It's a perfect place if you're wanting to be closer to the warf or to Apia airport. The staff are friendly and welcoming with a willingness to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The sea view is breathtaking. All the amenities that you need are available. So having a nice cup of hot coffee and watching the sun rise is next level. I highly recommend this resort the price is affordable. I'll be coming back for my last 2 days before our early flight back hame and I'm looking forward to this

My stay at Le Vasa exceeded my expectations. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and my room was situated right on the South Pacific. My room was clean and we'll appointed and the restaurant, Cocolinas, was also by the water and served superb cuisine and very reasonably priced. Best of all was the friendliness and helpfulness of every employee I had contact with. They all went out of their way to make sure my stay was perfect. There are too many people to cite individually but the manager and Estera were especially helpful and caring. The only downside to Le Vasa was having to leave after my week's stay. I sincerely hope to return when I am able.

The resort is beautiful and there are a couple of local shops in walking distance. Staff were mostly lovely and very helpful. Dinner is overpriced at the resort itself and we had several instances where dinner and drink orders were forgotten by the wait staff. Food items are also misleading (e.g. the Cajun fish is just ordinary fish and chips - nothing Cajun about it). Great beach (no snorkelling to speak of though) and resort transfers to the wharf or airport are almost double that of a normal taxi. That said - there were all minor complains and would recommend this to anyone. Other than the dinner menu - really great value for money.

The villas were great and spacious. I had a massage and the lady was lovely. One of the best massages I’ve had. Food was also very good and tasty. Had a mishap (being overcharged Fiafia night fee. Weren’t aware there would be a fee going to dinner at the hotel on this night. Spoke to staff about this and they sorted it out. Would be good to have a heads up on the Fia Fia night fees before being seated for dinner. M

The room was simple, the external shower and toilet were fun, and the pond was alive with fish. The gardens, pool and bar/restaurant are attractive and well maintained.The staff were outstanding. The only disappointment were the meals we chose and the prices. Nevertheless we would stay there again and recommend it as an enjoyable and affordable resort.

Absolutley loved Le Vasa Resort.
Had such a wonderful stay.
The surrounding beach is stunning and our fale was equipped with everything we needed, even air con!!
Had a lovely dinner at the resort, followed by a beautiful tropical breakfast.
The cocktails at happy hour are great and the pool is so refreshing.

Such a wonderful experience and beautiful sunrise and sunset.

There for 10 nights. 1st night, air con not working. Walked up to reception and was told someone would go up to fix. Nothing done. Go back to reception and then moved to a new cabin..same problem. Moved AGAIN to new cabin. Air con worked fine here however had to move back to original cabin once air con unit had been totally replaced.

No hot water in cabin. Housekeeping done every 4 days. Walked up to reception several times to ask for toilet paper, new towels & rubbish bags for bins. No phones in cabins to contact reception or to order room service however if you order at restaurant/bar and ask them to bring to your cabin, you’ll be charged for “room service”.

There is free/complimentary tropical breakfast for guests who stay longer than 3 nights, as advised by reception. Every 2nd day, I would be told I had to pay for my breakfast and would have to go to reception again to sort it out. Obvious that “rules” changed on whomever was working that day. Some mornings coffee would be part of breakfast and other days, you would be charged for the coffee. No consistency amongst staff.

It was disappointing to see caucasians vs samoan paying guests were treated with far more preference and favouritism.

Wifi only works at reception and restaurant/pool area.

Staff need to be aware that they have Samoan guests who can understand the language. It was embarrassing that staff would be discussing personal issues and talking about other staff members in the open

Honestly place was a dream, for me and my family we enjoyed it so much, my wife wasn't too fond of it first time there but as the days went on she fell in love with it and we are definitely coming back here next time for sure, the food was great the options were amazing the drinks were good the vibes all in all amazing beautiful scenery and the activities available was just out of this world, loved the fact there's no TVs because we were trying to pry our kids away from it and man this place was perfect thank you so much.

Also the Service from workers fucken AWESOME excuse the language. Best place to come for a relaxing wind down holiday.

Staff super friendly but respectfully kept their distance. Enjoyed a nice dinner. Description is partially helpful. I like to order food based on pictures to give an idea of expectation. We were charged 2 tala each for our glasses of water. Water should be free considering the costs of each meal. WiFi should also be free and could potentially attract more patrons. We had a hut not the bungalow. It rained a lot and you could not sit in the veranda as you get drenched. Also had to walk the few meters to shower and toilet in the rain. Suggest to extend the roof a little and the problem would be solved.

Our family of 4 (2 teenage sons) stayed in the Deluxe over water ocean front fale. It was a clean and spacious room with a beautiful outlook over the water. The beds were very comfortable. There was an aircon unit and 2 ceiling fans which provided ample cool air in the evenings.
We ate at the restaurant and the food and drinks were great value for money.
The bbq and fire show night on Friday was great.
Staff were lovely. The pool was refreshing. Even though it seens to be in the middle of nowhere ( about 45 mins from Apia) it has everything you need.

Full review. The delux room was beautiful just how it was described. The scenary from the deck was everything. The pool was good to swim in. The overall view on the resort was magical. However the carpark to the rooms were to far. Our dinner was okay. The bbq pork chop meal. The pork chop was hard and over cooked. The Cajun chicken pieces were to hard and over cooked too. The fettuccine cabonara & cheesy wedges was our fave. Loved how the shuttle picked us up outside our room. Thank you to our driver. The staff of Le Vasa were super friendly & welcoming. Customer service was top tier. We look forward to booking again soon on our next trip,

The location couldnt be better for snorkelling and kayaking, the attol keeps the water inside calm and flat most days, the water is beautifully clear too.It was my birthday on the day we arrived and the staff made the day very special. Le Vasa is located not far from the ferry terminal and airport, but about an hours drive from Apia. The cabins are dated but the bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure. The few items that needed repairs were fixed efficiently although some staff had trouble understanding English. Rooms are not serviced for short stays but they will replace milk and tea and coffee facilities. If visiting Samoa you really need to hire a car if you wish to leave the resort, as apart from taxis there is really no other transport for tourists. Tour excursions are available but limited. Everything is so far apart.

Everyone was very friendly and tried to be accommodating. Each individual unit was an amazing experience. It made everything seem so private and special. The view was breathtaking!
One thing that could have been done more efficiently was the payment of the restaurant. Upon check in, we were informed to pay the tab at the registration area. After dining the evening after check in, a server came to our fake to ask for payment. We gladly paid, but were unsure why we were instructed to pay at the register. The next morning we signed a slip then payed at the registration desk upon check out.
This was still an amazing place to stay!

Room had everything we needed and looked out on to the lagoon, a pity the weather wasn’t amazing but that’s out of anyone’s control. Having the pool table available was a good option for indoor activities.

There is nothing special about it and I felt that the staff had no clue about anything-
If you read this, you think you wanna stay here maybe consider somewhere else it’s very meh

Lovely staff and an awesome oceanside setting, but let down by poor maintenance and is a bit worn down.

It's a hot and salty tropical climate, so it's a pretty harsh environment for buildings, but a lot of things were just broken. The Spa pool was broken. Aircon's in our room barely worked. A lot of the windows didn't close properly so when it rained water came into the room.
Lamination in the bathroom vanity falling off.
Just needs a bit of investment.

We did not feel welcome. The staff appear to be walking on egg shells. The owner was telling someone off in the reception.offie, which was completely inappropriate and they also had dogs, one of which did not appear to like guests. The owner was seen to be hitting the dog with a jandal/flip flop. The catamaran was unusable. The video shown must be from the opening 20yrs ago as this place if alling apart. Its actually quote sad. The pool table doesnt work properly, the fussball table has no ball and the library has approximately 30 books. The location is beautiful, but thats about all.
