Room was so dirty. Pull out couch had some kind of stain down the front, looked like maybe vomit? The baseboards were peeling from the walls with the walls disintegrating behind them. Of all the nicer places we stayed on our way to Florida, this was the most expensive and the worst condition. Do not recommend!

When we first arrived (8pm) there was a sign on the door saying that the staff was out and would be back soon. We waited about 10 mins and finally 2 workers showed up. One was VERY friendly and helpful, she asked the other coworker to register the keys for our room and the coworker straight out said \"No. I'm not clocked in yet\" with a very 'don't bother me now' tone in her voice.
Getting to the room - The walls were very dirty. The shower had stains all over it. The bathroom door has been torn apart at the bottom (I have pictures of everything). Also when I tried to plug in my phone charger, found out that out of 4 outlets in the room, only 1 plug was available and it wasn't very accessable... Very inconvenient.

When we pulled up to our room, there were four cars running with people sitting inside of them smoking weed. They sat and watched us take our possessions into our room making me feel unsafe. The room next door had their garbage can outside overflowing with trash. I was afraid to leave for dinner as they may break into our room.

After we arrived there was a man walking through the parking lot trying to open the doors of vehicles. I tried to call the front desk to let them know, but no one answered.

Their door to the room locked but the bolt on top was broken. Overall, this was not a safe environment to stay and I would not recommend.

This was our evacuation hotel, 3 adults, one infant and 2 dogs. The rooms were old, but well kept and clean. Beds were comfortable. Because of all the evacuated, the continental breakfast was minimal. Staff was super freindly and helpful. Overall a good stay, just older facility with older appliances and amenities.

Was somewhat better than the other hotel we booked thru site that was next door that was uninhabitable. Didn't find live bugs and the floors were at least mopped. Towels were clean and fresh. Beds were hard. The grounds were well kept. Breakfast was disappointing. Disappointing hotels.com would even offer both of those hotels. I only have photos of the 1st hotel so I'll not add to this survey.

Nasty unclean room!

Friendly staff. Walked into our room and found a cockroach on the floor. Found an empty bag laying on the floor by the bed. Walked around the room and the bottoms of my feet were nasty black. While gathering my stuff this morning I found a dirty pair of socks under the table next to the bed. All around it was a very unclean room! Spoke to the front desk when I checked out and was told that she would speak to the manager about it because they have been having issues with the house keeper.

The property and room were clean. The bed was a little more firm than we like but was not terrible. The only real let down was the noise from the interstate. All hours of the night we heard emergency vehicles and the traffic from the interstate. We would stay again if needed but would definitely ask for a room far far far away from the interstate.

We were not informed that there was a cash only deposit. We were told we would be given a refund the next morning at check out. At 7:30am upon checkout I was told that they couldn’t “check the room” and there would be a bit of a wait. What? Seriously? I paid with a credit card that they said they do not keep on file and that was why they required cash. Never heard of anything like this! She expected us to wait until 9 when housekeeping could “count the pillows, sheets, towels” etc. This was completely unacceptable. It was not our problem that the place was understaffed. Ultimately, we were given our deposit back, but I had to be very firm with the front desk person that the hotels lack of capability to accommodate its guest was not my problem and that I would not be delaying my trip an hour and a half at minimum to check out. We wiill not be staying here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

The hotel was very old. Door was a bit rotted on bottom corner. There was a room which appeared occupied but the door remained open almost entire night. Another person was sleeping in their car just down from ours. The hotel seemed clean and safe, but not entirely sure.

It was gross. We got in at 12:30 am exhausted and as soon as wintered the room it smelled nasty. From the moment I shut the door which looked like it had never been cleaned before. The bathroom had two shower chairs in it and a leftover coffee table in it. I never am fond of a coffee maker in the bathroom and yet there it was. I was afraid to sleep under the covers but knew I couldn’t sleep on the comforter. So I did sleep on the sheets reluctantly. It’s a good thing we were out of there by 6 am the next morning. I would not ever return to this place, its a good thing I won’t be in that area again. Yuck!

The location was perfect for touring the historic district! The room was spacious and clean, too. We walked all over. The breakfast at a cafe called Sunday was very good and about 5 minutes away. Pizza from next door was delicious! I'd book this hotel again if ever in St. Augustine again!!

I booked through expedia with a credit card as i always do. At check in i was told that i needed to leave a $100 dollar CASH deposit to cover any damage that may occur and that i would get my cash back at check out and after 7 am when the office opened again. I have NEVER needed to leave a CASH deposit anywhere else ever. I dont mind a temporary credit card charge that gets refunded automatically but to have to return after 7 am to get my cash back is ridiculous. I do late night construction work all over florida and we typically check out about 2-3 am and do not return to the hotel !!! This CASH deposit is a HUGE inconvenience to me and i will NEVER return to this particular hotel !!!

Bed of pain! We stayed in room 142. Not sure why we were assigned to a handicap accessible room. The bed was like a board. Truly the most uncomfortable night I have ever spent. I would caution anyone with physical issues to avoid this location. We paid $80 after tax to stay in this motel. The appearance from the outside isn't bad, but the room we were given was disgusting. The blankets and sheets on the bed spots all over them where they didn't look like they had been washed. There was black specks of dirt all over most of the pillows. The bathroom floors and shower were filthy. It didn't look like anyone had mopped in quite some time. It appeared that poop was smeared on the bathroom walls. When we turned the TV on it was on a sex toy selling channel. Kt was very loud being right next to the freeway. The bed was very uncomfortable. To top it all off, when we booked hotels.com said that there was a complimentary breakfast here, but hotel staff said that was no longer offered. I still can't believe I paid $80 for this room. When I complained to staff I wasn't offered even a discount. Don't waste your money!

Despite Expedia’s bait and switch advertising, the property manager was able to assist me and make things right. The staff was wonderful and the room was clean and updated. This hotel took complete advantage of a medical condition of one of the people in our travel party. We booked a non smoking room and when we got there the hotel staff had to move us to a suite because there were no non smoking rooms left. Then they charged us for the room upgrade, which I assure you was no upgrade. They completely took advantage of the fact that we could not stay in a smoking room due to severe asthma and allergies. We were traveling with a high school sports team so we had to stay at that hotel. We had no choice but to pay for the room in spite of the up charge. It is just sad to see people take advantage of people with a medical condition and profit from it.
