The Sama Sama Hotel has two Airport hotels - the one within the International airport is the smaller Sama Sama Express.
The main Sama Sama Hotel is just out of the airport building but guests are taken both ways in a golf buggy in under cover walkways and it takes about 2 to 3 minutes max. This is the hotel I am commenting on.
The Hotel is very luxurious in every respect unlike most airports we have stayed in around the world .
The guest rooms are large and have every convenience plus very comfortable beds - the restaurants and bars are first class - the outdoor pool and garden are resort style .
I always stay at Sama Sama on the way to UK and Europe as Malaysian Airlines have great departure times from Australia to KL then non stop KL to Heathrow flights .
I stick by my comment it is “ The best Airport Hotel in the World “ .

Fantastic five stars all the way around they even will give you a buggy ride to and from KLIA terminal one l

Everything in the room included, they give you a nice coffee and snacks as well as amenities in case you are short

Breakfast was fantastic and included. American hotels could sure learn a lesson from these hotels.

Room was spacious and clean. Outdoor pool was nice; the service at table was quick and it was enjoyable to have a drink ordered by the pool. Breakfast was big and had many different options. We had the buffet dinner and enjoyed it very much. Special mention for the free transportation via golf cart to the airport 24/7. Especially since we had a 7:00am flight to catch so we had to be at the airport for 4:00am. Everything was quick and efficient. Thank you!

So convenient connected to the airport! The hotel is fresh and nice after a long hall flight. I had lounge access which was amazing! Only down side, there wasn't alot of veggie options. So I only ate 2 items from the spread, would have loved a few more. Breakfast is a huge spread! Again I couldn't try it all but hopefully in future they have more options for us veggies.

A great stopover hotel for KL transit. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the shuttle to the terminals runs on demand and smoothly, and the location is ideal for the international terminal. Everything was clean and comfortable. The pool area was under renovation during the stay, but it seemed in line with broader updates the property is undertaking and did not impact use.

The room is clean but needs renovation as it is quite outdated. The pool is closed due to maintenance. The staff on Club Floor needs more training as they are not very efficient and they talk quite loudly among themselves.

Best airport hotel ever. Location is of course super convenient, but it was also amazingly quiet and peaceful. We originally booked the hotel at the beginning of the trip because our first flight got in so late. We liked it so much that we adjusted our hotel reservations at the end of the trip to stay in sama sama again. We got an upgrade to Premier room where the curated food options were delish. Thank-you!

Great hotel to stay at while transiting through KL. Is a short walk from KLIA1 or there are little buggies that will take you. The hotel is clean, beds are extremely comfortable, breakfast was delicious. If you want to go into KL you can buy a return ticket on the KLI Espres train. Cost about 90, 000 RM but gets you into the city in 30 minutes.
The only downside this time at the hotel was that the pool at the hotel was undergoing maintenance and closed at 7:00 p.m. I would definitely stay here again on my next time through here.

Lovely hotel clean and staff exceptionally welcoming It even has an executive lounge. Quite impressed. Was a pleasant surprise and will definitely use this hotel if I needed to again. Hotel has buggies to the airport but it’s. Not a far walk if you choose to do so.

If you have an early flight out of KL, this hotel is a no-brainer. Rather than setting an alarm for some ungodly hour and enduring a long taxi ride from central Kuala Lumpur, you’re literally a few minutes from departures via their golf buggy shuttle. The convenience alone justifies booking it.

A nice bonus is the Bar and Grill, which stays open until around 3 AM — so if you arrive late and want a proper meal, a beer, or a glass of wine, you’re covered. That kind of flexibility is rare at airport hotels and makes a real difference.

The hotel was very busy during my stay, but it didn’t affect the service at all — staff were friendly and accommodating throughout. The room was comfortable with a good shower, though this isn’t a brand new property and the décor reflects that. The facilities are still perfectly good, just not the most modern you’ll find these days.

It is relatively expensive by Kuala Lumpur standards, but you’re paying for the location and the convenience, and on that basis it delivers. If you’re transiting through KLIA or have an early departure, save yourself the stress and book a night here.

The pool area has had an upgrade and is much better. The food is very good and top marks is for transportation from arrivals hall to reception can be found near the KL Express station. They use long golf caddy carts. Excellent. Great location and highly recommended.

Nice the transfer from airport on the golf buggy. Just follow the hotel signs in the airport. If you have a priority pass and boarding card 2 of the hotels restaurants are included in priority pass (if you have the correct membership). This makes the hotel a very reasonable stay.

It was perfect. Really courteous and helpful check in and out.
The room was fabulous with complimentary snacks and drinks, and the most comfortable bed we’d slept in all holiday. It was very clean and had a wonderful deep bath to relax in, just what we needed after our flight.
There was no noise from the planes which must have been close by, so we had a very restful stay.
The complimentary buggy service from the terminal worked for us too.

Service for a disabled traveller was impeccable - so rare. 100% to the staff and hotel. Lovely hotel. Shuttle is brilliant. Did not feel like an airport hotel at all. Adjacent to the terminal - not need to leave the terminal at all. Check out care wax stunning including arranging my wheelchair assistance instantly. As someone who regularly flies and frequently has to wait 40+ minutes for a pre-booked wheelchair to arrive - this was a revelation. Really well done.
