Wasn't terrible but the sheets did have a few mystery stains. The room could've been cleaned a bit better too. I did like that it was quiet for the most part and there weren't any bed bugs.

Avoid. Floor nasty. Not mopped in a while with blood splatters. Bathtub nasty. Moldy with dirt and used ponytail holders on faucet. Toilet paper had boogers on it from previous guest. Had to drip dry. No visible bugs and the bed wasn’t bad. Otherwise just don’t.

Called 1 day prior to arrival to confirm and add names to reservation and tell of late arrival. Talked to asst manager Allen. He confirmed, added, names said late arrival ok said we had until 5am. Arrived 1am to be told by attendant our reservation was canceled no rooms available. She was VERY rude, told us she didn’t know who canceled the reservation. Found another hotel, last room in town due to local graduation, thank GOD! We were in town for business. Room cost me more money and an additional hour having to relocate. Called the assistant manager Allen back the next day to tell him what happened and was told there is nothing he could do and he was sorry I had to deal with her because she’s always rude and not helpful. He literally said that about his own employee! He also said that when he laughed at 7 PM the previous night the reservation was still on the books and the only person that worked after seven was that employee that said she didn’t know who canceled it so that proved she actually did it herself, liar! I asked for a corporate number and he said he didn’t have one because they don’t call corporate and that there was nothing he could do for us, but talk to the employee.

This place should not even be advertised. I was given a room called non-smoking, and it smelled of old, stale smoke. On top of that I woke up during the night and the smell had gotten worse. I tried calling the front desk and only got "your call cannot be completed..." The walls are thin - in fact there was a hole in the wall of the bathroom - and I could hear everything from the next room. I got up early in the morning to shower and leave and found a roach in the tub. I would rather sleep in my car than stay in this hotel.

Honestly you can tell the rooms have been updated but the hotel room was filthy. There was hairs in the tub from the previous guests. The sink was nasty with previous toothpaste and blood on the sink. The floors looked like they have never been cleaned. The doors were dirty, the walls had food on them. The only think that was ok was the sheets looked clean and that’s still a stretch to say the least. I didn’t complain because I was exhausted but this property was in need of a good cleaning.

The lady checking us in was nice. That’s all I have positive to say about this place. I stayed here with my 6 month old, 2 year old, & pregnant wife. I wouldn’t recommend this place to families. I stayed locked and loaded when walking out to the car at night. Cameras are all broken with wires hanging out, disconnected from the ceiling. There were a lot of sketchy people hanging around. There was someone attempting to break into one of the rooms while I was there and I heard the person call the front desk to report it, only for the woman at the desk to answer it and strike up an attitude with the customer. It was a fever dream but my wife and I just laughed and shook our heads. “At least we’re only here for one night.” I didn’t grow up rich, and have seen worse..but as a father I felt guilty having my family stay here. I thought the reviews were genuine but they’re mostly from the locals who stay here and party here. A friend from the area later confirmed this & couldn’t believe when I told him we stayed here. We didn’t know this & he even felt bad for not warning us. It was belligerently dirty. I didn’t expect what I walked into. I went and found a maintenance closet with a broom and dustpan and swept our room out myself. I figured: why pay for the Holiday Inn if it shares a lawn with this place but dang. Lol if anything I feel bad they have to stair down at this place. I felt like they watched us like some aliens or zoo animals from their high rise windows.

The whole experience was good. The convenience of the nearby restaurants and shops is great. The rooms were super clean as well as the exterior of the hotel. The staff were great, especially Mr. Alan. There were no people or children hanging out and running around. I would definitely come here again. All that was .issing was a pool and a working microwave. A kitchenette would be good, but overall, I truly enjoyed my stay. I would recommend this hotel if you're traveling or staying in Brookhaven for a bit.

Towels were dirty, makeup stains, and I even found a hair on one of the towels. bed sheets had yellow stains on them as if they were old dingy sheets. Hotel room had a musty smell, not moldy smell, but more musty. Did not smell clean and refreshed. AC worked good and was quiet. Walls were dirty, as if they needed a fresh coat of paint. Bed was comfy if you like a medium plush mattress feeling.
Price was affordable and I wouldn’t have wanted to pay more than what we did. $62.00. Guy at front desk was nice!

The room could have been swept out before it was rented. The floors were dusty and had died bugs on them. The A/C was old and smelled of milldew with fungus around the bottom. I called the office and they immediately moved me to another room. The second room was great it was clean , no bugs A/C was clean. The lock on the door was really good. I for one will NEVER come here again. There spots all on my wall of hand prints. The pillows had stains on them. The room key was all scratched up that it was hard for me to get in my room. It was people outside my bedroom all night Loud cursing and smoking weed. The tub was so dirty. The towels were stained. I thought that this was a new hotel in the area and I was mistaken. Horrible experience!!! No wonder why it was soooo cheap. I had to get spray and a glade plug in to get the smell out of my room.
