the reception and dining area and the relaxed atmosphere.

Nice hotel about as central as you can get, surprisingly quiet for the area. Basic rooms but everything you need, spotlessly clean sparkly bathroom. If getting the train from the airport try to have exit the station from the direction of the front of the train

This Moxy is like all others, funky with fun options in the lobby like games & interesting seating. The 24 hour bar is great for getting a glass full of ice to enjoy a cider or cold water in your room.
My only issue with this location was that they no longer had the ability to provide air conditioning, because they don’t think people want it mid October. I had a terrible time sleeping in a stuffy room.

Clean and comfortable

This hotel was perfect for me and a friend for a one night stay in Frankfurt. It is centrally located to mass transit and easy to get to the airport by train or uber.
The room is really small, but we didn’t need much for the one night. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable.
The staff downstairs at reception were great and when I called for more pillows they arrived quite quick.
I love the 24hr bar downstairs in case you get in late or get up early and want to grab a drink or coffee.

Great lobby, basic room

Pros:
Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful.
Underground parking is easy with limited spaces, but appreciate the opportunity to get a discount.
Accessible room had lots of room for the wheelchair to manoeuvre.
Free WiFi works well.
Central location (close to mall).
Good price for 1 night.

Cons:
Lights in bathroom were broken as was the sink plug.
No simple amenities such as a kettle, wardrobe, coffee, etc.
Room looks unfinished and basic compared to pictures online.

Overall the hotel lobby aesthetic is great, the staff are great but the rooms are very basic and although the cost is fair, compared to our stay in Cologne with another hotel, it was the same price and we got more for our money. Wouldn't personally choose a Moxy again.

Great location and per the Moxy brand a super contemporary hotel. It was clean and within walking distance of all the major sites. We landed from the USA early in the morning and the staff was so awesome and got us into our room by 10:00AM. I would highly recommend!

Perfect stay! Central location to explore the city (everything walkable). Super nice lobby/bar area with terrace. Very nice staff. Soundproof rooms. Loved the mix between funky atmosphere/decor and comfort. Also great buffet breakfast. Just not big fan of the concept of reception at the bar, even if the staff manages perfectly the level of service and involvment on both sides, and thanks again to them for this extra mile approach!
