Staff were friendly and helpful. It is the only hotel with an indoor pool, but the area was dirty and cluttered. The rooms were fairly clean but the finishings (i.e. tile flooring in bathroom) were poorly installed. Shelves where the safe is located were broken/sagging. The breakfast was ok, but again cleanliness brought concern. The syrup was “glued” to the tray it was sitting on.

We do enjoy staying here and plan to continue doing so. We are only sharing this feedback to highlight a few areas that could be easily improved.

When we arrived, there was a noticeable amount of dog food spilled in the upstairs hallway, as well as a significant amount of dog hair on the stair landing near the kids’ floor. Additionally, the exterior door at the bottom is consistently propped open with a rock, which raises security concerns.

During our stay this past weekend, we also noticed a Zyn packet stuck to the ceiling above our bed. It may be helpful for cleaning staff to periodically check ceilings as well, given that guests sometimes leave behind unexpected items. While this is likely the result of prior guests’ behavior, the condition of the room upon arrival still reflects on overall cleanliness standards.

The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was good. The water was hot. The hot tub was working well, but felt like it needed paint. The furniture was worn. The rooms need repair. Beds were ok. The safety bar lock has been kicked in & not repaired where you feel secure. Fortunately it was a safe area. The property really needs to be updated. For the price it was an ok experience.

Last minute stay. Receptionist pretty rough but pleasant. Carpet had a moldy smell to it. No elevator. Breakfast decent. Hot shower amazing with lots if pressure. Bed sheets clean and comfortable. No bugs.

I wasn’t sure what to expect, I was not disappointed. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and then was no smoke residue. The Thermopolis Quality Inn was nothing short of wonderful. The hotel is pretty friendly and people friendly. Preston and Carl were the two front people We met/spoke to and they were very curtious, friendly, and a font of knowledge. The entire staff were just so nice and friendly and made us feel very welcomed.

We came on a reconnaissance mission and left successful.

Thermopolis is a quaint little town.
The hotel is on the edge of town which is no big deal as it only takes about 10 minutes to drive through the entire town
We liked the how clean and spacious the rooms were.
I would definitely stay there when we return in.

The rooms were large, I made the mistake of booking the smoking room…since I used this app they said it chooses that option…who still smokes?!? 😕
We did get to move rooms thank goodness, but all our stuff smelled. Breakfast was subpar….staff was very kind and accommodating.

Clean and comfortable, but finding staff must be a real challenge. The three gentlemen I encountered were well past or near retirement age but all very kind and willing to help. I just put that out there as a reminder to those travelers who might want to be a bit short with slow service here. And we visited just a week before the rodeo and real tourist season started.

Light everywhere but over bathroom sink was great! Beds were clean and carpet did not make my feet black when walking barefoot. Slow water pressure and draining in sink and tub. Had to call for help with other toilet flush. Maids VERY noisy in the mornings, worse than the racket made by guests about 1:40 am. Check in
S L O W, but staff were nice, just very very slow.
It was very low standard for a Wualit Inn, and in desperate need of a facelift!
Will not stay again.

Well i wasnt expecting anything great. But it would of been nice if the carpet in the room had been vacuumed and cleaned better. Now i will say our second room was alittle cleaner than the room we first got. At least the trash had been taken out and the sink was clean. Also we could hear rodents scratching behibd the wall while we were sleeping. But it was only one night and the bed was comfortable

The staff at the Quality Inn were amazing. They went above and beyond to make our stay the best. They were friendly, competent, and all around just helpful. The manager was great he allowed an early check-in as we arrived approximately an hour early. Housekeeping were exceptional our room was spotless. I would recommend this property to anyone.

Upon check-in I was told that somebody else got checked into my room. They moved us upstairs where I was met with a room with bed sheets that appeared to have food wiped on them, when brought to their attention I was told \"we only have two people working so we'll get it taken care shortly\". By the time I walked back upstairs the phone was ringing and we were told that the manager had to leave for the day and they were moving me rooms because they \"couldn't get to it until tomorrow morning\". The hallways and rooms were visibly dirty, the staff didn't seem to have any idea what was going on in the building or with the rooms. We changed rooms twice before anything got remotely close to resolved.

I’m not sure where the people who posted bad reviews are getting them from. I would stay in this hotel again and recommend it to anyone. The rooms were clean, sure there are a few specs of dirt on the outsides of the carpet, but there was no mildew smell when we came. We stayed directly across from the front desk. The breakfast was amazing! They even had espresso in the coffee machine. It’s free complementary hotel breakfast, so if you like your eggs over medium, you’re not getting them that way. But there was eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, hash browns along with your average complimentary hotel breakfast-absolutely delicious. The Keurig in our room was clean, we left it open to air out so it doesn’t mold (common sense). We didn’t use the hot tub since we stayed here to use the hot springs because it seems silly to use a chlorinated hot tub if you have natural hot springs available a mile away. And my mom said the showers were “too hot” lol

We stay same hotel once a year. Love the staff! Room needed thorough vacuuming. I do floor stretches which puts my eyes floor level. Accumulated food bits along edge of beds. Dropped a paper behind TV furniture. Wish I hadn't had to see what I did when I retrieved it. Yuk!

First of all got double charged told me it’s what the bank institutions do so if you’re limited on budget just beware of this. The room was very dirty the sheets have stains the tub was filthy and hair was everywhere had to clean myself before we could shower the pool and hot tub was dirty and the hot tub was cold very little water and full of crap. Thank goodness it was just a place to sleep. But the bed was comfortable

Good but a bit smelly.

Front desk was very nice and accommodating as I arrived late. Daytime front desk was great too. For some reason I got a handicap room. When I opened the door it smelled like a wet dog. Once I had ac on it got better but maybe deep clean the carpet. The location was on edge of town and opposite side of the hot springs which is why I was there. Breakfast was pretty good. There was a lot of variety but the eggs were not good.

Dino Dig Great Location & Breakfast

We stayed in Thermpoolis our on way to Yellowstone. We cruised into Thermpoolis around 11pm at night. It was a long and dark, highly nerve raking drive. The hotel front desk person was super friendly and ready for us when we arrived at the front desk. She was great!

We loved our breakfast and the service was excellent.

My one concern was the the hotel room was lacking a privacy door latch. This just made me feel a bit anxious with only a deadbolt. Also, the bathroom ceiling fan looked like it had not been cleaned since the Chicago Bears won a super bowl.

Overall, it met our needs and was a great location in proximity to the Dinosaur Center.
