The hatch leading from the room to the outside AC unit was not closed resulting in extra noise in the room.

Everyone at the Bazaar Hotel are lovely people.Right through to the restaurant,Starbucks.The Hotel has 2 big occassions while I was there I was not disrupted or put out by any of this as it was so well organised.I will always stay at the Bazaar Hotel every time I am in bangkok

This is a Chinese tour hotel, full of rude people and bus loads of arrivals choking up elevators. The food options were absolutely terrible. Lucky for grab.
The front counter staff member told me I had to pay 1000 deposit for room key, which is questioned. Suddenly the supervisor shouted at me across another customer, and made my check in extremely uncomfortable in front of my wife. The WORST service I have ever encountered in any hotel around the world. A truely horrible woman, I felt so sorry for the staff who have to work with such a disgusting behaviour. She really should be sacked. There are much better hotels for the price. Unless you are part or a Chinese tour I’d avoid this place and never go back.

There was one gent at reception who spoke excellent English and was extremely helpful. Door concierge were also helpful.

Breakfast excellent value for money yet bit of a walk from hotel.

Most of the guests are Chinese.Everything there is written in Chinese. It did not feel like I sas in Thailand, it felt like I was visting China. That said, the room was nice though a bit dated. They demanded a 1000 BHT cash deposit even though I booked it will a credit card. The had me wait while they checked the room before the returnes the cash to me at checkout… I found that part off putting. The lobby chandeliers wew beutiful.

Good hotel with friendly and helpful staff

The hotel itself is in a good location with convenient transport links. The main issue we had in the hotel was the coachloads (20+) of tourists which made it very difficult to use the lifts and move around the hotel. We had some issues with the WiFI and AC however the Manager went out of her way to ensure the issues were resolved, thank you so much!

water leaks on my bed. cockroaches in the room. sink leaking. toilet seats dirty. Staff at reception unfriendly and don't understand anything about getting another room. This is the worst hotel of my life that I travel. I find it strange how they have 5 stars. this hotel is never for me again.

The location was nice, just beside the MRT.
The room was great, however the design could be better. eg. there is one bed side table and no powerpoint located at the side table. Limited sound proofing, we were awaken a few times by the door closing of other rooms. The noise level by the aircon compressor is quite unbearable. The clothes hangers provided can only hang shirt but not pants. Only 1 chair in the room ( yes, there was a sofa ) but when we order in for meals, one person would have no place to sit.

The structure of the hotel is very long, hotel phone operator / receptionists do not pick up the phone, so we have to go downstairs for any inquiries.

Hotel guests were sleeping in the lobby sofa, this is really unacceptable for a 5 star hotel as indicated in Expedia's website.

Service crew at the counter definitely requires more training on customer service.

It was positioned in an abandoned mall. So far it's quite far from the city centre but right beside the MRT station so that's great. The property is quite old and the decor actually reflects it. Overall okay.

Not worth it

This hotel is advertised as being in a hood shopping / restaurant district. The whole place is abandoned except for the hotel, besides the breakfast (which was disappointing) there’s only one restaurant around. Luckily the hotel is by the train because we had to always take it to go eat. The room itself looks nice until you take a closer look, cleaning is eh and the finishes are not great. Bed is hard as a rock. Wish we would have stayed somewhere else. The staff was very friendly though.

Clean, Spacious, Well Equipped, Beside MRT

I booked a superior twin room. It was huge. There was a living room, the bed room and a toilet with a bathtub. The whole experience was great. The gym was well equipped with different machines and the hotel is really near the MRT, which was what I exactly needed. I would go back to the same place again.

Was happy to get upgraded. However, checkout took too long. Not so ideal for business as time is tight but the hold up at the check-out was a bummer.

Be aware of a group tour

Beside having to deal with a large group of Chinese tour this is a great place for the price. Don’t go to the breakfast buffet unless you brave enough to beat the crowd first thing in the morning. That being said waiting for elevator and have a relax moment can be a challenge as well.

might be a luxury hotel, but you could do better.

My stay at the Bazaar Hotel started interesting... they have busloads of Chinese tourists daily. it was constantly crowded as a result. This resulted in my room being wrong on arrival, I was given a standard room when I paid for a suite. The staff corrected the problem quite fast. When I got to the suite the AC was not running, the shower still had someones fingernails on the ledge, the room was requested cleaned 4 times in 6 days and that was never addressed. Gross. The bed was rock hard. The switches for the lights are semi-connected so there is a specific order things need to be turned on and off. The doorbell for next door rang in my room and the doorbell for my room simply didn't work. If still thinking about booking this suite out, I also feel it should be known that the couch is not a hide-a-bed so you will need to request a roll away. The hotel also does not offer laundry service so if you need to clean clothes during your stay. good luck finding a place. The pool closes at 10pm but the gym area is pretty neat all the same.

The hotel staff are nice though. i ordered room service a couple nights and the staff were generous and the portion size is good.

The hotel is right next to Lat Phrao MRT station. it will get you close to china town but plan on taxi's after you arrive at the last stop. an MRT trip will take about 45min to go from Lat Phrao to Hua Lamphong.

This is a new property so rooms look good and staff is pleasant. The walls are a bit thin so there's some noise from neighboring rooms. The biggest inconvenience is that there are only two small elevators for an 800 room hotel. I noticed that they have opened a 3rd freight/staff elevator to the public but this occasionally results in sharing the elevator with laundry carts and carts of dirty dishes. There are no English language channels on the TV. This hotel caters primarily to Chinese tourists. Because many Chinese are new to travel they don't have much sense of what is appropriate behavior when traveling. I understand that they are a newly developed country and that it will take a while for some of the less educated travelers to develop better knowledge. I think it greatly benefits the world for Chinese to travel and see other places. However, if you don't like people who refuse to que and take turns, if you don't like shouting at dinner tables or in the public areas of the hotel, if you don't like people smoking in the hotel, if you don't like people dragging their infants feet across your dinner table and hitting you then this is not the hotel for you. The staff do a good job of managing the occasional chaos that ensues when dealing with large numbers of Chinese tourists descending on the hotel by the bus load. The location of this hotel was ideal for my business. The access to the MRT subway station is excellent. I would stay here again.

The hotel is great nice big clean rooms good location, great food. The only serious problem I encountered that makes me Never wanna go back again is that 99% of the customers is Chinese. They are loud , impolite, slam with doors, push you when they try to leave the elevator, ....
