I have been traveling through Europe for two weeks and Frankfurt is my last stop. This hotel provided the worth service. There are plenty of hotels in this area so save yourself the frustration.
The hotel itself was fine, but the check-in process was extremely poor and set a negative tone for our stay. The clerk appeared distracted and rushed, handling the process with a noticeable lack of care.
First, after processing my documents, he handed back the room key and passport so carelessly that the room key fell to the floor. Furthermore, the room number was not initially written on the key card sleeve. When I asked the clerk for the room number, he was preoccupied with a conversation with a colleague and gave me a mumbled, unclear verbal number (\"forty-one thirty something\"). This was confusing as the hotel only has three-digit room numbers, and I had to figure out the correct number myself.
A professional, welcoming check-in is the first impression a hotel makes, and in this case, it was disorganized and frustrating. Training on basic guest service and attention to detail is clearly needed.

The location is the best. I've stayed here a dozen times over the past 10 years. It's now falling apart. Carpet is stained in the hallways and the room, my shower drain was clogged and over flowed onto the bathroom floor and the room carpet. The ironing board fell apart the instant I picked it up. The mini bar that use to be great is unplugged and empty. The towels are very old and threadbare. They had one elevator in operation for 8 floors. Is that enough. I felt sad. I loved this place. And on top of all this there is an amazing amount of construction all around the hotel so all I hear is very loud construction noise starting at 7:30 in the morning and it's still pounding when I return from work at 5 pm.

The hotel was in a great location, close to the train station, the mall and lots of dining options. Room was very spacious, very clean, comfortable bed.
The room I had though was facing another building so I did not have a view and it was a little dark, I also stayed during the weekend so on the Saturday night it was very loud due to the bar downstairs - hard to sleep if you are a light sleeper. Other than that had a great stay!

This is one of the worst hotels I’ve stayed in in my life. I understand that European tourism is more conservative but this hotel is lacking in all areas aside from location. There are other hotels to stay at. The rooms are extremely depression, they don’t cater to tourists, there is no water in the room, nothing on the walls and it resembles a prison cell. Overpriced for what it is and staff are extremely unfriendly

We stayed here a few years and the place and staff was amazing. We scheduled transportation from the airport and no one was there to pick us up. Eventually, I found out what happened and the hotel never gave the company our information or number to get in touch with us. Then our rooms had no phones but we were told that the phones would be worked on and then I was told again that the hotel is not going to have phones anymore. The AC was not working in our rooms. Overall the experience and talking to the staff was not good. They told me to write the office to complain. I honestly think it’s ridiculous to not have phones in the room so that you can call if you need anything you have to go to the reception desk they give you one bottle of water for two people. I was highly disappointed. Love the location the rooms are dated but very big. This hotel has a lot of potential maybe under the wrong management right now not sure take the rugs out the rooms so they would look levitated in the lot cleaner and make sure the rooms have phones so that if someone needs something they do not have to walk down to the reception desk.

The Fleming Hotel is beautiful and the staff were great. One thing to be aware of is that parking at the hotel is limited and you are unable to reserve in advance. We were directed to a parking garage a few blocks from the hotel that charged $40 per night. This would have good to know in advance and would have influenced our hotel selection.

The hotel is as nice and location good. The check in staff were lovely and helpful. Unfortunately the ac wasn’t working so it was very hot (we weren’t told this until we asked) so had to sleep with windows open which is incredibly noisy not to mention when the bins get emptied early in the am!! Also the carpet looks very tired and dirty. Definitely wouldn’t walk barefoot. The gym could go with an upgrade too although it was quiet and fine for a short stay.

Worth boʻking more than once

I love German style windows, how they open 2 ways. Many hotel.windows dont open, so this was a treat. Flemings is an easy walk from anywhere in Frankfurt's downtown and the waterfront. Its about 45€ from the airport, by taxi. Staff was professional and courteous. Early checkin was allowed for a fee. Room was immaculate and quiet- bright too, in the day.

I was Traveling with my wife and a teenage boy, I purposely booked two connecting rooms for Seven nights to give us some privacy and yet can spend time together, After checking in everything looks great But one of the room the air conditioner does not work at staff was very nice bringing a portable air conditioner, but the noise was unbearable and barely works, they gave me another room, which is not connected on the same floor, that mean is one of us has to stay at the room with my teenage boy very inconvenient, I asked if they ever fixed the air conditioner please move me back to the connecting room, I didn’t hear anything for seven days, staff was nice place was clean location very convenient, but I had a terrible experience.

I stayed there for 4 nits and here is the detailed overview;
Location wise; you can’t complain, the hotel is just a minute walking distance from everything; shopping, ATM, restaurants, undergrounds, taxi slots, simply prime location.
Dining options; they have a fabulous restaurant and roof bar on the 7th floor overlooking Frankfurt, good food, good service and excellent view. Another restaurant at the lobby level also serves proper dinner and you can sit indoor or outdoor.
Staff; Jang is my hero .. this gentleman works at the front office and he will do whatever it takes to make you feel comfortable and happy during your stay .. he has answers and solutions to all your questions, really he is a great asset to the hotel.
The only negative issue I had during my stay was related to the AC at the room, it was hot and AC is not cooling properly, had to open my window to get some fresh air but this comes with too much noise from the street .. u better check AC immediately after check in.

Unfortunately this was not a pleasant stay, we stayed for two nights. The bed is extremely uncomfortable, our room looked out over the reception and conference room where there was loud noise most of the time. The shower is literally open in the middle of the room and if the curtain is the slightest bit open people from the conference room can see in. Very small and overall hugely disappointing compared to photos.

The whole experience at Flemings Selection Hotel was incredible. The staff was accomodating all our requests. Such a friendly staff at the Front Desk who made us feel very welcomed. Special thanks to Soreya!!! Rooms were very clean, also liked the Fitness center and sauna with the complimentary snacks, fruits and water bottles. We will definitely come back if we ever come back to Germany. I would probably correct your website where it mentions free airport shuttles.

Nice hotel with an old paternoster elevator in the lobby. My room (121) was right above the goods entrance for the hotel which meant that sleeping beyond 6am was not possible. If you rise early, ask for this room specifically because you won't need to set your alarm.

Great Stay & Location; The Paternoster is Awesome!

Very nice hotel in a great location, within walking distance of the Aldstadt, and many bars and restaurants. Riding the paternoster was definitely the highlight, although they only run it at certain times a day (we had asked when we arrived just before dinner and they turned it on). The rooms were very comfy and well stocked with a nespresso machine, minibar (about €3 per drink), and free bottle of water.

Overall good, some things to know

Foyer and restaurant were beautiful, excellent buffet breakfast. Spa was very small and in basement of the hotel, we didn’t use it after seeing it. Note- amenities say that there is free shuttle to train station- this is wrong, no shuttles available. Gym is okay, very small and also in basement. Room was good other than a stained carpet. Note that showers offer no privacy as they are part of the bedroom. Restaraunt staff were very friendly and great at remembering guests. They charged us for minibar use even though we didn’t take anything. Overall good but not excellent

Having stayed at the Schwabing Fleming's Hotel in Munich, I knew that the Frankfurt Selection Hotel would meet my standards for a good hotel. The Fleming's Selection was a delight from my first moment. After a long day of travel, I was welcomed warmly by Joseph at curbside. He is the employee every hospitality company wants to hire. At the reception desk, Mr. Seah Yeah Jang was the complete professional and my registration was completed efficiently. It is clear that General Manager Razvan Kefer has assembled a staff that meets his high standards and guarantees customer satisfaction. The breakfasts were superb and the dining staff more than accommodating each of the 5 days I was there. There was a beautiful selection of fresh fruits along with anything a patron might want to start his day. On my next visit to Frankfurt I plan on staying there again.

We stayed here for 10 nights it was nice and clean but our refrigerator didn’t work and I put in a request to have it fixed and it didn’t get fixed. Also, be aware that if you get a room with a king bed the shower is in the middle of the room with glass doors. It’s a good location close to shopping and restaurants.
