L’établissement est bien situé et agréable, et ce n’est pas un mauvais lieu en soi. Cependant, il est important d’être transparent, il est affiché comme un hôtel alors qu’il fonctionne en réalité comme une résidence autonome. Si vous recherchez un véritable hôtel avec services et accueil, ce n’est pas l’endroit adapté. Tout est en self-service, avec des démarches d’état des lieux à l’arrivée et à la sortie, et une réception non ouverte en continu, ce qui limite l’assistance.

Le ménage de fin de séjour peut être facturé, mais de manière paradoxale même en payant le ménage la cuisine n’est pas incluse. Les clients paient donc un service tout en étant obligés de nettoyer eux-mêmes.

La piscine est un point positif, mais très orientée familles, avec beaucoup de bruit et des plongeons fréquents malgré les règles affichées.

Les horaires sont excessivement déséquilibrés, avec un check-in tardif à 17h et un check-out à 10h, ce qui est peu raisonnable.

Finalement l’attitude de la cheffe d’équipe, une dame d’un certain âge aux cheveux courts, a totalement gâché la fin de l’expérience. Depuis le premier jour un manque totale d’amabilité, soupirs, regards déplacés et ton sec, même pour de simples demandes.
Lors de l’état des lieux de sortie, à 10h du check-out elle nous a demandé de quitter le logement immédiatement malgré le fait d’être déjà prêts avec nos bagages, avec une attitude froide et autoritaire. Expérience finale négative.

The property is a run down. The apartment is decorated all in brown and hence dark.
We did not realize that we would need to make our own beds and clean the apartment upon leaving. That took over three hours and included dropping all bedsheets and towels in the basement. Cleaning left to renters means that the apartment is only not very clean. There was very little storage in our apartment.
Positives - the kitchen was equipped, and the appartment was spacious though with limited storage. The pools are small but nice and the gym functional. No changing rooms though means one must walk back to the apartment in wet clothing...
Location is great,.5min walk from the bakery, and less than 10min from supermarket and restaurants. Staff at reception were friendly.
Parking available for small weekly fee.

Tired, dark and dismal rooms

Dark and depressing, everything is brown, very little natural light, clean but very tired and very basic.
This is not a Hotel, you have to make your own beds, staff unhelpful when we needed to move rooms because of the barking dog next door …. we asked if they could help move the linen and were told by them that that wasn’t there job why should they do it??? Maybe a misunderstanding as i thought we were booking a hotel room this feels more like a hostel …..

For 250 euros a night this isn't good value for money, the apartments are run down with old and sometimes broken furniture. On the plus side they are spacious, but you are expected to make your own beds and strip them all after your stay as well as clean the apartment and this wasn't clear in the booking. For 250 euros a night, I would have expected a higher standard of accommodation and service. There is also no reception staff available on Sundays which makes check out challenging with bedding to return and a lack of instructions or help with issues. People were friendly and helpful when available, but I think the lack of services and self-preparation should be made clearer on the booking.

Nice location, easy 5 minute walk to slopes and restaurants. The room was completely fine for what we needed.

A few points, reception is rarely open, and when it is the staff are not always there. WiFi is not free. You can use the steam/sauna room for 30 minutes and only if you book - back to the first point of being able to liaise with staff. There are no amenities in room - 1 bin bag, 1 toilet roll, no washing up material which means you have to buy everything in an alps town where it’s already expensive. You also have to make your own beds unless you pay.

We didn’t pay over the odds so it was fine for the price but basic at best

Good location, nice pool and spa. Have stayed before and will probably stay again but the room was dirty when we arrived. Came with another family as we did last year and requested rooms close together through several e-mails, reply when we arrived was we didn’t get the communication, our rooms couldn’t have been further apart, which isn’t ideal with young families.

When we arrived, we were upgraded to a 4 person apartment which turned out to be perfect for two of us! I think it would be crowded with 4 people though - and I would not like to book a studio again if it is smaller.

On a more negative note, the apartment lacks some of the basics such as washing up items, cleaning products, bin bags (they provide one), toilet roll (they provide one) etc. and so you have to buy them. I'm sure they could reuse some of the these products from previous guests or supply them to reduce the impact on the environment.

During our stay, it was disappointing that the sauna broke down and no one thought to tell us before we turned up for our booked slot in our swimwear - it would have been easy for them to slip a notice under our door to avoid the awkwardness.

We found the floors and walls to be rather thin and we were kept up and woken early by the residents above us.

Bottom line:
- Bring your own cleaning products and daily essentials as they are expensive in the resort.
- The 4 bed apartments are nice and comfortable for 2 people
- Wi-Fi is expensive but there is 4G
- Don't expect the best customer service

Brilliant Les Gets. Rude staff on Accommodation.

The attitude of members of staff was wrong and rude from day one till check out. From the beginning “you need to carry your own bedding in the room and do your bed” up to check out day when they ware preparing for new guests. When we asked why we didn’t had similar they said “new policy if you don’t like it don’t come back”. We had the check out booked in advance for 09.00 “busy people” them and at 08.45 Daisy came and said “if you are not ready then you will wait until when I want to come back.....” we replied that we are done just hoovering and she start talking in french with one girl sort of “interesting” words.
Overall shame for location as if they don’t change the staff they will keep receiving this feedback. I was not the only one there complaining but the beauty of Les Gets makes you move on for the days.
Conclusion YES Les Gets
Definitely NEVER to this “Hotel Farm”

The service was great after we weren't satisfied with the 1st room we've got, the team suggests us another 2 options, and since this moment the stay was really comfortable. The chalet close to Les gets center and there's a really nice view.

Our apartment was nice with two bedrooms, one ahower, one tub, and one toilet. Says it sleeps six, but the sofa bed would be difficult to pull out as the dining table was there. Met all of our needs with having a fridge and kirchen, walking distance to shops and restaurants.

Great location, good family room.

Nice stay. Facility in good condition, staff pleasant to work with. Didn’t get to use steam room or sauna because you need an appointment and limited hours. Small complaint that the indoor and outdoor pools have early closings. Indoor pool closed on Saturday which seems ridiculous.
Check in hours on this site listed as 1630 but sign on the door says they open at 1700.
You also must make your own bed and then clean apartment and remove bedding and bath linens.
Loved the village and would stay again. No frills but comfortable and good price.

Great 1st family skiing holiday

Having never stayed at a residence before, was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the apartment as I had been a little concerned after reading some reviews but shouldnt have worried. The place was lovelt and clean, however it was apparent there had been guests who smoked in the olace previously but niyhing that a trip to the shop and an air freshener didnt sort out. Pointrd this out to thr staff and they were very polite. We had a 2 bed apartment for 3 of us and it was ample space and would recommend if budget allows to go for as big an apartment you can afford. Rooms were spacious, had 2 separate bathrooms and good sized lounge/kitchen area. Whilst the kitchen there is a bit small and no oven but there was a microwave with grill and everything else you would need. The pool was also a welcome relief after a day on the slopes and our daughter loved it. Location is good, just a short walk right to the bottom of the slopes & the Chavannes gondola.
One word of advice, if arriving after 8pm would recommend stopping to get a few basics before getting to Les Gets as all the shops shut at 8pm, especially useful if like me, you like a cup of tea and little one likes her hot milk before bed

This is a great place for families as was the case with me. Having the pool and spa area was fantastic for the kids after a day on the slopes and is quite rare in Les Gets. The walk to the centre of town is around 6-7 minutes (it did, however, take a bit longer for my 4-year-old) The main lift is just as close, if not closer. Definitely would recommend, having stayed all over Les Gets.

Good location, not far to walk to the main Chavannes bubble lift. Friendly helpful staff. The apartments have everything you need, very well equipped kitchen, plenty of utensils, plates, glasses etc.
No restaurant but lots of choice for places to eat nearby.

Fantastic location only a short stroll to village centre, close to a selection of Savoyard Restaurants. The highlight was definitely the deep pool and hot jacuzzi. Only criticism was I felt jacuzzi should be reserved for adults only as too hot for children

Great place!

A great apartment for a family skiing holiday. We had a 2 bed apartment for 4 of us, the kitchen was small ,but very well equipped. The staff were very helpful and the swimming pool and spa were excellent and much needed after a full day on the slopes!
Fresh bread and croissants can be ordered at reception for collection in the morning. We would definitely return here and would consider staying in one of their other residence’s.

Easy walk to the main ski areas/schools. New build apartments and luck of the draw which one you get but decent facilities and pleasant helpful staff at reception. We were 2 families travelling with young kids and had no problems at all. (Oh - 15 minutes cleaning will save you the €35 cleaning fee - just watch for finger smudges on the windows)

Good location but annoying aspects

Good location and close to lifts, ski schools and restaurants. The facilities were pretty good and the kitchen well equipped - except no oven. Having to make up your own beds was a real minus. Didn't expect that for the money we paid. Also having to do an inventory, (plus lots of rules about cleaning at the end) then supposedly have it all checked by staff before we left was not what I expect in accommodation for this price.

The hotel and its staff was very good. Our only complain was that we were given a room on the ground floor with limited sunlight and view. Hotel facilities were very good (indoor-outdoor swimming pool, carpark,..). The room was very clean. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The hotel is walking distance to the town center.

Lovely - second visit

This was our second visit, this time we were in a one bedroom apartment. The double bedroom is much larger than in a two bedroom and there was more than enough room for two people - I think you could probably squeeze a child in too but would be much more cramped. The furniture was new when we came last year and sadly this year is showing some wear and tear but there was plenty of everything and it is good quality. We like it because the staff are fantastic and very helpful. The pool and Jacuzzi are a welcome addition especially on aching ski muscles and the rooms have everything you could need to self cater - there is not an oven but there is a good microwave and we eat out most nights anyway!

Christmas week at Les Gets

We stayed in Residence Lagrange for a week during Christmas. We had a good experience: good residence, relatively central and good amenities. The appartment was good with more space than expected and good storage. There is also a good spa in the residence and a common lounge area with a pool table (albeit not free, 2euros per game (this should be included in the stay)). It is a 5-10mn walk to the main street of Les Gets which is ok, albeit a bit hard with ski equipement (better with car (there is parking available at the Residence)). One of the negatives is the lack of inclusion of options in the initial package: wifi has to be bought separately, parking and end of stay cleaning as well. It is also very difficult to contact the Residence before being there. In summary, a few small things that would make the overall booking much easier.

Friendly staff, enthusiastic about the alps. Smart and chic apartments more like a city pad than an alpine ski resort. Nice change from ubiquitous Xmas deco. Hotel not part of the leisure pass scheme this summer, but possibly next year but can buy lift passes . Good area for walks, but lifts are more geared up for mountain bikes, which means quite lengthy round trips. Shame more lifts aren't open!

Overall, a very good hotel/apartment for the price. The hotel staff were very friendly and, unlike some other reviewers, we had no issues checking out, with no queues and no problems to speak of.

The apartment was on the small side (we got the 6 person) but we were a smaller group so it was fine for us. I would definitely recommend getting a bigger room than your group though so that you aren't on top of each other.

The beds, on the other hand, were massive and comfortable (if you like harder beds) but only had 1 small pillow each so take a spare if that's your thing.

The location was good, quiet but close to the centre and the lifts and had nice views (although I imagine it's difficult not to).

Definitely a good budget stay and I would recommend to younger people who are looking for a good place to sleep and not spend long in the smallish room. There are also safe lockups available for skis and bikes so it's good all year round.

Super apartments, we got given a bigger apartment than we had reserved. It was for 6 people rather than 2, although I'm not sure how 6 people would fit in! Everything was in great; clean and comfortable, and the decor nice and modern. Check in to the room wasn't available until 5pm which was a little frustrating, but others were able to check in earlier as the rooms became available, also there is a storage room for bags near reception. Apartment is about a 10-15 minute walk to the lifts (in ski boots) check out process quick and easy. All the staff were friendly and helpful - we will be back soon!

Self-catering apartment with hotel facilities

We had a one-bedroomed apartment sleeping upto 6. 2 bathrooms but only 1 toilet. lounge area including kitchen and dining, TV etc leading to small balcony. Ideal for family of 4 but would be crowded with 6.
Hotel facilities include a cental lounge area with games and tea and cofee.
There is a swimming pool and hot-tub.
For skiers there is a boot-room for storage of boots and skis but the access is through the hotel reception.
Under-cover or outside parking is avaialable and extra costs. We parked right outside the Hotel for free but there are limited spaces.
The property is a good 10 minute walk, initially uphill which is not great with skis and wearing ski-boots so consider storage at a hire-shop near the slopes.
There is a range of shops, a take-away pizza and a supermarket within 5-10 minutes walk. There are many bars and restuarants in town but try and book and peak times especially if you have a large party.

Good central location

My wife, and I, with our 14 year old daughter stayed at this complex for one week on 06.07.13. We had a great time and particularly enjoyed the location that was close to the centre of Les Gets, with a variety of restaurants, shops, etc. The swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor were a bonus, although at times quite busy.
We stayed in an apartment that could have slept 8 people, however I think trying to accommodate any more than 5 would be impractical, the living room had one three seater settee, although the large dining table had 8 chairs. It was tight.
There was limited internet access priced at €20 /week, it was poor, and could only handle one device. The TV had most languages except English, and we tried to re-tune it several times without success.
The staff were very friendly, and the accommodation was well kept and clean. We would stay there again.

Op zich een redelijk apartement, balkon was klein, net als de douche-ruimte. Douche zelf was wel lekker.
Fijne broodservice in de ochtend.
laten schoonmaken is duur en aansluiten op betaalde wifi was voor ons niet mogelijk, we kregen het niet voor elkaar.
In de foyer was gelukkig wel goede en gratis wifi.
Parkeergarage (wel betaald) onder het gebouw: er fijn.

Le gros avantages de cet hébérgement est sa proximité avec les pistes. Le point à revoir d'urgence: l'hygiène et la proprété! Le nettoyage n'a clairement pas été fait avant notre arrivé (à part un ménage de fin de séjour ridicule par les voyageurs avant). Ca sentait mauvais, il restait des serviettes sales dans les placards. Apparemment, il y avait un problème avec l'équipe de ménage. C'est ce qu'on nous a dit à la fin de notre séjour ... Très limite tout cela. Le chalet était peu pratique, très sombre et étroit avec de vieux équipement et sans le moindre charme. Très cher pour ce que c'est et tout \"extre\" est payant - le wifi (qui était cassé toute la semaine et la 4G peine à passer partout), le parking, le ménage... nous n'y retourneront certainement pas.

Mooie lokatie, maar viel allemaal wat tegen

Wij vonden de woonkamer erg klein en donker. Alles een beetje in een kleine ruimte gepropt. Kwam absoluut niet overeen met de wide angle foto's. Hebben wel een andere kamer aangeboden die iets lichter en een wat efficientere indeling had. Echter weer een mini keuken waar je je kont niet kon keren. Wij vinden dat de foto's misleidend zijn.

Verder wel een fijne plek en een lekker ruim balkon.

Alles was wel erg idiot proof en miste wat sfeer.

De sauna was 1x gratis en daarna moest je betalen. Beetje flauw.

Wat vermeld had moeten worden is dat aan overkant gebouwd wordt en dat er daarvan veel lawaai is.

Al met al viel dit verblijf ons tegen.

Ook miste een vaatwas tablet en keukendoekje, koffie filter voor eerste dag. Erg mager allemaal.

L'établissement en lui même est correct. Sans plus. Manque un peu de chaleur et de design pour le prix.
Appartement correct mais canapé lit explosé. Mon appartement avait 2 chambres minuscules. Difficile de circuler dans 9m2 avec un lit qui prend 95% de la place.
Bien situé pas très loin du centre.
Piscine interieur avec eau très très fraiche. Impossible de me baigner. Pas testé la piscine ext
