Fabulous room spotlessly clean, great location helpful friendly staff. Great we could leave our bags there after checkout before leaving for the airport. WiFi and door card didn’t work initially making check in a little more of a hassle but really a very minor issue as staff were very helpful and sorted it pretty quick. Would highly recommend

I've stayed in this hotel multiple times in the past but this time I was really disappointed with my room. When I entered the room first, the floor was dirty. Dust everywhere and small broken glass on the floors. Thanks God I didn't stepp on it. Second, the bed mattress was hard as hell. Probably the worst bed ever slept on. Every night, I had to lay pillows on top of the mattress for a little softness. Unfortunately, I dealt with it and didn't complain to the management because I know that they can do better.
Despite all, I would still 100% recommend this hotel to anyone. Location is on spot for everything you want to experience in Frankfurt. The staff are truly great. The rooms are spacious...Just work on cleanness and bed comfort...

Location by the Main was very good, easy walking to many attractions incliding the 'New Old Town. Room facilities are very good with aircon, convection heating, and well equipped kitchenette. Double glazing and blackout curtains made our stay quiet and comfortable for a couple. Service and staff were excellent. All requests were met willingly and promptly. Buffet breakfast had plenty of options plus personalised choices, cooked fresh. Onsite restaurant also very good with well presented genuine Italian cuisine at fair prices. We highly recommend The Flag Oscar M and would happily stay again when visiting Frankfurt.

While I only stayed here for one night, these mini apartments would be excellent for a long-term stay too. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was quiet. The kitchen is fully equipped. Key for me is always the hairdryer, which was excellent!

I didn’t check in until midnight because our train into Frankfurt was late, but we were quickly met by security and given our room key. In the morning, the two women at the front desk were super friendly and gave me great suggestions for walking into old town, along with some café suggestions.

I would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at The Flag Oskar, for 3 nights, June 22-24 as part of a 3-city tour for Euros 2024. The studio was very spacious, with a bed divided by a partition, tons of storage, living room, small kitchen table and 2 chairs, kitchen with necessities including good size fridge and walk in shower bathroom. We had a balcony with a partial river view (nice corner room 207). You could control the temp as you like too. Bed was comfortable. We opted to get the breakfast at the attached restaurant for ease and it was buffet style and you could get eggs cooked fresh (scrambled, fried or omelet) and had good cappuccino. There is also an outdoor patio with tables and chairs at the restaurant and they had a TV to watch the Euro games. The food was Italian and delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was about a 15 minute walk to the Euro Fan Zone which was great. The old town is close by (again 15 min walk) where there are lots of restaurants and cafes, shopping and great architecture. It is close to the area to catch a short river cruise (50 and 100 min). I would highly recommend.

I stayed there for 4 nights, overpaying due \"high demand\" .. room was cleaned every 3 days. Initially I wanted to cancel my booking and offered them to pay only the first night, they refused and had to stay there. Then I required a 5th night, and payed in Expedia, i didnt want to pack-unpack again, anyways they made me change of room with early check up late check in..... this dispite their over rate per night. Never will stay there again nor recommend

Worst check in ever!!!

The worst experience with check in I ever had. And I do travel a lot and I do book hotels for my artists around the world!
We came at 9 AM on June 9th 2024 and asked for early check in. We were told that hotel is fully booked. We said that we are ready to pay for an extra night so that we can check in to any rooms available, just to be able to go to sleep as we had an early morning flight and did not sleep almost all night. The gentleman at the front desk told us that as soon as he will have anything available he will let us know. Long story make it short. We have been waiting until 3 PM!!! So he did not check us in until OUR room was ready! So the check out is 11 AM. And until 3 PM none of the rooms where ready???!!! This is ridiculous! I came with my mother to Frankfurt in order to have a surgery for her and she needed to have a good rest before! And that is what she got instead. We have been sitting in the restaurant inside the hotel from 9 AM till 3 PM! By the way the restaurant is highly recommended! Great food and nice staff 👌

Our room is more like a studio apartment than a traditional hotel room. It’s great to have all the convenience of a home even for a short 3 days stay. Breakfast was served at the restaurant on the ground floor with more than adequate selections plus the option of eggs prepared to our liking. The location has a lot to offer with just a short walk to the city center with all the attractions and the U4/U5 metro station. We will stay here in our future trips to Frankfurt for sure.

Very modern, clean, and the staff couldn’t be more friendly, polite and helpful. Our only complaint was the lord music from another room and from cars in the street were very loud until 4am. The hotel has impressive soundproof doors and windows but still could hear boom boom boom all night long. Very convenient location and price. Would stay there again, just bring ear plugs.

What a disappointment this place has been. I had high hopes because of the excellent reviews and I paid for a premium room with a view. In reality the room was mediocre at best. The room was never cleaned while I stayed (i was told one had stay more than 2 days). There was garbage in front of my room. What a scam of a disgusting hotel. Avoid it if you can!

This property is in a great location, has a great view of the river. The concierge staff were so attentive, helpful and friendly. The room is spacious, clean and has great amenities, including a kitchen. The bed was fine for us but if you do not think a standard double is big enough for you, then this may be the only issue. Restaurant on property will sell you a bottle of wine or beer to take to your room, nice touch as you can not purchase alcohol in stores on a Sunday.

Great size room, very close to downtown Frankfurt. Excellent service from reception, very personable.

Breakfast was delivered because of COVID and it was pretty basic. The WIFI was patchy at best and not good enough for regular video calls.

Just book it.

I could write paragraphs about how wonderful your stay will be here. This place is excellent. The hotel is 2 minutes walk from a really good grocery store which is perfect to stock your fridge. The rooms are so spacious especially if you pay for the river view. The location is perfect, it is 15 minutes walk from everywhere you would want to go to the city center.

This hotel is hands down the best place to be in Frankfurt. Awesome view of the river and for corner apts the skyline too. It has it's own kitchen to limit interaction with restaurants. Add AC and good internet and all you need is some good company. Everything is in walkable distance and with an e-scooter you can run down the river side and be anywhere you want in 5 minutes. I've been coming to this hotel for 2 years, staying months at a time and not even thinking about changing.

Everything about The Flag Oskar was great. They replied to my messages quickly, location was perfect, employees were friendly, room was big and clean. Also there is a grocery market right across the street. We would definitely stay here again whenever back in Frankfurt but with a river view room.

Really loved this hotel! The room looking out at the river was gorgeous, there was netflix, a well-stocked kitchen, and it's right across from a grocery store and fitness studio. The air conditioning is good but has an autooff timer which makes it quite warm at night.

Excellent place to stay because of location. We walked everywhere and when it rained it was a 10 min Uber ride from Zeil. The wifi was not the best but they said they were working on it. They don't pay for the higher cable package so all the TV channels are in German except for CNN and the wifi was not strong enough to connect to Netflix.

I’m not sure why this is a vip property ? It was fustrating that we found ourselves very under the weather and in need of water in the evening after the Aldi was closed . There was no place to buy water or any sort of liquids on property :(. There is a bar/restaurant but it closed quite early.. They advertise a king bed but it is 2 twins pushed together which was I buy fustrating and uncomfortable for 2 people . If you end up in a room on the first floor facing the road it’s very noisy .

Wonderful room for our time in Berlin, and you can see why they rent out on a short term basis as well, with a the spacious, modern suites.

Had a very unfortunate incident where the front desk gave another guest access to our room and my wife and I had someone enter our room just before midnight. There should be safeguards in the building's booking system so this CANNOT happen, as it affected our comfort levels and ability to feel secure in the room.

Newly design and Modern apartment in heart of Frankfurt. Good location to walk alongside river and downtown. Safe garage Parking for 20 euro. Full marks to location But there are some problems during our stay. It was hot outside and AC was not working in room. It was out of service. We opened window but then it was so noisy even late night. Bed was not enough big for two people but sofa bed was good alternative choice. No ventilation in bathroom & Kitchen. If you cook something you need to keep open window. There were no spoon/folk and other necessary kitchen items provided. You have to bring own cooking oil, salt, suger etc. Most complicated thing was microwave. It took hour to understand its function. You have to throw your garbage outside at container. Its sad how beatuful apartment built but how badly they managed the things. Hotel should pay some attention on customer comfort

Unterkunft sauber und nett eingerichtet. Klimaanlage funktionierte leider nicht richtig, dass man ein neues Zimmer bekommen hat. Frühstück war lecker aber keine so breite Auswahl.. für Frühstücksliebhaber also zu schlicht. :-) Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt lohnt es sich aber alle mal!

Vor allem für die Familie mit Kindern da das hotel hat eine kleine Küche im Zimmer.
Liegt sehr nah am Zentrum.

Sehr geräumiges und sauberes Zimmer, Frühstück gab es auf dem Zimmer aufgrund von Corona und hat sehr gut funktioniert. In die Innenstadt braucht man ca. 20 min zu Fuß am Main entlang.
