There were no tea bags in the room and when we asked the hotel to provide they wanted to charge us for this. Providing tea and coffee in the rooms is basic for every hotel and it was quite shocking that the hotel did not want to provide tea bags. They must realise that everyone doesn’t drink coffee and some people would like to have tea in their rooms.

Lovely hotel in Wurzburg
We had a lovely stay in the Hotel Melchior Park, Würzburg. It’s a little way out of the historic centre but right on a good bus route (very cheap and direct service to the centre). Hotel was immaculately clean, very quiet and all the staff we met were very friendly and efficient. Our room had a full balcony and overlooked the ‘natural’ outdoor pool. We’d definitely stay here again if we went back to Wurzburg.

The dinner in the hotel’s restaurant was amazing. Highly recommended.
On check-out we noticed that we had been charged with breakfast we did not asked for and we had been also charged for decoration in the room we did not know about. These extra charges were refunded upon mentioning them.

It’s in the middle of a park and the facility is beautiful.

The room was supposed to be air-conditioned. According to the thermostat adjustable to 18 degrees c. Our room stayed at 24 degrees Celsius even after speaking with the person at the front desk. Apon arrival we were ask to wait as the room was not ready and we were 40 minutes early. The blond receptionist was somewhat rude and ask that we wait,which we did in the waiting area beside the receptiondesk. After 55 minutes and the entire team having seen us the entire time we again went to the desk and ask about the room. The room was then ready and therefore we werre late for a birthday party. The large of the guests fir this party was book at the hotel and the guest so honor was well known by the staff as they are preferred guests at the hotel. The staff also knew that we were part of this avent. Onecstaff member did offer us a gratuitous coffee for which there was no time. The nice young man at checkout was infirmed and did comp the 14 € for parking.

We had a wonderful checking thanks to Lena, who speaks perfect American English, she gave us valuable tips for our visit to Würzburg and even made for us a dinner reservation at the Alte Mainmuhle restaurant, thank you Lena!

This was a wonderful hotel. It was clean, located right in front of the bus station, and the staff was nice, polite, and helpful. They even lent me a hotel umbrella. Really high class place - newly built and right next to the Bavarian Landesgartenshau which runs until Oct 2018. We had a standard room which was an OK size with great bathroom and free mini bar, but no coffee and tea making facilities (opportunity for improvement).
The fitness room was fine too, not over-equipped but just enough with latest curved treadmill. Pool is 10m but well done with nice garden terrace to sun yourself in the afternoons. Excellent Sauna and Steam rooms (all free).

Brand new hotel adjacent to Landesgartenschau and with good facilities; bus stop practically outside the hotel, but it is also possible to walk into town in 30 minutes. Hubland University campus close by; we enjoyed the view of the whole town from the campus and watched the Kiliani fireworks.

My family and I really enjoyed staying here during our trip to Wurzburg. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing and loved the indoor pool. Close to public transportation so getting to the sights was super easy. A must place to stay.

The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the refrigerator is stocked with products included with your room rate, they replenish them daily, and the hotel has plenty of parking at reasonable rates.

Excellent Hotel outside the old town area. I had a car so I needed easy parking. The old town is just a short drive away. The room was large and very comfortable, modern and clean. I did see a bus stop in front of the hotel. Excellent value for the money. A gem of a hotel.

Relaxing stay a short taxi ride away from it all
This was our first time in Wuerzburg and at Melchior Park Hotel. The Executive room was spacious, beautifully furnished and with a nice terrace. Did not get to use the spa nor the breakfast, but will definitely return. Only downside for a non-smoker is that the smoking spot is right outside the main door and next to the terrace.

Das Hotel ist neu, modern, schöne große Zimmer. Alles vorhanden, was man für einen Standardaufenthalt benötigt. Check- in war nicht zufriedenstellend, da nur eine (nette) junge Dame wohl technische Probleme mit der Registrierung hatte. Es hat sich eine Schlange von 3, 4 Personen gebildet und darauf wurde durch das back office sehr spät reagierg.

Schade, dass man trotz der augenscheinlich sehr geringen Hotelauslastung nur einen Zimmer zu einer Art Innenhof bekommt, welches dann auch entsprechend weniger Tageslicht hat.

Super hotel. Piscine sympa et espace sauna egalement. Petit déjeuner très copieux et salle de restauration très bien décorée.
Du thé à disposition dans l espace sauna et dans les chambres seraient un plus.
Pour le parking, assez cher pour une ville de cette taille, il y a moyen de se garer gratuitement dans les rues avoisinantes.

Tolles modernes Hotel direkt neben der Uni, ausserhalb der Stadt, jedoch zu Fuss in ca. 15 Minuten im Zentrum.

Unser Executive-Zimmer war an sich schön, aber in Sachen Sauberkeit und vor allem beim Service waren wir enttäuscht.
Auf dem Sofa im Zimmer waren viele blonde lange Haare einer vorherigen Bewohnerin. Beim Auschecken habe ich darauf hingewiesen. Keine Entschuldigung, sondern: \"Da ist die Hausreinigung schuld\".
Wenn man an der Uni zu tun hat, ist die Lage OK. Wenn man in die Stadt will, geht das nur mit Auto oder Taxi.
Wir waren am Sonntag in dem Hotel und wollten abends Essen, aber das Restaurant war zu. Es wäre gut, wenn beim Check-In darauf hingewiesen wird. Das alternative Angebot an Restaurants in der Nähe ist sehr beschränkt.
Beim Check-In haben wir in der Lobby die Kaffeeautomaten gesehen, die da offensichtlich für die Gäste aufgestellt sind und haben uns zwei Cappuccinos geholt. Die Rezeptionistin hat das notiert und wir hatten beim Check-Out 9 Euro dafür auf der Rechnung. Der vermeidlich freundliche Self-Service entpuppt sich als recht teurer Kaffee.
Wir hatten auf den Hotelparkplatz geparkt (kamen mit zwei Autos) und Parkscheine gezogen. Das Zimmer war sauber und für mich als Alleinreisende ausreichend groß. Das Badezimmer war modern, schön und sauber, die Lüftung hat nur leider nicht funktioniert. Die Handtücher wurden täglich gewechselt.
Der Boden im Saunabereich ist leider sehr rutschig und ich habe niemanden entdecken können, der sich dafür zuständig fühlte, den Boden hin und wieder abzuziehen. Das Abendessen war ok, Frühstück habe ich nicht in Anspruch genommen.

Schönes Hotel, sehr ruhige Lage. Eine Busverbindung vor dem Hotel, fährt aber Samstags nur bis 22 Uhr. Kleines Einksufszentrum zu Fuss 10-15 min entfernt (Aldi,…).
